I have been on both sides of the spectrum with Jan-Pro and have seen nothing but exceptional work done by exceptional people. I have no doubt in my mind that this company will continue to thrive and grow each year.

I have time or had always worked for another company or people doing cleaning jobs for a salary, but I learned about this company Jan-Pro and it changed my life because now I work on my own and I am my own boss and they pay me mostly Very good but even better because I share my work with my family, that is, they are part of my work team, they work with me. Thanks to Jan-Pro I have managed to prosper and God Thank you also, my experience with this wonderful company has been Excellent, I highly recommend Jan-Pro, if you like cleaning or need cleaning services do not think about it, think of Jan-Pro , go to Jan-Pro.

Few months ago I came in to Jan Pro and had a interview with the owner in a group owner says I have to wait 14 days because it s the law to make my final decision about opening a cleaning business with Jan Pro so then after 14 days I decided to make my decision to open a business with Jan Pro i gave the owner the check in the end of March and a week later passed by I have got no response from the owner not even a email of a contract. I decided to call him multiple of times for the past few days even weeks and even emailed him but no answer no email at all by beginning of April the owner finally sent me a contract to sign but I decided not to sign it because if he s not answering the phone calls or emails. The owner thought i signed the contract but again I did not sign it so I m the end of April I told him by text saying I m not doing business with you because I did not sign the contract you have not responded over the weeks I have called you numerous of times and even email you no response I have wasted a lot time and money just waiting for you! so then the owner gave me back my money but I will never do business with Jan Pro ever again after this happened!

I had good experience with Jan-pro so far so good I would say if you want to start a business you should start with jan-pro.

Not responsive when you need help. We have a 5-day per week agreement but the management will not answer your calls when your cleaning crew fails to arrive for work. Carlos, Tulane and Brushaud! Can you please return my calls? Mario

Horrible company to do business with. This company has a contract that is very difficult to get out of. This company did our cleaning in an office and ruined our floors. Had to hire a floor specialist to come and correct the problem (which cost us more money). They used some kind of chemical on the floors and would not admit to their error. They would not mop well and at one point one of the staff members stated "do you expect us to get on our hands and knees to clean your floors?" I did not expect this, but did expect clean floors. They would not dust well and left spider webs in our office. This company also left very foul smelling wet mops in our janitor closet which could be smelled throughout the office. We discontinued their service and then hesitated to bring our keys back to us. Had to threaten calling the police. Poor--Poor service and very aggravating. I would not recommend this company to my worse enemy!! Please think twice before calling this company!! I would not give them 1 star on my review!!!

Any issues that we have ever had with cleaning or service, we address it with them and it gets corrected. I think that's what makes a company a good company is by addressing any issues head on. They clean well; the current gentleman that cleans our office is trustworthy and competent. We've had them for maybe 5 years now and we had a hiccup about 4 years ago with the person that cleaned our office. I won't go into details of it, but they took care of the problem expeditiously and we haven't had a problem since.

Any franchise has its ups and downs. To have a franchise with Janpro requires a lot of effort and work sometimes without so much pay. In the long term it is a very good investment ...

I started with the company this year and they have great opportunities available for people who are looking to start their own business. They offer easy financing options to help get you started especially for veterans. Owners are knowledgeable and make sure you have the tools you need to succeed

We have been using them for about a year. I was not in charge of this account with our company until recently. As I looked into it, it made since why our office space has always been so dirty. Theses people do not clean. I think they come in, vacuum, and take out the trash. Our bathrooms are so gross. The tile floors have probably never been touched, they are grimy and dark. Soap dispensers have goop and rust all over them. Break room tile, same as bathroom. Dirt accumulates in corners, dust accumulates in several places, tops of furniture, baseboards, etc.
Did I mention we have gone through TWO JanPro cleaning crews. We requested a new one after we noticed nothing was being cleaned properly. And the new crew? Just as bad.
As for JanPro and Customer Service? Nonexistent. I have Twice emailed photos of our nasty office the Day After a cleaning - requesting a repeat/free/makeup clean. JanPro told me "No" and instead offered "You only have a few months left on your contract, so there are only a few more cleans to get through" - wow.
We also had a "Special" done one time. A deep carpet cleaning that cost the same as 1-month of cleans. I did not see the results. I went to JanPro and they are demanding money for the carpet cleaning - even through I have thoroughly expressed my dissatisfaction with it. No offer to redo or make it up in another way.
So the cleanings have been bad. I recently asked for the cleanings to take place during work hours so that I could SEE what is going on. JanPro's response? "That will be a 20% increase in price"
This company is ridiculous.
Cathy Smith can not manage her cleaning crews and has no clue what customer service is.
Please stay away from JanPro.

I can t say enough about how great Jan Pro San Antonio is!! Every single person in the office is incredible, professional and so friendly!! If you need a great cleaning service please do yourself a favor and call them!

If it were possible to give negative stars that's what they would get. They are horrible. The lost keys too the toilet paper dispenser the first week and didn't inform anyone until our boss called complaining about the lack of cleaning and mess they leave behind. Have sent certified letter cancelling the contract and they just keep saying oh give us a chance and every week it's the same. Nothing clean TP never changed floors dirty streaked. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!!!!

Stay clear of the Jan Pro Establishment/ Business. I gave a down payment to start the business and the so called owner refused to give me and my friend a refund after we checked the reviews about the so called company. He dodged us constantly avoiding the truth and refusing to give us a refund. He said we should sell the business to get our money back. The contracts and staff are not legit. Start your own business and stay clear of this one. The complaints are recent and world wide. The Owner is a coward.

Jan Pro provides great service as well as business opportunities. They're wonderful.

Please please read the contract before signing. They write their contracts with plenty of loopholes so clients never get rid of them. All they do is throw the trash away, but they do not clean and sometimes they do not even vacuum. If they clean they only clean visible areas but it is obvious they do not touch areas with accumulated dust and hairs. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HORRIBLE OPERATION or you will be bound to work with them even if you do not want to work with them anymore.

Read the other negative reviews here. It's all true. Our experience was the same. The people come and do the bare minimum (if that) and leave as quickly as possible. It got to the point where we were leaving "test" messes to see if they would clean. They didn't. Even if you complain and they "switch crews" it will be more of the same. I think the problem is the business model. You are contracting with Jan-Pro sales. Then they give the job to one of their managers. (from level 1 to level 2) Then the manager gives the job to one of their independent franchisees. (From Level 2 to Level 3.) Then the independent franchisee who competes with other franchisees for crumbs from Jan pro, hires someone to clean for you. (From Level 3 to Level 4). That someone is probably going to "clean", or they may send a family member or friend. (Level 5?) I am not certain the last level isn't being exploited. I figure each level takes a percentage of what is paid to the actual person cleaning. The person doing the cleaning is probably overbooked and underpaid. They rush through your building ASAP only doing the visible minimum...in fear. because if you complain, it will be taken from them and given to someone else who is also overbooked and underpaid. I blame this on management and the business model. Run away. You are better off hiring an individual yourself. That way they get all the money and there is direct communication.

This was a great opportunity for me. I was looking to start something on my own. People have been very helpful and friendly since the beginning. They ve been there with me every step of the way. I would recommend it.
