Great sailing center: several clubs, it is where I learned to sail. I always found it very well organized with affordable pricing. Food and the patio is only part of their mission. Great views, food so so.

Access to sailing clubs, boat storage and launch area for boats. Hosts races a couple evenings a week during the summer. Great beach front pub to cap it all off and watch the sunset over English Bay, North Shore Mountains, and Sunshine Coast.
Amazing place. Very inexpensive to store a kayak or sailing dingy etc. The grill upstairs is great too. JSC IS One of the best places in Vancouver. Full stop.

Unpretentious, egalitarian and kind: "Vancouver's Ocean Community Centre" - that says it all, really.
JSCC has ansolutely set and maintained the standard for the Vancouver area in their unwavering COVID protocols:
- members & guests, paddleboar/kayak rentals and diners at The Galley all enter the site by seperate gates, personal contact information is recorded, hand-washing stations are scattered throughout the centre, masks are worn at all times, and in addition to the usual protocols, everyone is instructed to "be kind".
Great place to go sailing . . . Or have beer and sandwich (on their patio grill place). . . And watch sailors worshipping the wind. . . (I'd have rated it 5 if they had charged me just a little less for food and drink )

I love sailing here a ton. I take lessons here, and have for several years. The restaurant is great for mac and cheese, and has a great ice cream bar. But sailing is probably the larger feature. I have taken Cansail 1-3, the Escape course and the Opti course (not in chronological order).
The lessons have great staff, small groups and provide amazing boats. There is a steady stream of volunteers that help out every morning and throughout the day. You can take morning, afternoon, evening and weekend lessons. <( )>
Jericho Sailing is one of the hidden gems of Vancouver. In a city of super trendy overpriced tourist traps, Jericho has somehow managed to hold off the condo developers and greedoids who would turn this place into an exclusive yacht club or something similar. A great place for a quiet day on the water, tinkering with a small boat or just hanging out and enjoying the ocean.
Best sailing club. Super low key, a gem in the city.
Beautiful Jerico Beach, perfect for family picnic, jogging, Kayaking etc.fresh air and beautiful scenery.
Great lunch as always, despite the smoke-filled sky. Staff here is absolutely amazing and you can't beat the massive tiger twist ice cream cone.
