It's a cute boardwalk. Doesn't have as many fun things compared to seaside but it's well maintained and still a good time

Loved this place as a kid and as an adult it still stands. Great place to go with friends.

New policy, apparently, that if you haven't paid to get onto the beach before 5PM, you CANNOT get on afterward. They turn people away saying "beach is closed". It ruined our day.

Fun, fun, fun..even though its winter the arcade is open. Brought my children and grandchildren there. Friendly staff.My daughter was happy to win 35,000 bonus points playing Sponge Bob game. Yes, she got all the cards. Always nice to walk the boardwalk at night. Fresh ocean air, cool ocean breeze. We have been going to Jenkinsons for years and will continue to go for many more

Family oriented. Been going there since a boy, over 60 years.

If it's not peak season, I enjoy walking here. but less store is open. If you like to hang out at bar or restaurant, it would be fun to come in peak season.

Small town feel and fun board walk. The beach is great and the board walk has rides and games and good food. Great for the family that's looking for all the beach fun without the craziness of bigger beaches.

Fun times for families, but overpriced and it's really difficult to fine accurate information about prices, hours, etc.

I had a great time at the point Pleasant Beach this weekend. Loads of fun activities to do. I enjoyed exploring all the attractions by the Jenkinson s boardwalk such as the amusement park, the aquarium different restaurants . I recommend to all locals and tourists.

Fun for the kids but expensive. We went off season and parking wasn't too bad. They don't charge off season for the kids to play on the beach.

My three year old can't get enough of the train ride!

The rides are mainly for smaller children. Clean, not very big, and not very packed makes it a fun quick night if you don't want to be around the hordes of the big boardwalks further south.

Great family beach and boardwalk. The aquarium is a great place for kids.

They had many food options and fun games. The beach right off the boardwalk was also quite nice.

It's a bit overrated and over crowded these days but it earned that and it's still really good.

Part of the fun of being at the shore. They have the aquarium, amusement park, and lots of other activities. When you want a change of pace walk towards the inlet and watch the boats go in and out. The walk is fun with the unusual and charming homes that are right on the beach.

Love taking a walk on the boardwalk and stopping ing the restaurants, aquarium, and arcades, etc. Crowded somw days and not others.. Don't likw that they charge for the beach 3 weeks before Memorial Day.

There is ticket scam going on !! They ticket your cars even when you clearly pay the meters Be cautious when in public parking!

Great place for singles, couples and families food, shopping and entertainment.

Clean with a good mix of carnival food & vacation beach homes. There are an incredible amount of police though which made me wonder how save it was...

I've never been overly enthused with this boardwalk. Unless it's overpriced like Martell's restaurant! I think point pleasant is all to expensive.

I've been going to Point Pleasant and Jenkinson's boardwalk for over 30 years, always a good time and good boardwalk experience.

One of the guard at the beach's gate was very rude to us and different staff gave us different information that ruined our visit to the beach.

Beach provide lifeguard facility till 5:30pm, and they charge $9 or 10 for the entry in the beach area. I was wondering that they even charged entry fee to customer who entered at 5:25pm.

Actually, we asked the lady at the ticket counter whether entry is free after 5:30pm and she clearly said yes, but there would be no lifegaurd. We thought it would make sense to wait for 20mins and that's how we can avoid the entry fee. What's the point in paying when there is no lifeguard facility after 5:30pm. At 5:30pm when we tried to enter through the gate, security guard stopped us from entering. He said beach is closed, but beach was almost full and people were still going in. We mentioned that the lady at the ticket counter said that we can enter in the beach area after 5:30pm, but that guy didn't agree. He replied you might have asked at some other day. Clearly, that was not a straight answer. I said your staff provided us some other information just 20mins back. Else we could have paid the entry fee and entered the beach before 5:30pm. I asked him that nowhere it's even written or mentioned that beach closes at 5:30pm and asked him to show me the rule book or signboard that prohibits entry after 5:30pm. That security guard got very furious and said let me take off my sun glasses and show you the rule. It was threatening and provocative stance. He walked a step towards me and started straight looking into my eyes... and said what I am saying that's the rule. (i think he watches lot of Hollywood action films), so it was an immature behavior. Security guard had clearly no skills in dealing with public and handle the situation in a diplomatic manner.

I work for the government and hold a good influence in Trenton in many law enforcement departments. I think I should have escalated this issue to the management of the beach and taught a lesson to that guard. People treat and talk like this to others when they feel that others are weak and they can control them by force, even if others are behaving in a civil manner. Guard's furious behavior was unnecessary. instead of taking the responsibility of the other staff member who gave us wrong info, he clearly sidelined himself. Only losers try to get away from the joint responsibility in an organisation or a team because it's a easy way. Maybe management is mature and sensitive and care for its customers, but that guard was clearly not. what if someday this guard hit someone and Jenkinson's beach management ends up settling multi million lawsuit with a victim. I am giving one star for this experience and I hope management will at least provide some training and equip with the rule books to these security guard, so that they can put forward the written rules instead of arguing and behave like this to the visitors.

Great place for kids. Nice and clean. Games are more reasonable than Seaside.

It's really fun and they have amazing icecream that you can't find anywhere else!!

I found Point Pleasant Beach clean and accommodating. The beach was large enough serve many beach goers. Lifeguards were visible. Food, portion sizes, and customer service were good. Look forward to returning next year!

A great place for the Jersey Shore experience. Good food, fun games, the beach and the ocean air. Highly recommended.
