Great organizer for whale and bear watching tours....

Great organizer for whale and bear watching tours. We did the bear-watching tour and loved it. The tour guide told interesting things about the area and the bears. If necessary, the tour will be extended a little if no bears have been sighted, which was not necessary with us, we saw black bears and seals during our tour.

it`s absolute wonderful to do a trip like this with such a professional company. the guides seems all to be nature lovers and know a lot about the area and the animals, and they are fantastic zodiac drivers, they know how to find the animals and gave time and silence just to enjoy, we were the only boat, i felt so perfect, thank you guys!

May 27 at 17:00 on board. In addition to seals, about 6 black bears have been seen including mothers with two young ones. A fantastic experience totally worth the money. Great after the very disappointing experience at Blue River Safari.

They were great when me and my girlfriend went. It was a trip of a lifetime and I recommend them to everyone who travels west coast British Columbia. They took safety seriously and prepared us well with safety briefings before we boarded and during our journey. Our prayers go out to all of those affected by the recent tragedy.

Absolutely friendly service. Knowledgeable. Cool office, where one can sit down, relax and enjoy a hot drink and the stellar view. Good selection of warez. Great trips possible with some class skippers.

These guys have great tours on offer. We did the hot springs tour with them. Even though there a few similar businesses, they were the most accommodating. Our guide had great local knowledge and was willing to diverge from the course to find some whales nearby. Epic trip. Zodiac wasn't too bad either, but the water was pretty calm.

It didn't meet my expectation. A spine of one whale, no Sea Lions, no Sea Otters, no Eagles, and other wildlife! One way a half of hour than wait for a whale approximately 20 minutes and 1 hour the way back.

Chris was a great guide. We had an incredible time on this beautiful day trip. The forest walk and hot springs were magical. And on the boat ride, we saw the incredible beauty of the coastline, as well as otters and grey whales.

Seriously the best experience in Tofino! We decided on this excursion and didn t regret it: it exceeded all expectations. Our skipper, Jeff, was phenomenally knowledgeable and wickedly skilled - he managed that Zodiac outing over choppy water ideally and the result was an outstanding 3 hour outing with views of orcas, eagles, otters, sea lions, and grey wales. Outstanding! We re going again! Absolutely!!!

Saw a couple of grey whale spouts and tails, bald eagles, lots of sea otters and a group of sea lions. The boat ride was fun with great views, even with it being a rainy day, and the crew provided interesting stories about the animals and islands. Even though it would have been nice to see other whales, we realize it can be hit or miss and seasonal, and still felt we got our money's worth.

The staff was friendly and knowledgeable! Chris's enthusiasm and excitement for the whales made the experience so much more fun! He had a great sense of humour and passion for his job. Great knowledge of the area and sea life

We had to go on 2 excursions with them.
Unfortunately when we phoned for confirmation, they gave wrong times for the 2nd excursion and so we couldn't do it !!!

We did not have the best weather but we saw some animals from Eagle to Gray whale - our skipper Jeff with his trainee told some interesting things about the animals and their environment. It was a great trip.

I recently took a Bear Watching Tour with Jamie's and the entire experience was amazing! The staff were really helpful when we booked and our guide was great. He had a great knowledge of the local wildlife and kept the tour entertaining. The boat was able to get quite close to numerous bears (we saw six) and we also saw numerous bald eagles. Just the boat ride itself was beautiful!

Great hours and very helpful, and knowledgeable staff! Our tour guide was great and we were glad we went. We would recommend this place to anyone who wants to hit up whale watching or hot springs cove.

I decided to do this excursion recommended by friends who told me to take the boat because it could have been much closer to the whales
Unfortunately this was not the case, I saw whales from far away. My memory of this experience was just a nice ride with the dinghy, as you can see from the photos the whales are really far away

Jamie's whale watching tour was a fun experience. If you do not see whales, you will receive a voucher to do another tour for free.

I myself have seen some gray whales (from a distance, they cannot get closer than 100m by boat) as well as sea otters and sea lions.

The Kajak Tour to Mears-Island was amazing. Our guide from Argentina was very nice and made us enjoy the entire trip. The rainforest on the Island was a must see. Colibries, old and huge trees, ... Even if you are not used to operate a Kajak - no Problem. The guide is also an excellent instructor. Worth the money!!! We also did a Bear tour with a bigger vessel. This was somehow dissapointing. We saw some bears from a distance. Hardly to picture them. We of course do not want to disturb them. For those who haven t seen bears in wildlife it might be an experience. In total we were not happy to have done it.

Took two tours, kayaking and hot springs on the zodiac boat. Kayaking was slow but enjoyable with decent equipment. Hot springs cove tour was fantastic; the boat skipper Marla was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the local wildlife and did a great job of finding it for us. Professional company in a beautiful location.

We took a hot spring cove tour by boat. Stunning coastline and forest views along the way to hot spring cove. It took us about 1.5 hours one way by boat to the island. Our captain Chris? is very professional and knowledgeable about Marine animals and very familiar with surrounding islands. We spotted some great whales, sea otters, gulls, bald eagles, cormorants, California sea lions, seal, blue jay, coastal wolves, and cows that lived on the beach. Once arrived, we walked through a trail to the hot springs which was about 1.5 km around 30-40min one way through the forest. It is an easy, well built trail with a few elevated stairs. We managed to get there in 25mins. There are a few (about 3? One the website it said 7, but we only found 3. ) small and narrowed natural geothermal rock pools. You will need to climb down a cliff filled with sharp and slippery rocks to get to the hot springs. It is way better than Harrison hot springs where you can see coastal scenery and enjoy natural rock pools. The only down side is there are way too many people in a narrowed hot spring pool.

We started the tour at 9:30am and traveled in a nice cabin cruiser with outdoor viewing deck. Captain Chris is very professional about safety instructions on the boat. We arrived at Maquinna provincial park/island at around 11am. We were asked to come back to the boat at 2pm. So there are only 3hours for the hot springs. Plus the trail to the springs will take about 1 hour round trip. After you arrived, you might want to take some time to change cloth and climb down to the cove. So that leaves you about 1.5-2 hours to stay in the hot spring pools. It is a little rush if you are eating lunch there as well. But overall, it is a nice tour to have while you are in Tofino.

What to bring?
- Highly recommend to bring water shoes or closed toe slippers with tractions as rocks are sharp and slippery in the hot spring cove.
- Bring your own lunch and enough water for a nice picnic on the coastal cliff. There are no restaurants or fresh water on the island.
- Bring some towels and swimsuits. There are two change rooms next to the springs. There are only two washrooms on the island. One is in the beginning of the trail. And another one is next to the hot spring.
- Bring a waterproof phone pouch if you want to take pictures in the hot springs.
- There are no lockers at the springs. There is only a long bench to put your things there. So don t leave any expensive belongings unattended.
- Bring a garbage bag to pack out all the food waste with you. There are NO garbage bin / pick up in the park.

I took video of our ride to the hot springs. The operator of our boat was extremely rude and unprofessional. Our boat left the dock an hour late, there was not even the slightest hint of an apology. He instead complained about his job, and texted his friends while operating the boat.

I was the only woman onboard and he made a point of playing an extremely violent and graphic song that detailed violence and rape against women. When the song was over he laughed and look back, then asked "If we were offended yet".

Headed to the hot springs this morning with Jeff as our skipper, and we had a fantastic time! On the way there we saw Sea Otters, and on the way back we stopped to see some Grey Whales! The walk to the hot springs was beautiful, so green and lush, and very secluded. You get ample time at the springs too. Thanks for the great day!

Jaimie's Hot Springs Tour remains one of the most memorable experience during our trip to West Coast in July this year. What we expected was the exciting Hot spring experience but the scenic boat ride from Tofino to Maquinna Marine Park came as a pleasant surprise. Chris was the Captain and our guide and he was more than generous in sharing information and making every second on the boat worth it. We were fortunate to see whales, sea lions and sea otters and black bears that day.

Can't recommend Jamie's enough. We did three tours with these guys and every single one was excellent. The guides were all super knowledgeable and went out of their way to make sure every passenger was given all the info they had. Big shout out for Ash on the hot springs tour and Greg on the whale watching, both a credit to the company.

We chose Jamie's Whaling Satation in Tofino whether we went whale watching, bear watching, hot springs cove in the past because we always came back with very impressive experience. This time we signed up for a kayak tour to Meares island. We were lucky to hear first hand experience of the First Nation culture and what it meant to be an indigenous young man as well as the history and nature of Meares island from our tour guide. We wish him every success in life.

Today a whale safari I'll call it done with this agency
On their advice in the morning
Now I also know that you cannot order the wildlife
But if you ask if you can see whales or orcas, the answer is affirmative.
What should have been the highlight of Canada's animals has become the biggest disappointment.
Outside of a sea otter on his back, and then a little sprayed in the distance and a back coming up, there was nothing to see.
An hour of floating around in the distance something that might look like a whale's back is completely over.
If I then watch videos that can be seen in Canada or Vancouver island, then I wonder why people visit a bay where they assume there might be gray whales, habit, routine or money-beating
And then one of the men comes to tell me you have now seen your gray whales.
I was too disappointed to be able to answer him.

Whale watching was awesome, we took the big boat and it was comfortable for our family of four with two kids 9 and 11. The crew were awesome and we saw grey whales, sea lions, sea otters, and bald eagles. Great fun!
