My car was stolen last year and and a few months later someone broke into it and some valuables were taken. My car parked at my place was protected as apart of my policy. I presented my police report, receipts and any photos I had. The orderal originally took about 6 weeks. 6 WEEKS! At this times they had Gahllagher Basset working thier claims. The service was awful. So much so, that I requested to work with a supervisor going forward and no longer work with the assigned "adjuster". She needed to adjust her attitude. To my suprise the supervisor was not much better. Once that was over, I reached out a few weeks later and sent receipts of the items I replaced as I was entitled to the depreciated value. I was notified that this third party no longer handled Jetty's claims and that they handled everything in house. I was stoked, thinking that this process would be quick and simple.Wrong. First of all, it took over a week and several phone calls to start the process. The original adjuster Karina never responded to me. She was the one that told me what to send. My new adjuster was named Courtney S. after I sent him the requested documentation I waited about a week and then emailed him. He told me that they were wrapping up the claim and sending a check. This whole process began on January 9th. Today is February 9th and I have yet to be compensated. January 21st is when I was told that a check would go out the following day. Three days after the day I was originally told.( I was told several lies) With that, I asked if the check could be overnighted. They said no. Fine. I finally got the check on the 31st and deposited it into my account via my credit unions app like I always do. everything was done now right? WRONG. The next day I was informed by my credit union that the check had been reversed out of my account because it was made payable to a business account. These dip****s sent me a check made payable to Jetty Insurance. WOW. I called Courtney right away and he argued with me "No ma'am, the check was made out to you." I was infuriated. I sent him a copy of the check and the notice from the credit union. I literally sent him the information via email while we were on the phone. He never apologized for essentially calling me a liar. He told me that he would need to look into the error and contact me later. I asked if he would be able to overnight the check this time due to the inconvenience. He said that they didn't have the "capability." Excuse me? How do you not have the capability to overnight a check? I am a regular a** individual and I can do it. He then said that he would contact his supervisor and get back to me. A few days later they were magically "capable" of overnighting my check. Thats what I thought. This was a week ago. Do I have a check? No. I called a few more times, even requesting to speak to the supervisor who was conveniently in a meeting. The receptionist took my name and number and let me know that I would get a call that day. I did not. Apparently Courtney was out of the office Monday Feb 3rd which is when the check was supposed to go out. I called him Tuesday and he told me that a check would go out and that he would send me a tracking number. I gave it two more days. By this point I had lost it. I went ham and cheese on him, whoever answered the phone, whoever. I didn't care. I still don't. This is absolutely absurd. I followed up in an email about the tracking number. Courtney replied that they had to reach out to their vendor for a tracking number. Scratches head. A vendor? What in the world? Yes I used profanity in the last email because at this point I am seething, and rightfully so. I have been lied to over and over again and constantly disregarded and unappreciated as a customer. I worked in insurance for 2 years. I cut many, many checks from my desk and there was was no such vendor. I cut the checks, printed them, sent them. Jetty as a raggedy joke. They are are no insurance company the only things that they can ensure are headaches and added stress.
