Great menu, fun atmosphere, although I didn't get to try any of their drinks, since this was a work lunch. Maybe next time!

Disappointed the past couple visits! They need to update menu and beer list - inevitably the beer you want is no longer available and the menu no longer has any new adventures on it. Plus last night there were flies - not a good sign!

Waited a loooong time for our food. Great wait staff, nice atmosphere. Would definitely go back.

I'm a regular and very disappointed today. Imperial Haddock was not imperial. Supposed to come work lump crabmeat in the panko dressing. There was not. I know what a lump looks like... there wad no lump crabmeat. Ok but the manager told me it was in the bread crumb mix. Please.... you can't bet away with that in NE. Also told me i was the 1st customer to complain in 4 years making me feel like 100's of people beside me thought it was fine. Then he comes out with a small dish of real lump crabmeat. No to late and please don't tell me it's raining when you're peeing on my leg. Other than that the food is good and consistent, service friendly and professional. I'll go back but the managers son should have not blamed the chef either.

Needs improvement. Dissatisfied with service and quality of food. Then again, you get what you pay for and this place is the embodiment of that cliche. So I'm giving it three .

Waitress was scarce during non peak hours.. I remember this place 3 years ago super attentive.. couldn't get out soon enough sadly... service an food minimum.. but pleasant

This is my favorite place to eat. I go here at least once a week (sometimes more) and my food is always perfect! Awesome food; you really can't beat the price for this quality, and they always have great deals going on like burger monday night ($5 burgers) and taco tuesday, plus my favorite (big) $5 margaritas! Best place to eat in Shrewsbury, would give it more than 5 stars if I could.

Went with my mother to have a decent meal after a hard day of shopping, thought Jimmy's would be a nice place to get a sandwich or something. The hostess was nice, though our waitress was a bit ditzy and forgetful. We didn't think anything about at first, assuming she was busy with someone else, but when we called her the second time, as she was attending to the table only a few feet away from us, she completely ignored us. My mother's coffee was warm when it arrived and very strong. Not even the sugar packets or cream could take away the taste. She didn't even get the drink she asked in replacement. We ordered the zucchini sticks for an appetizer and they came out lukewarm and soggy. Not what we expected. Finally when our meal came, I order the Classic Cheesburger my mother ordered the 6 ounce Filet mignon, it looked horrible!! Her meal looked like a burnt hamburger and my cheeseburger and fries were completely dry!! We decided we weren't eating anything and asked to leave. The hostess called the manager over who only made things worse. After telling our expirence, he said "well....someone has to pay for the appitizer you ate". Seriously?! My mother and I only had a few and they tasted complete horrible!! As we started to walk out the door he tried to block us and stop us from leaving. As we walked passed him he told us both "obviously this isn't a restaurant for you so don't come back..." Our second bad experience at this restaurant. The first time it was a common mistake. I wish Buggaboo was back. Due to this awful experience we will be calling corporate office tomorrow.

Arrived around 6pm on Sunday, was seated quickly. Our steak and chicken dishes arrived hot and were very good. Fast and friendly service. Will go back for sure.

The food was very reasonably priced but of very high quality and flavor. Our table was spacious not over crowded. We enjoyed the fireplace as it was 4* out today and our server was quick kind and friendly We will definitely be back very soon.

The tavern nachos were so great! Our burgers were very good.

Great place to eat! WEnt there for lunch got a 12 inch pizza for $6.99 and it was very good! The atmosphere is great! Would go again!

Food was alright. Free wifi though so they get three stars.

I try to eat a steak here at least once a month. There ribeye is special in a way that even well known places (Capitol Grill, Ruth Chris) can't match. Their rice pilaf is a perfect side. I rarely have space to finish it all. All for about $25.

We had the worst waitress. She said she was new, tried to give her a break but everything was late, couldn't even get the check without reminding her twice and then getting another waitress to get the check.

Good food, great service. Very comfortable booths. Atmosphere is cozy despite size! Will visit for dinner... Lunch menu is a little short... But we ordered a special... Veal picatta... Delicious

Had a good experience on a Tuesday at lunch time. Good tavern style food.

Service was extremely slow.. order a side of gravy for my mashed potatoes and one would think when you spend $21 on a steak that it would it would be free .. no they charge a dollar fifty for side of gravy.. won't be in a big hurry to return.

Very delicious menu variety. Food is cooked to order. A member of the wait staff will serve your party a basket of sliced warm sourdough bread with a small cup of soft butter, if you ask. All food items on the menu are delicious; including desserts. The menu has a good variety of appetizers, soups, salads, entrees, and, of course, desserts. There are specials on the menu every day. There are alcoholic beverages including some exotic drinks as well as beers and wines available only to people who are eligible to order them. Prices are moderate & the portions are of a good size. If you leave there still hungry, it's because you didn't eat everything on your plate. Always notify your server if anyone in your party has food allergies. They will accommodate so that there won't be any problems. Also, you may request substitutions for your side dish, especially if you have any food allergies.
All servers are polite, accurate in the food you order like how you like it prepared. The people who accompany me are always pleased with the food and service. My husband and I are never disappointed and like to plan to come again to try something different from the menu. There is usually a waiting list but it's usually a short time to wait. Part of the restaurant is a bar for waiting for a table. There were 4 members to our party & we had no waiting for our table. One of us had short ribs, another had salmon and my husband and I tried Texas burgers of good proportion. Our friends ordered a hot fudge sundae which they split the large size. There were no complaints except we joked that our stomachs weren't big enough to have more of our meals. Our server gave each of us take home containers.
The restaurant also offers takeout meals.
I highly recommend this restaurant.

When I ordered a to-go and the mash potatoes with my order was forgotten the manager very graciously gave me a $10 gift certificate and apologized. I greatly appreciate his kindness. When my order was correct my food was great!! Very delicious!

The remodel is much nicer than bugaboo. The deco is more modern and higher end.

The menu is small and not vegetarian friendly. The server was pleasant but slow in getting refills.

The nachos comes with sour scream although it is not listed on the menu. The server was nice enough to ask if I wanted a replacement. It was my meal and the others revived their meal at the same time. Thinking they were only nachos and would only take minutes I accepted. Everyone else was done before the replacement was even thought about. It took over 20 minutes to remake. They were quite yummy when it finally arrived. The other people with me helped in eating them as well.

The blt club with a side of chowder was a daily special. The portion was large and very good.

The grilled chicken sandwich was huge. Very juicy and loaded with fries. The fries were lightly seasoned.

They credited the nachos. Overall not bad. The food was very good. The menu too small.

Went out with family visiting from Virginia on a Monday for the $5 burger on Monday everyone enjoyed it...They couldn't believe how good everything was...thx so much to the chef

The food and service at Jimmy's is really good. You can't beat the prices. I had the full rack of ribs. And they were absolutely delicious. I've been to Jimmy's quite a few times. But we'll go back many more times.

Great place to spend an evening. I meet my brother here for dinner every month. The food is very good and reasonably priced. They have many good draft beer selections. The atmosphere is pleasant for spending the evening - they even have a fireplace in the dinning room for nice ambiance (it's like hanging out in your living room). The wait staff has always been friendly and we never feel rushed to finish and move on.

Restaurant is good oh, good people eating good food and the waiting staff is excellent. Good people who care about their customers, would definitely go there again.

Nothing can beat their selection of delicious burgers, on $5 burger night.

Very good food and service. We come here often and have family members with allergy issues that are always taken care of; a manager brings their food out and we have never had a problem. Good beer selection with specials changing frequently.

This is a great restaurant and bar with amazing specials. Start your meal with clam chowder. The $5 burgers on Monday is a great deal on a big juicy burger. Prime rib on Wednesday, some of the best I had. I stopped in 5 times during the week I was in Worcester. Every time the food was good, the beer was cold and staff was super friendly and efficient.

Noah the waiter was awesome. The food was great as were the drinks. We will be back soon.

Steak & Cheese Eggrolls were delicious - I ordered with a side of Remoulade instead of BBQ Ranch (It was def the right move - it paired extremely well.)
The Chicken Pesto sandwich was also quite tasty. The chicken was so tender and moist, the parmesan crust was on point. The fries were seasoned nicely.
Oh, & they bring little rolls w butter while you look over the menu

This is our go to place to meet up with family for a long, leisurely lunch. The servers are friendly and attentive and I liked the fact that our 6 meals were delivered at the same time today. The menu has a wide variety of options and the prices are moderate. I usually order baked scallops, but decided to try the baked "stuffed" haddock for a change. The fish was moist, but the topping was bland and a bit overcooked. I'm going back to my baked scallops next time.

Stopped in here for lunch and couldn't believe the incredibly low prices! The steak tips were just $10.99 and delicious. The atmosphere is great and the service was excellent. If you are in the area I would highly recommend trying it out.
