The never tried to take an initial payment til 3 months after they issued my insurance then cancelled it for nonpayment.

And the reps are so rude.

Not helpful at all, double payment to begin with isn t first and last payment like everywhere else it s a down payment that they just keep, in order to switch payment dates you have to make an extra payment. They won t help make things easier in any way and if you try to call them they don t even try to be helpful

Absolutely disgusted by the way they have treated my family! In january we got a letter in the mail from Jevco stating they were going to cancel our policy, id we didn't make our payment in 2 weeks (which we had already made), which the letter had the a cheque attached addressed to us in the amount we "owed" them. Our broker had no information about any of this until we called her, they reinstated our policy. Febuary comes along and they fail to take our payment out. March comes around and they demand a double payment, they failed to take the payment out on the day they said they would, so when they went to take out the payment it bounced, (due to another payment coming out for something else). Now we have until April 23rd, to make the double payment AND a 50$ NSF fee. My broker asked them to revoke the NSF fee but Jevco refuses to do so. Although, the reason all this happened is THEIR FAULT. 100% would NEVER recommend this company to ANYONE especially not friends or family. Absolutely disgusted by the service. So excited to sign somewhere else come June. Bye bye, Jevco.

I am a young driver that bought a old used cheap car thinking I could fix it up cheap and use it, I m saying this so it s understood I don t have that much money. I got the cheapest insurance that I could find at the time. I was rushing Insurance so I could drive the used car to a mechanic to get it safety. Unfortunately the car didn t pass it s safety, there for I can t drive the car. I had the insurance less then a week I did not even use it. Now they are forcing me to pay a 500$ canceling fee. I tried to talk to everyone I could at Javco and they refused to help at least lower the fee. You would think in a pandemic where people are losing there jobs and even rent has some leeway a insurance company that did absolutely nothing for me in under days would be a little more helpful. DO NOT GET INSURANCE FROM JAVCO! They are just stealing from people.

I got their insurance through a broker and they raise my insurance when I got into a car accident that I was fighting my ticket cuz I didn't think it was right but they still Mark that it was my fault and then they want they took money out of the bank before I even knew about it they took more than what they were supposed to and then now they cancel my insurance non-payment but them on trying to get other insurance is showing me that I had4 car accidents meanwhile I only had two accidents in one was it wasn't even an accident but it wasn't my fault and they put the one accident down us twice to make it look look out 4 accidents how stupid is that

I Spoke with Graham today, I work in customer service so i get what these other guys are saying for sure; but this guy was dope so helpful and patient, making this experience a pleasant one, it could have been and, has been awful dealing with other companies. January 1 2020 they proceeded to take payment for what would have been new policy if I had stayed with them. Refund was supposed to be sent in 1 week to 10 days today makes 10 buisness days and nothing. 500 dollars just stolen from my account right after christmas holidays

These people are crooks. I relocated from outside of the Toronto area into the city and did not expect my monthly premiums to double. My renewal date was mid March and paid up till April then I cancelled and got hit with a 1500.00 cancelation of policy fee, Jevco won't answer my questions and direct me to my broker, my broker can't answer and direct me to Jevco, they are the pinnacle of thievery AND STRONGLY ADVISE you throw your cash elsewhere!

Ive been with jevco for 2.5 years and its been a good experiance i got insurance from them through a broker (thinkinsure.ca) Jevco was the only company that gave me insurance when no one else would (i was test driving a car i wanted to buy and the guy told me it was all good and it didnt have insurance and i got pulled over and got a driving without insurance ticket/fine ) they gave me a amazing rate 270$ a month (i live in brampton and o was 23 at the time) i highly recommend them to peolpe is a similar situation, i dont know about the other reviews but ive had a good experience, im actually sad they are dropping me because i am no longer high risk

I was surprised to read so many poor reviews - my experiences were positive. My rates were high but that was a reflection of being in a high-risk insurance category. I was with Jevco for about 4 years, and saw decreases annually in my premium costs. I had someone hit me in my first year with them, and they were supportive throughout the repairs and with arranging rentals. I'm no longer with them, as my driving record is now clean but I would recommend them to anyone who needs that category of insurance.

Terrible and indifferent service. Delay, delay, delay.
My no fault accident left me without a rental car for two weeks while waiting a month for a claims rep from Jevco to evaluate. My car was buried in snow on the side of a roadway for that month. Too add insult to my loss, my broker renewed my insurance with them again for the year. They tried to claw back my settlement.

Absolutely dreadful experience. I had to go with Jevco because I had 2 accidents on my record and my other insurance company dropped me. They raised my insurance over $100 when they renewed it the policy in September. I called and canceled the insurance in November because I sold my car. They never canceled it and tried to take more money out of my account. I spoke with a rep around Christmas and advised that I had canceled it. Sent the transfer paperwork and everything showing t was no longer in my name. They demanded a copy of the new owners insurance paperwork, which I refused as it s not mine to give. They then demanded that I pay for the months of December and January since they didn t officially cancel it when I requested and it took until January. They advised me to pay and then they would refund me. When I refused to pay until they provided a detailed explanation as to the charges, they ignored my request and continued to berate me. I finally caved and tried to pay it, but the payment was returned. I advised them but no one returned my email. Then I got calls from a collection agency. I would not recommend this company at all. Their customer service leave much to be desired.

33% of yearly charge to cancel my plan. unexpected direct payments of up to 552$ taken from my account to reduce yearly fees and as a high risk charge with no explanation, high rates, also I do not feel they will cover me if i ever have anything happen to me or to my vehicle because of terrible customer support (their automated service is terrible!). I am a student at Niagara College and I can barely afford my books and tuition. Using my car to get to school and work with THIS specific insurance company has been a total nightmare and has put me further in debt with school loans and other bills I have to pay to stay on my own. Please do not fall for the same trap here that I did, they are 100% a scam.

Update. They also charged me past my overdraft limit by 200$ after I cancelled my membership. Do not trust this company!!

I was rear-ended by an 18-wheeler, police determined no fault on my end.

-Took 6 phone calls to Jevco for them to finally note down the police incident number.

-Was told right away it was a write-off. When I asked how much I would get for a new vehicle I was told they could not say until inspecting my car (huh? So how did they determine it was a write-off?)

-Took 2 months to finally approve repairs. Never coordinated with the rental company.

-My adjuster, and I will gladly name her: Deborah Jones was rude, dumb as a brick, and her customer service "skills" included laughing at me when she could hear my frustration over the phone.

Can not wait to switch to another company come May.

They tried screwing me over on a not at fault rear end collision, trying to claim some damages were caused by aftermarket parts that were located MILES away from the damages.
