I wish I could give this apartment complex 0 stars.. I live here now and I am planning to move out soon, this place is horrible! Terrible maintenance, outdated appliances, NO MICROWAVE OF WASHER AND DRYER, constantly turning the water on and off throughout the day without warning. They never send out any email or letters to keep you updated. Lighting issue in my apartment one night and I put in emergency maintenance because I had no heat and no lights it was freezing cold that night, all they kept asking me is have I reached out to entergy and entergy came TWICE. Maintenance didn t come until the next day in the afternoon. Really poor place and SUPER OVER PRICED!!!!!!!

RUN FAR AND FAST!! THESE PPL HAVE NO CONSIDERATION FOR YOUR TIME! TOOK 3WEEKS JUST TO PROCESS MY APPLICATION AND NO THEY NEVER CALL BACK! U HAVE TO CONSTANTLY CALL THEM!!!

haven't had a working dishwasher for 2 years, Leaky ceiling still hasn't been fixed from when I FIRST MOVED HERE. I requested to fix a hole in the wall in February of this year....Its now AUGUST!!! This is actually the worst two years I've spent at an apartment complex.....definitely not worth the damn rent......paying 650+ and alot of things needed to be done for the past 2 years and NOTHING.......

I use to live here as a child years ago and it was lovely. now it is horrible the management the office staff and maintenance crew ALL need customer service classes. these apartments are bogus as hell. outdated appliances, paper thin walls i can hear everything going on in my neighbors home. like my 2nd night here i tried to get a pizza delivered and they told me they cant deliver here bc its high risk.ROACHES from day one when i moved here the big ones and small .and they said that i would have to spray myself when everything in my house was brand new that i brought here. they dont fix anything and quick to evict.everything in the apartment is falling the hell apart. my air is always broke. i have to put in 3 orders for them to finally send somebody to fix the problem. the police are always here ive been waken up many nights with gun fire outside my window and ive only been here 3 months. my car has been tampered with by the hoodrats that live in the back of the complex. this place is horrible i will not recommend it to satan. run far away as you can. do not live here. this was a huge ass mistake!

This place deserves a negative 5 stars. I just moved in here a month ago and have not had any of my request fulfilled. I have 2 leaks in my bathroom which I have called multiple times about and put in 7 maintenance request since the day I moved in on August 1st. I called the office recently and was put on hold for over 30 minutes. There is obvious signs of mold because of the leaking and don t even get me started on the roaches and gnat infestation. The staff is friendly in the office but I m convinced they have no idea what goes on inside the apartments. If you are thinking of moving here, do yourself and your health a favor and find a better place. I ll be waiting for the automatic response where you pretend that you care and tell me to call if I have concerns.

If there was a way to put NEGATIVE star i will. They are really rude and do not care about people.made us wait a week for no reason. Their office put you in a 30 min hold on the phone. Do NOT move int there.

They put an eviction on my credit report and I paid rent all the time on time and when I was there one of the ladies didn't like me told me to sign this paper and I thought it was too forward my depositshe screwed me and said that I left the apartment a mess why would I do that if I had paid the rent on time all the time and they did nothing to help me don't move in there SP

The WORST apartments I have ever lived in, and I've lived in some sh*tty ones. I moved in two weeks ago. Upon move in, we noticed a great deal of issues with these $650 apartments. Inches thick dust on the vents, nails sticking out of the cabinet drawer, roaches crawled in everywhere including the fridge AND our bed, ghetto neighbors who watch your every move, etc. A week and a half after moving in a $100+ dollar package we got delivered was stolen while we were gone for only 4 hours. The cops stated this is one of the highest crime apartments in the area. BEWARE. And they take section 8, so while you pay $650 a month for your one bedroom, the other tenants who are all of a certain race get their's paid for by the government. Thank God we are getting out of here in two weeks, we lasted a whole month. I have to leave a gun by my bedside to protect myself for now...

8 days ago my husband and I went to apply in this apt. We gave all our personal documents, deposit, and the "background" verification charge. today I tell my husband to call because it is rare that they do not call to say if we qualify to live in this place and the very cheeky tell us that you do not qualify because my husband charges a lot of money (which is little) this is not supposed to Do you verify it before applying? Is it really that they want to steal money from us? I'm going to open a case today

the front entrance and when you keep straight and come around in the circle alot of young black men by in a large group from sun up to sun down but its pretty quiet other than that they post up likes its a hood yall need a sheriff to be back there ..they be back there by the park area by the dumpster in the cornor and by building 22-28 they sell drugs back there

Horrible maintenance, bad electric problems. Trash all over the grounds. Outdated appliance, Constantly turning the water off in the evenings and mornings without warning. They enter your home without even leaving a note behind. The police are always being called out for disturbances. Section 8 along with the management really brought down this property which was once a nice place to stay.

I moved in towards the beginning of 2017. When I first met the people in the office I noticed how they were willing to fit whatever needed to be done. They keep It clean over here no matter the difficulty. Most apartments around Baton Rouge have difficulty maintaining services due to their micro management. This place gives you the opportunity to begin somewhere in a rural area at fair price. I've since grown to love it here.

I been here 5 fives now and had no problems with old with the maintenance, but these new maintenance people act like they don t want to fix nothing! They fix my leak but they never came back to put the sheet rock back up now, I have no ceiling on top my bath tub and toilet it s just horrible I pay my rent on time and the maintenance person said she was gonna come back in 24 hours to put my sheet rock back up but she never came and its been like a week now

Horrible. From floor up to floor down. Kids constantly knocking on doors running away. The staff there is very very rude. Unless you come there with that rent money. Always so many people blocking the stairway, you can't even get passed

One star again once again my Seiling needs to be repair and they know housing Authority giving then until Friday and I been coming to the office this week alone I need to owner to reach out to me ASAP

I love where I live. I've been here a very long time and I've seen a lot of things change through different management companies. I must say that things don't get fixed as quickly as they should but all of the staff works very hard. We have a lot of apartments here. I went to the office the other day and the office staff treated me like family. I love Jefferson Lakes. T

This apartments need to be torn down and the manager Angela is a very nasty attitude person.i am gonna report them to the Dept of housing .the worst complex I ever seen

The people in the office is very friendly and nice. What I don't like is when you need things fix in your apartment maintenance does not come to fix it at all. They are horrible. I have been waiting for things to get fixed for 8months now.

The office staff and management is VERY HORRIBLE AND RUDE to the tenants here. When you go inside an address a problem YOU never talked with the MManager The office always says she's in a meeting They dont live so they don't care. Ive had issue with lights tthat's on the outside s VERY DARK IN THE WHOLE SECTION!!! The maintenance crew dont do a damn thing but GET HIGH ON THE CLOCK. I wouldn't recommend anyone to live here. This place is Horrible

The staff and maintenance crew don't do their jobs at all!! I have been living here since September 2016. The day I moved in I reported what IS wrong with my unit and they still have yet to fix the problems. All they are concerned about is the rent payment. My family and I are flood victims and were living in a hotel and they knew this. It took me almost 2 months to move in my unit because no one there does their job correctly or in a timely manner. My dishwasher is still broken and the lights in my dining room still don't work, I have to put a lamp on just for my family to sit at our table and eat a meal. The maintenance men when they do decide to act like they are going to fix the problems(which they still have yet to fix anything) show up to your unit high and smelling like marijuana, they all are very unprofessional including the office staff!!!!! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO LIVE HERE!!! When my lease is up we are leaving this hell hole and never looking back. All these people do is give you the run around about fixing things. If they get rid of the entire staff and hire people that aren't lazy this place would be a better place.

I have lived here for 3 years and never been late in paying my rent. But yet I can't get anything repaired in my apartment. I placed a maintenance order on July 2, 2018 because I have no running water coming from the sink in the bathroom in the master bedroom and still 5 weeks later still no water. I placed another maintenance order on August 3 for the same issue and on August 6, I walked over to the office to inquire about what will it take to get the issue resolved. I was told that someone would come over to see what's going on. It is now August 11, 2018 and no one has been over here. Jefferson Lake Apartments is really not a bad place to live, but, it has the potential to be an awesome place to live if they can just take of the maintenance issues and the up keep of the property. The office staff seem to get better but maintenance crew just get worse.

Trifling people all around me. Office staff is not worth a Damn!

I wish I could put no stars. I moved here in October and I have had issues with the air condition. They had to come in to fix a leak on multiple occasions. Which is still not fixed. I have mushrooms growing out of my wall and mold all over the dining and kitchen area. I emailed them today about the mushrooms and mold and no air. No response. It's usual staying here. They don't know how to treat their residents. I wonder how long it will take to fix the problem this time. I have two small kids and they are constantly with sinus issues because of the living conditions. I'm going to get a lawyer and let them handle this problem. But I know if I don't pay my rent there will be a problem and they will walk their lazy ass over here to put a notice on my door. Looks like all they do is issues out apartments and cake their faces up with makeup. I'm so sick of this place.

Move in not to long ago and this is the worst place to live period I have put in multiple work orders and talk to the maintenance man personally and all they do is lie about they coming to fix something and never show up to fix anything so my advice to anyone looking to move here save your time and money

THE MAINTENANCE CREW SUCKS. MY BEDROOM LIGHT FIXTURE HAS BEEN BROKEN GOING ON THREE MONTHS NOW. MY BATHROOM PIPE IS LEAKING WATER IN MY CABINET. PEST CONTROL COMES WHEN THEY WANT TO. AAAHHHH!!!!!

I live here now, and it is HORRIBLE, I'm still waiting for things to get fixed from 2 year's ago, I thought the new management would have been better, but nope, it has gotten worse, crime is worse, and the maintenance crew don't even wear uniforms, unless you don't have another option DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!!

I rated them a five because , they dont know what going through before you walk in there office, ONLY THING THEY KNOW IS YOU NEEDS A PLACE TO STAY... THEY WOULD TRY AND DO EVERYTHING TO GET YOU A PLACE TO STAY!!! This one PLACE that loves there COMMUNITY!!! Yeah we have some problems but what FAMILY DON'T...Even the tenants is great we look out for each other too!!! There my go to, deeply APPRECIATE YALL

I applied for an apartment at Jefferson Lakes and had a hiccup for inaccurate information reported on my credit report. I collected all of the proof from the court and had it all notarized and hand delivered. The reporting agency On-site that this apartment complex uses would not accept it nor remove the information due to the standards set by the apartment. Although Andrew, the leasing agent said the documents were acceptable no one under this "NEW" management company was willing to call the reporting agency as they requested to confirm that the documents were in fact acceptable. Andrew knew I was displaced due to a storm and was trying to push this application through because I was literally homeless. He pretended as if he would help but when I would call he only gave lip service and no action. I called to withdraw my application and he said it would take 30 days to get my deposit back although I gave him a signed blank money order to prevent me having to wait thirty days to return it. The lies were ridiculous.

Wish I could give no because I been here 8 yrs good place to live but the office and mantince team is horrible I have seen so many mangement and mantince team come and go I been with out air for 2 days and they don't care because they sitting under air and have air at they house but let me be a day late in rent they putting a eviction notice on your door but don't want to fix nothing sad mangement team they need to get a whole nother crew from the office to mantince wish I could get in touch with the owner so I can let them know how they mangement team is doing I'm

My experience at Jefferson lakes has been horrible I am a flood victim me and my mother and the management over this apartment need to get their company and business straight cause from the time I moved in I been having problems and yet have the problems been fixed! But yet they will want their money for rent though that all they really want is the money have the us living any type of way this is against the law for the company to have us paying rent and have us living any type of way like it took forever for them to get someone to fix my sink that was like two weeks ago n I been complaining since I moved in I been having to wash dishes wit hot water and then thing on top of the roof spinning is knocking and I can hear that loud noise in my house I have to have my tv up loud to cover up the sound yet can still hear the knocking noise. Then to turn around my light outside my door need to be change on the patio and outside my front door and to top it off tonite I have no water in my apartment but yet I know they are going want their money for went on the first though I can't wait to get out this hell hole all this apartment is about is money cause the maintenance don't do nothing and the people in the office don't either this is a sad place to live!!!!
