Went here for the first time today and it was awesome. I ordered the Teriyaki Chicken which was literally the BEST grilled chicken I've ever had from any restaurant...it was perfectly marinated and grilled with just a little bit of that grill char. I've driven past this restaurant many times but never really gave it much thought...do yourself a favor and come try it you won't be disappointed.

Slow service waited at least an hour to get hamburgers and chicken wings waitress disappeared won't return

Large interior that doesn't have a "conference room feeling" Cozy and warm with a slight rustic/Aspen Colorado feel. Food is very well done with a good turnaround time. Staff is friendly. Bar area to the left on entering is spacious and private from dining area. Worth a visit

Food was ok... but the waiter reached across the table and grabbed the money and the check off the table before I could figure out a proper tip, so he only got a small tip... he should of waited until I finished putting the money with the check... hope he learns to wait next time...

Great steaks and burgers. All potato choices have been excellent. Never had bad service and drinks are awesome also. Plus! Clean bathrooms!!!

This is a wonderful place to have a meal. When people like Elizabeth Folsom review a place that has always had great food, it's because she is too stuck up to please. She is a horrible person to begin with but to eat most of her appetizer then cry like the snob she will always be, then walk out well that's just stealing . I have been to Jimmys many times and I have to say NO ONE can beat the steak and the burgers are juicy and made perfect . So to sum this up, I love this place and so do 99% of the people that go there. We can afford it unlike Elizabeth, maybe she needs a job and she should stop spending her parents money shopping or she can take mommy to Burger King next time then she can have it her way . Lmao

I give this place 5 stars because there was nothing wrong I could find with there food or service one of the best places I have been to in a while Very fast, Friendly, CLEAN and not that expensive. 5fast

Had the ribeye with au poivre and mashed Potatoes. One of the best meals I've had in a while. Martinis were killer too. Will be back for sure.

The atmosphere was nice. The was great as wellas the food. The portion size were standard pub size portions.

Steak teriyaki tasted fantastic. I ordered medium but it was well- needed to be a little more juicy.

Burgers, rings, quesadilla, and salmon green salad was good. Salmon was a tad undercooked but best service I've seen in awhile.

Great place, great atmosphere and friendly employees. Never had a bad experience at Jimmy's in Shrewsbury. Last visit we ordered take out online and apparently there was an issue with online ordering which caused me to wait a little bit longer. I never complained to anyone. Dave the manager went above and beyond to take care of the delay. He was very professional and apologetic. Thank you Dave and we will see you again!

We have been here a few times and the restaurant is amazing. The service is good, the steaks are tasty, and the bathrooms are clean. It's not super expensive either, which is a plus! I highly recommend Jimmy's.

All three of us had seafood, scallops, haddock and salmon. All we're delicious. Excellent wait staff. Good prices. My recommendation: try the scallops and sweet potato.

I ordered steak tips which were dry with little flavor that came with soggy fries... Idk if it was cuz it was lunch time or what but atleast the waitress was nice and attentive and the atmosphere was pleasant as well.

Casual pub style but with a dining room side that's nicer than most pubs. The service was good, the server was helpful with menu questions. I got a ribeye and my companion got a filet. The fillet was overcooked and the server happily took it back. Salads do not come with the meal and are an additional cost. Overall good experience and will return.

Big menu, good and consistent food, nice atmosphere, and never waited for a table. Service is always timely and prices aren't bad. Can't go wrong!

Jimmys tavern a pleasure to visit nice people and always good food and drinks today was a wonderful day glad to see April managing and a favorite waitress Emily which works on Saturday and was off today Sunday we will be back to visit again thanks Jimmy' s tavern Feb 25,2018.

Jimmy's is my go to pub in my neighborhood. The food is always great but more importantly the service is always spot on.

Jimmys Tavern is a wonderful dining experience. The atmoshere, food and staff are excellent. My personal favorite is the Ribeye. The most juicy, delicious steak I have ever had. The menu is extensive with something for everyone. I highly recommend it.

Monday $5 burger night is definitely worth it! Great burgers, good service!

Great Food, Wonderful Seasoning & Presentation...... Very Affordable...

Always fantastic! The food is great, the staff is super nice, and for what you get the prices are fantastic. The best part about Jimmy's is the consistency. I've been going for years and no matter what day you go or how busy it is, you'll get exactly what you ordered as you expect it every time. Highly recommend the honey buffalo tenders, steak tips with blue cheese crumble, and the rice pilaf, but you pretty much can't go wrong here anyway.

Food was good. Service was delayed and could have been better and quicker.

We went on a Sunday (2ppl) & sat at a spacious booth near the fireplace. Clean, great service and our bill was $47 for 2 meals a beer and coke. Both meals had steak. Would go back again & recommend. Very accommodating to keto/ or gluten free diet.

We come here often but we've never had an experience like we did Sunday night. Our server Dwane didn't write any of our order down and when the food came everything was wrong. We also could smell a light alcohol scent coming from him. The food was good for what we could eat from it, but we're going to take a break before we decide to come back again.

I love this place. It is a notch above the 99, and the ambiance is great. I often get the Cobb salad, and it is perfect. I always eat half and take half home.

Was very good had the chicken sandwich fresh chicken ,,good French gets ,,had the spinach dip little over cooked but still good waitress,was friendly ,,polite,,and check with us often

Neither do I; but, c'mon, what rating would you give to a restaurant that provided everything you expected PLUS fresh, home-made carrot cake?

In this pandemic age my partner and I have not been to a restaurant since January, 2020 - over a year of take-out, take-out and more take-out. And cooking at home is great, we try to make it fun, but it gets SO BORING!
We both have been fortunate throughout this emotional time to have been privileged to volunteer at our local medical clinic to help distribute the COVID19 vaccinations to folks in our hometown. That meant getting the shot too. We are so grateful.

We wanted to celebrate, so, because we like Jimmy's Tavern & Grill we chose to reacquaint ourselves with this old friend! What a great choice!
(I'd like to say also that I have never worked in the restaurant business and really, really appreciate all the hard work, extraordinary hours and dedication it takes to stay in business just to feed us hoards of hungry Americans everyday!!)

OK, Major foody notes:
We had called ahead for reservations and had no problem being seated immediately even though we arrived a half hour early.
The mixed drink menu and selection of local draught beers is focused on quality, not quantity. So choosing is easy. I started with the 20 oz. Wormtown 'Be Hoppy' IPA, always a pleaser. My date had "The Wild Thing" a tequila mixed drink served in a mason jar - looked and tasted scrumptious!

We almost passed on dessert because we couldn't finish our meal. I took a chance and asked for the home-made carrot cake to take home with us. Was I in for a treat today!!! So moist, filled with fruity goodness and actual carrots (I detest the supermarket version of carrot cake which is really more of a spice cake - no carrots- and always a dry disappointment.) it was heavenly!
For a great break from the pandemic restaurant-fast get to Jimmy's when it's safe for you to do so. You will be happy you did!

Great food and service. Extremely friendly staff. They do a $5 burger every Monday with the purchase of a beverage. Should check it out.

Terrible waiting time to just sit down the good was good

Was only ok won't hurry back. Ordered the seasoned French fries as my side and the only seasoning was the salt I put on these awful frozen fries

The 5$ burger is a joke, you have to pay additional 3$ to get a drink otherwise you pay full price. I ordered burger which came almost burnt out and the fries were more of plastic sticks .... Not going there again and strongly I don't recommend. I lost 10$ in this place!!

The staff is very attentive! Bartenders are always smiling. Burgers delicious, I especially like the chicken burger! The Brussel Sprouts are one of my favorites! They have specials all the time, one being prime rib egg rolls ! They are delicious! They should add them to the menu permanently !!
