Best place for affordable small live music concerts in the DMV. Tickets are always cheap, and bands are always great! This place always reminds me of the DC Rock and Roll hotel, but with actual parking on site

I haven't had anything to eat or drink here, but I did come here to see a concert - and I was impressed with the audio and the venue as a whole. Nice little place to come see a show.
Intimate feel for a small concert, excellent acoustics, and despite others' experience, reasonably good service for the numbers of people and the performance effects.
We are so lucky to have this live music venue in NOVA!! Fantastic music, great sound, super friendly vibe, good food and drinks, totally affordable ticket prices and the location is a great alternative to trekking into DC. No matter who you see, Jammin Java doesn't dissapoint!
Great concert venue with full restaurant menu and full bar. They get a great variety of musicians here with shows that you wouldn't often see in DC or at larger venues. One of my favorite spots to see a show!
I like these folks, 3 brothers Brindley who opened a music venue in the suburbs. It's a nice neighborhood family venue. See also their new venue, Union Stage at the Wharf.
We've been to many a concert here but recently they open South Bowl here. WE LOVE the Acai Berry Bowls that they have. My go to in the Nutella Bowl. First off you cannot beat nutella on anything but this combination with the acai berries is magical. The granola here is FABULOUS and I wish I could recreate it myself. You must try these.

Music is the focus of attention at Jammin Java and that's one of the many things that attracts me to this place. They have great acts coming to play there, it's always clean and there isn't a bad seat in the house! Oh the Java is great too! Rock on my friends!
I've been coming here as an attendee for many years. The staff has always been very kind and helpful and the atmosphere is unique and yet very familiar. The venue is very intimate with some of the best sound around and is comparable to much larger venues in this regard. The beer selection is solid for a small place, the coffee is amazing and their food is surprisingly good although not so surprisingly expensive. The last several years I have produced concerts in the area and it's always a thrill to get to put a show on at Jammin Java as we always love working with their incredibly knowledgeable and helpful staff.
Our first time here and we loved it so much! Don't listen to low reviewers, this place is doing an excellent job within COVID constraints, great food (pizza was delicious), awesome acts and fantastic service. The Comedy therapy act was the best comedy night we'd been too, highly recommend and we will absolutely be back!
An incompetent staff followed by an equally incompetent and rude manager made this just an awful first and only experience at this establishment. What should have been a great date night was ruined by the staff here. Messed up drink order, menu items missing, losing our dinner ticket(which they lied about and just said they were busy), 40 minutes for one entree and almost an hour for a salad. On top of that, the manager was rude and disrespectful to my wife when she complained about it. Not charging us for this didnt even come close to making up for all of that.
Great place to hear an intimate concert. We have seen a lot of young artists come through here that we ended up following for years. very fun atmosphere.
Nice, small concert venue that is a slog to get to from DC. If you're in the area though, prices for shows are reasonable, good (not great) beer list, and quality bar food (highly recommend the chili).
I stopped by for a quick caffeine kick but got pleasingly tickled with the options and extra clean eating choices. A playful back half for concerts and caffeine. GREAT place.
this place is always amazing, the staff is friendly, the service is great. Every time I've been I'm always greeted with a smile, and the food is good what more could you ask?!
What an unexpected gem! The place does not look like much from the outside - but inside, the employees are super-friendly, the food is good, and the best part...the sound! What a great sound system for an intimate club! Absolutely loved it.
Visited Jammin Java this snow day wonderful service and great Acai bowls! We got their chai latte and it was delicious, a bit sweet but you can taste the chai... unlike Starbucks.
Went to see Mike and Rusty. Promo on Facebook showed FREE! Got there and had to pay $25 pp! Seats are terrible, straight back. Freezing inside. Only thing on the menu was pizza, salad, fries. Mike and Rusty were wonderful, as usual. Hope we don't have to come back here to see them the next time they're up from Charlottesville!!
Great local music venue, awesome bands, including a variety of genres for all tastes. Table service available for the more intimate shows. Small venue allows for a more personal experience.
Went to see my friend play a gig here. It's a nice location with plenty of space to dance and friendly staff! Not sure about the drink prices as I didn't purchase anything.
They're bartenders are great during a show. I also didnt expect much from their food menu, but was pleasantly surprised. Get the flatbread pizza, it's great.
This place is adorable. Coffee, good food, live music. I'm so happy places like this exist. Wish there was one of these on every corner instead of a Starbucks.
Yes you heard that right... scammin Java. That is the name that all my friends and I refer this location to. The reason being is that I went to purchase a ticket at one of jammin Java shows which was only supposed to be for one ticket($20 fees included) When I looked at my bank statement I got charged for two different payments of $20 tickets... so a total of $40! I called a majority of times during opening times but no one answered. So then I decided to write the general manager Lana an email explaining my situation... She told that it wasn t an accident and they did that on purpose, apparently if you want to get into a show you have to buy 2 tickets. So when you buy 1 ticket of your knowledge and second charge will happen without you knowing. Lana was nice(that I thought of) and told me she would refund me for both tickets... it has been 3 days now and she still hasn t refunded me the tickets. I emailed her twice and asked when she s going to refund me, but suddenly Lana has been real quite. So then I tried calling the store multiple times again(during opening hours) and no one is answering! Because of this incident, which hasn t only happened to me. A lot of my friends and I refuse to support this business. On top of that I m good friends with a lot of the local bands, and at the moment 3 bands that I am friends with are soon pulling out from their shows due to poor quality business, and I m sure more of them will be soon! Another 2 bands that I am friends with that have played here before have told me if they get contacted to play at this location, they are going to deny the offer. On top of that the food is way too expensive for its quality worth... I would rather eat a Chuck E Cheese pizza or order from Little Caesars that eat at Jammin Java!
I took my 2 year old to go enjoy her birthday with a sing along group early Friday morning and she loved it. I feel like the drinks our little overpriced.
Went there a few days ago to check it out and was met by a very rude employee. Said she was a manager but I cannot believe this place could be successful with an attitude like that. I would never ever visit this venue just based on her bizarre treatment.
