Spent ten minutes in the phone to schedule initial appointment. Receptionist asked for all kinds of personal information to include credit card and email, just to find out that Dr. Swain is not taking new patients and appointments with Dr. Fijman are more than 2 months out. I can't wait that long. Why couldn't the receptionist tell me appointments were so far out before I needlessly shared all my personal info. On top of that she kept putting me on hold. What kind of medical business ask for email and credit card information up front? Terrible customer service. Zero stars

Do not go here. Absolutely terrible service. Incapable of completing paperwork for insurance and will leave you unmedicated for weeks, even if you call every. single. day. to ask them to fax the necessary paperwork. Dangerous and infuriating.
I highly reccomend Achieve concierge, Achieve medical and Aspire regenerative. I have had major depression and anxiety for most of my adult life. Iam 64 yrs old. I went to my first appointment March 2019 and I believe I got my life back that day. Dr. Inamdar got right on it. She spent a lot of time with us and with me alone. She recommended a number of therapies including a new anti-depressant and the life changing treatment of deep TMS. I started seeing Dr. Sheth, who also thought deep TMS would help me. I began treatments about a month later. After a week of treatment I was sleeping better! After 2 weeks, I actually felt better - my life was looking up literally and figuratively. I feel joy and happy everyday. Iam so extremely thankful for Achieve Medical and TMS, Dr. Inamdar, Dr. Sheth, Aspire regenerative--Dr McNally, Dr Lamoreaux, the technicians and the staff. I will never give up again. I have an abundance of hope! Marcia T
So I had the worst experience with them so I came to write this review and I just saw all these reviews. I had a referral from my family doctor. I called and made an appointment. They asked for my credit card info. Thats not a big deal. Many other places do that. The worst part was after I gave them my info and was told that I will be contacted for a virtual meeting due to the pandemic nobody ever called me! But guess what happened. They charged me 800$ for an appointment that never even happened because I never got a call from them. I am filling a lawsuit against them. This is not just bad business. This is fraud
Wish I could give this place 0 stars. Do not go here for any treatment at all. This is by far the worst facility in the county. The front office women have the worst attitudes and they will hang up on you. If you pay out of pocket, you will be overcharged and you will have to struggle to get any preauth paperwork filed with your insurance company for medication. Their system for contacting patients before appointments does not work. Tried to report them to the California Board of Medicine, and they refused to give license numbers of overlooking doctor and nurse practitioner Brittany Watson.
I had great experience with Dr prabati. Not sure about why other reviewers are talking regarding scheduling. It was painless to schedule an appointment and the telehealth system worked fine for me on both my phone or computer.
It was great to have some one to talk with during the pandemic and get a perspective. Highly recommended!
Alright, I don't know what you guys are talking about. I've had some really bad experiences with mental health providers and this has not been one of them. My psychiatrist (technically an NP) Brittany Watson is incredibly helpful and competent-- because I wasn't in crisis she had me get blood work done instead of throwing more medications at the wall to see if they stick. My therapist Dr Elva Hoxie is also very respectful and knows what she's doing. And, they take my insurance (blue shield HMO Magellan), which virtually no one else does. Finally, it's a psychiatrist and a therapist in the same building, a short bus+bike ride from UCSD. It's pretty much perfect. {And, while I don't know her name, the office staff person who's been there each time I've been there is very kind and seemed to know what she's doing as well.} I'm very satisfied with Achieve, and would reccomend them strongly.
My provider joined this practice, and the transition was terrible. Their call center down in California was the worst to try and work with. My provider quit and closed her practice all together, in large part because they promised her they would support her and her patients, but they actually created chaos. I've been trying to seek a new provider, and I've had two doctors request my records from them, and neither has heard back in over a month. I emailed them and heard nothing. I think they are a fly by night operation, pushing expensive TMS stuff, their staff has no idea how to work with psychiatric patients and literally cause more psychiatric distress. Run away, do not go to them.
During this time of covid, I was able to get the attention through video chat with Daniel Reyes. I felt like I was listened to and my concerns were addressed properly. The staff was able to get me in quickly, when there is a 3 to 6 month wait for any other place I would look. I highly recommend this establishment to anyone who is seeking well-managed and complete care.
The doctors/physicians are very nice, however the office staff are not. They are unprofessional, rude, and overall not good. After reading many reviews on this business, I see now why I had the experience. Please read reviews before going to see them.
Stay away from this place. I tried to schedule with them 4 times and 3 out of 4 times they called me literally an hour before my appointment and canceled my appointment! Their only excuse was they over scheduled patients. So I tried to schedule them for the 4th time and they assured me that they will contact me at a certain time and date, but they never did. There are plenty of other places that aren't as incompetent as them.
I recently went to their new offices 5060 Shoreham Place La Jolla. If I could give them 0 stars I would. This was one of the very worst places I could possibly imagine. Do NOT even think about taking your child here if they are in need of mental health help. I took my 13 year old to get evaluated because she was having a really hard time and was suffering greatly from depression and anxiety. We saw Brittany Watson, who listened, gave us ADHD forms for me and her teachers to fill out, told me she would help me by sending some wording so I could better talk to the school, gave me a prescription for blood work, and referred us to two other therapists in her office. It was extremely challenging to schedule that appointment and the next appointment with Brittany for a month later, as they are only there Tuesdays and Wednesdays, but not all Tuesdays and Wednesdays. It took me over a half an hour to schedule the next appointments. I'm not sure how adept the office manager was...she had a very hard time keeping track of the schedules, who we were talking about and what I was saying. A week later, my daughter was going down hill fast so I called to see if I could speak to Brittany on the phone to help me with what to do for my daughter. I was desperate. Brittany was unavailable and the office manager said I would have to make an appointment to speak with her. This was Thursday - she is only there Tuesdays and Wednesdays and my daughter was in crisis. I asked if I could talk to her about the lab results and the office manager said I had to make an appointment for that, which would be $250 because insurance did not cover it. I asked if Brittany could please give me a call back and the office manager said she would have to ask her supervisor who was gone for the day and that she would call me the next morning. No phone call ever came. Ever. We wait for 2 weeks for our appointment with Keller Rich LMFT. We were waiting on decisions, waiting for help with school, waiting to see what she said, changed our schedules to make this appointment. Finally the day arrives and we let them know we were there for our appointment (15 min early). We wait 30 minutes and nothing. Finally I ask the office manager why we hadn't been seen yet and she said that Keller WAS NOT WORKING today!!!! Whaaaaat??? My daughter was in desperate need of help, we waited 2 weeks, we waited 30 minutes and she wasn't even showing up to our appointment? The office manager said she sent me an email on Monday cancelling our appointment - didn't try calling, didn't ask for a reply, did not even bother to check if I received it - which I didn't because she spelled my name wrong in the email address!!!! They did not bother to make sure I did not waste our valuable time and energy or even to reschedule the appointment. They did not even bother to ask how my daughter was doing! They cared so little about me and my daughter - again, who is in great need - to help us or communicate with us.
This is not the place to go to if you want any kind of professional organization or caring mental health practitioners. They should be banned from practice.
I ve seen several doctors here and have always had a wonderful and accommodating experience. I see my doctors when I need to and I m always well taken care of!
Office staff is completely incompetent. Unable to do simple tasks like filling prescriptions and answering the phone or getting messages to doctors. They must hire anyone to work in the office because they dont even have the skills to send faxes or google pharmacy phone numbers online. But i do like my doctor.
I wish I could select zero stars. The only reason I am putting this out there is because I want to make sure anyone who reads the reviews do not go through the same stress that my family went through due to achieve medical center. The doctors were pretty good, however, most of the office staff treated us horrendously. There are just way too many things to list here but at one point I called to make an urgent psychiatry Appointment for my son. I was very specific in stating that he needed a medication change and we needed to see a psychiatrist. When I got there they had scheduled him with a therapist who could not prescribe or change medication. People make mistakes but the way they were treated me about it was unimaginable. On a good note regarding the doctors, the medical director called us at 7 PM to help us with our urgent situation since the office staff had booked us with the wrong type of clinician. She was very thorough patient and kind. On a negative note, the office staff kicked my seven-year-old son out of the practice after filling prescriptions but with no medical care follow up because they said that they only deal with your "basic depression and anxiety". This 100% contradicts what the doctors said to me. It simply was not true. They just did not want to deal with me. Erica in particular was very rude and extremely unprofessional. The office staff contradicted themselves many times. Everyone knows how long it takes to get a child into see a psychiatrist. The only one that was kind and helpful at times was Trina in the office. However then she stopped returning my calls when she said that she would specifically follow up with me. They just do not know how to treat people. I have never been treated so poorly by any business or office. Once I read most of the reviews on here it all started to make sense why I had this experience. I wish I had read the reviews on achieve prior to taking my son there. How sad that anyone would put a child through that. His therapist and our family attorney did some research and found that they can be charged with medical neglect but to my efforts certainly will not go towards that. I have to get my son the care he needs and deserves.
Both Dr. Hoxie and Dr. Watson, NP are compassionate and supportive health practitioners. I m grateful for their work and would recommend Achieve Medical Center to anyone needing treatment.
Incompetent at it's finest. First, they cancel appointments at whims notice, not like we have lives too right? For the now virtual appointments, they sent the virtual link via text to the WRONG phone number, EXACTLY one minute prior to the appointment time, and 12 minutes later, again to the WRONG phone number, a text that we need to reschedule. UNSAT! We will NOT be rescheduling and after reading the other reviews, I'm glad we dodged this bullet anyways.
