On the back of the unpretentious Jericho Beach Sailing Club this spot virtually hangs over the water and serves up a fair selection of food. The nachos plate..appx $20..is enough to feed a hungry crowd. Wash it down with cold berr or a selection of al. non. Drinks. Kids welcome to the umbrella shielded dining deck.

Absolutely Awful Food

Absolutely Awful Food
Completely Overpriced & Chef Unqualified & Rude, as well as the owner operator incredibly arrogant, defensive, disrespectful!!! Chamber of Commerce Vancouver plus Vancouver Coastal Health SHOULD INSPECT THE Yeiks' Kitchen & facility ( which would have great potential!!! With God's Reputable Professional Gastronomic Management!)
Certainly Won't t recommend this spot to my International Group of Friends!
Unfortunately so, since the Location is wonderful! Needs New Competent Professional Restaurateur' Urgently!

Pleasant little joint on the waterfront. Fish and chips were good but the slaw was boring. Tried the tortillas and guac which was pretty yummy. Staff were nice and the manager came and shared pleasantries with us a few times. Very welcoming. I would make a point of going back

Lots of bunnies.

Lots of bunnies.
Bunny heaven.

Please be mindful they are shy and if you decide to free them, please bring bananas, fruits or vegetables!

I see many people feeding bunnies junk food, that's no good.
They are really shy too, crouch and approach slowly, don't just run up to them!

Love thy bunnies!

An expensive self serve dive of a restaurant located two floors up and 30 feet from the shore with a view of the north shore mountains and jerrico beach sailing lessons.
Not always the right choice but sometimes it's perfect!

The center provides different courses, kayaking, canoeing, sailing, windsurfing, and etc.my nephew attended summer camp held by MACSAILING, the courses pare great and teachers are nice.

The view of the center is spectacular; however, I was told that I am not allowed to take pictures only if I get the landowner s permission.

Great place to sail, kayak, windsurf, or paddle board from. Rentals and lessons are available from the businesses there. A few sailing clubs operate from it too. They also serve food and drinks, and the patio is one of the best in the city. So it's a nice spot to just hangout at too.

I attended Jericho sailing Centre when I was a Sea Cadet. Started my love for sailing here. Visited the surrounding area recently and the centre still caters to many levels, abilities and ages. From young kids learning to sail, to seasoned sailors use the centre on a daily and weekly basis. I believe they still offer summer camps and sailing classes. The area they bis for sailing is a prime area. With relatively shallow waters, the launch ramp and beach are protected from high winds by the jetty and public dock where lots of people can be found crabbing or fishing. The sailing takes place nearby, with exposure to great winds. On weekends, one can find several classes out on the water or large red attar taking over the bay. It is expensive (for me) but then again, sailing isn't exactly a cheap sport. If you are looking into learning to sail or want your kid (s) involved in sailing, I definitely recommend Jericho.

Just completed the CanSail One course with the sailing club - great instructors, very approachable and calm. Helped me feel confident and capable even when the wind picked up and conditions became more challenging!

About Jericho Sailing Centre Association

Jericho Sailing Centre Association: Vancouver's Ocean Access Community Centre

The Jericho Sailing Centre Association (JSCA) is a non-profit organization located in Vancouver, Canada. It was established in 1974 with the aim of promoting and facilitating water-based activities for the community. The JSCA is situated on the shores of English Bay, at the foot of Discovery Street, and it offers access to some of the best sailing waters in North America.

The JSCA is a unique facility that caters to sailors, paddlers, rowers, windsurfers, kiteboarders and other ocean enthusiasts. It provides a safe and welcoming environment for people of all ages and skill levels to enjoy recreational activities on the water. The centre has over 1,000 members who come from all walks of life and share a passion for ocean sports.

One of the key features that sets JSCA apart from other sailing centres is its location. Situated at one end of Jericho Beach Park, it offers easy access to some of Vancouver's most beautiful beaches as well as stunning views across English Bay towards Stanley Park. The centre also benefits from being close to several popular restaurants and cafes which makes it an ideal spot for post-sailing socializing.

In addition to its prime location, JSCA boasts an impressive range of facilities including boat storage areas (both indoor and outdoor), changing rooms with showers and lockers as well as classrooms for training courses. There are also several boat rental options available including kayaks, canoes, stand-up paddleboards (SUPs), windsurfing boards and dinghies.

For those looking to improve their skills or learn something new altogether there are plenty of opportunities available through JSCA's training programs which cater to both beginners and advanced sailors alike. These courses cover everything from basic safety procedures through advanced racing techniques so there really is something for everyone.

Another great aspect about JSCA is its commitment towards environmental sustainability. As an organization that relies heavily on natural resources such as wind and water they understand how important it is to protect these resources for future generations. They have implemented several initiatives aimed at reducing their carbon footprint such as using solar panels on their roof which generate electricity used throughout the facility.

Overall Jericho Sailing Centre Association provides an exceptional experience not only for those who love ocean sports but also anyone looking for a fun day out by the beach with friends or family members! With its prime location combined with top-notch facilities & training programs plus commitment towards environmental sustainability make this place truly unique among other sailing centers around North America!
