Amazing buns and super friendly staff! From the chefs to servers and greeter. I ordered the mushroom bun and its brilliant especially if you love the flavour of truffles.
Delicious dinner. I recommend stuffed sandwiches and chicken. On the occasion of my birthday ... a girl of the Vanessa staff, very kind and professional, offered us the dessert. I'm a bit salty, but it's worth it!
Great service from beginning to end. Open kitchen where you can see how your food is made. Buns melting in you mouth and the quality of the food is top 5!!! Pizzas oven made with excellent prosciutto and the freshest burrata.
A hidden gem found in Covent Garden.
Drove 30 minutes to get to this place (paying congestion charge and got a parking ticket) only to get there and be told by the rude unapologetic manager we don t always close at 9:30 as it states on our website sometimes we close at 8pm . I got there at 8:30 but their website states they close at 9.30. Either invest in a phone The customers can call or update your bloody website
For such a central location food is amazing. Slightly on the high side but still cracking. Lobster Roll is delish.
Restaurant noticeably crowded, eating not much compared to price and taste, good price, overpriced
Very expensive restaurant for what they offer, fast food. I do not recommend it to the Spanish, it is a hoax. low quality ingredients frozen potatoes, etc.
In Covent Garden looking for a place to eat, they served halal food so we thought why not. Amazing food, brilliant service as well, we had Ahmet as our server and he was attentive and welcoming, with a smile on his face. Definitely recommend!
As a frequent Covent Garden visitor, had to try this place and throughly loved it. Ordered different types of buns as it would have been a waste not to and was not disappointed.
We had the lobster roll, Steak sandwich and pork belly bao bun as well as the Brazilian cheese buns (which are to die for) and would recommend all of them. It was a shame we were full after all that as we would have loved to try all the other buns.
The counter seat is a great view if you re going by yourself or with a friend because you get to see all the food being made (and makes you hungrier).
Reasonable prices for the quality and would definitely make my way there again!
Truffle & wild mushroom, corn fritters, Chilean rib eye sandwich is very very good ! ! !
Excellent food. Service not like that.
The van arrived when they were stuck in paper and we had to return them.
The chicken and the beef sandwich came very late but were very tasty.
The manager took responsibility and distributed us on his own initiative at 50 percent discount.
So despite all this we gave 4 stars.
Delicious food and warm welcome, thanks to Antonio's advice. I will definitely be back !!
Delicious food , cozy place , especially Mr.Alper who served us very well. We'll be back soon again.
Great service with professional and extremely kind waiters! The quality of service of Matteo, Luigi and Eleonora was remarkable ...... wonderful waiters! Regarding the menu I recommend steak sandwich ..... great!
In the heart of Convento Garden, good food with original proposals and very warm welcome. A special thanks to Antonio.
Very friendly but not enough to compete with the quality of the area.
Ordered starters then main and mains arrived as we were eating starters..,,, this would be fine if we had been told that s the way it happened!
Asked for the bill and not even an offer of a discount or complimentary drink for the confusion.
Thankfully there are many other restaurants around and we going a lovely one for our main course!!
Plus it was really cold in there had to keep coats on
There's something about the bread in this place that is special. We had the ribeye sandwich in ciabatta bread and the bread was amazing. We also shared the carbonara pizza and it was the best dough I have had in a while.
Will go again to try their buns without a doubt.
This is a different dining place. I liked the live food court.
Warm welcome by Antonio, nice and well-trained waiter who accompanied us to the table and recommended among the proposed dishes.
Good choice and nice presentations, highly recommended if you are in the Covent garden area
Arrived almost at 11pm because they came out of a Musical but we were greeted with kindness and courtesy and we ate 3 different but delicious pizzas, to return to prestp to taste other dishes. Thanks and good job.
Gorgeous food, great atmosphere and very lovely staff
Very good bao buns. Try the mushroom and beef burger buns. We weren't allowed to a take away because they wanted to include service charge.
The service was great, but the price was a bit steep for a full course meal for 3 people
One of my favorite restaurants. Great service, great vibe and AMAZING food. Get the asian chicken salad and the lobster roll - the best!
Nice little venue in the heart of Covent Garden. The truffle and wild mushroom buns were delicious!
Lovely food and service. The best pizza burrata prosciutto . Amazing cheesecake
When here, don t miss the burrata and Parma pizza! Cozy place and excellent service.
Have been here several times. Always the same dishes to order.
A place in the middle of Covent Garden in London, I have tasted organic chicken, excellent bread, shows that are out there, quite entertaining
Amazing location ,great halal menu ,child friendly ,best negroni So far 10\10
Fab location, beautiful decor, polite staff and great food!
Good atmosphere, good beer despite few choices but very expensive for what it is ...
Very nice and welcoming place. Yummy dishes and super Buns. Ghita served us and it was WONDERFUL! Kind and professional he recommended us very well. We will definitely be back !!
Very welcoming place for a quick lunch. Enjoyed a great service from Ghita, who was also very helpful in giving us recommendations when asked.
Antonio number one
Best place
To try
Really super good, shrimp buns a slaughter, an expensive one but worth it if you move to London
Well worth 3.5 / 5, for the excellent service 5/5, eating very normal 3/5, for a fairly expensive price 2.5 / 5 one visit is enough Maandhm Shi distinctive Minio.
My first experience at Buns and Buns . Beautiful decor and delicious food. We love their breakfast . Friendly service .Will come back again but for the dinner this time !
Needed to find somewhere quick and reasonable for a bite this place fitted the bill
WOW "BUNS N' BUNS" !!!
Last Friday me and a friend popped in for a quick bite but we stayed for more than a couple of hours! Food was delicious, atmosphere great and the service from Evrim, Aziz and team was 10 out of 10. Love the place see you soon guys and keep up the good work !!!
Thanks for everything !!
Milan
Great food, atmosphere and very attentive and friendly staff. Cocktails were lovely. Great experience.
Nice basic to have a drink and eat quickly! Not designed as a traditional restaurant
Very nice food good costumer service.. good prices ... I do recommend
Awful. Still waiting for the glass of water I asked for 5 times. Then we were charged for fries that we never ordered.
Thanks to Ghita
Food and service were amazing
The pulled pork bao is on another level! Had a couple for entree and the steak sandwich was delicious. Lining up my next visit already.
I had travelled from Macclesfield, leaving home at 8am, earlier in the day by train and decided to hop on a tube from Euston to have a coffee at Covent Market. On arrival I came across Buns Buns that looked perfect. I awaited to be seated and was asked if I wanted lunch? It was about 11am and so I explained that I just wanted coffee and pastry. This was accepted. I was lead to be table and duly served coffee and croissant (warm). Shortly adterwards, another couple were seated next to me and when asked what they wanted, they also wanted breakfast, but were refused. They could clearly see what I had and were willing to pay. I couldn't see a problem, but the waiter was unwilling to take their order. The customers from Turkey (I think?) were lovely and explained that they didn't want lunch and only wanted like me, breakfast type items. I felt embarrassed for myself and also upset that there was a lack of flexibility by Buns Buns to reconsider and simply ask the chef and try to find a solution. The other customers were FORCED to leave as no solution was reached. The waiter thought I was being very kind to try and facilitate a solution. I expressed my upset and disappointment. I felt quite ashamed to be honest. I asked for my bill that was over 8GBP, finished my coffee and croissant as soon as I could to leave. As I past the waiter who acknowledged customers in front of me, he chose to ignore me. I said "thank you" and "goodbye" I'm unsure if I would ever want to return?
Excellent food and amazing service. For sure one of the best places to go in Covent Garden.
Was skeptical at first sight...Italian service, chinese buns, pizza on menu. Headed in expecting a gastronomical tragedy. Turned out to be one of the best dining experiences I have had so far in the last 3 weeks in London. Food is fantasti. Buns were fantastic. Pizza, chicken and seafood were just too good. A bit on the pricey side but its worth it. Going back tonight again and inviting some guests along. Sharing the good stuff.
Food is good although portions are quite small, especially for their price. Very expensive for what you get. Staff is great.
The food is incredible, and Antonio the waiter, was very helpful and pleasant !!! The atmosphere is very good
Perfectly tasty dishes in a beautiful place. I recommend to everyone!
Good decoration
But with average coffee and desserts
Went to this restaurant it was busy at lunchtime BUT the lobster roll was amazing and we also had the chicken again moist and delicious staff friendly and it's just a MUST VISIT!!! Will be going back very soon
Beautiful location in the heart of the coven garden. Special praise to the two employees of the bar Francesca and Salvatore who delighted us with their specialties and amazed with their professionalism. Highly recommended !!
Good bao but experience & small , the place was crowded so I had waiting my food too long around 35 minutes to have it
I try
- prawns bao (9/10) good taste but little pice of shrimp they need to add more shrimp
- mushrooms boa (10/10) i like it alot kind of mushroom with truffle ( am mushroom person )
Like at home.
Great.
Antonio number 1.
Great place in the heart of covent garden for a quick meal. Service was outstanding and fast which is always appreciated. We loved the cauliflower, the calamari Salad and the prawn buns. I also had the lobster roll but found it quite bland and the bread to lobster ratio was off considering it was a 24 pound dish! Will come back for trying their famous pizzas but I would stay away from their lobster dishes.
I had a great meal and the excellent waiter, thanks Antonio.
Fantastic place for a meal at any time!
Good and fast service. Fair prices for a tourist market and delicious food.
The buns are incredible good, try pork one. And pizza you can share easily if you are not that hungry. Also they have fresh juices.
International credit cards accepted.
Great salads ! The steak sandwich was good but too much bread , the truffle mushroom was amazing !!! Great service thou ... cheers
I was already a fan of Buns & Buns but each time I go I just fall deeper in love with this place. And yesterday they put the best secret item on their menu - the Mac Bun. Dear God. This is a perfect little snack. I could have ordered four more to take home with me. They have a great, friendly staff and generous drinks/ portions. It s my favorite dining option in Covent Garden and I ll be stopping by often. Cheers!
I really enjoyed the food, the cocktails, the place and the service of our waitress Monica, she was very kind, she recommended some dishes, and the cheesecake was delicious
Thank you Monica !
I came here to try the buns as it is a signature Taiwanese style dish, however it s quite disappointing as the bun itself it s a bit dry, not fluffy. There s also not enough sauce in the truffle mushrooms buns. Squid salad is very blend. Only I like is the corn fritters. It s a beautiful space but I probably wouldn t return for buns.
Everything we ordered was really good. Service was also good. Great experience...
Even for covent garden this place js extremely expensive, yet poor in quality. Poor service, cramped tables and no toilet.
Yep its a 1 star.
Over priced. Average quality food. Too noisy. Slow service. Waiters were friendly though
incredible - the staff is so friendly and polite! We tried different items on the menu - Pizza, Sandwiches, etc.. everything was just perfect! The interior of the restaurant is beautiful. I'll definitely come back soon.
