Located at the lovely Covent Garden Market, this rest specializes in buns, roman style pizzas and other great yet simple dishes such as sandwiches, roasted chicken. Good bar and very friendly service. Prices are moderate. You get nice view from the glass panels of the market hallway.

Right in the centre of the Covent Garden plaza. A modern glass castle filled with delish buns, lobster roll, corn fritters, beetroot salad and pizza. Wish they had more variety of buns - sooo yum! It is also vegetarian friendly.

The ambience is bubbly yet homey. We sat next to the bar area with a great view of the plaza. Staff are well trained and very friendly.

Recommend:
- Corn fritters
- Chili Thai prawn bun
- Truffle and wild mushroom bun
- Rainbow beets
- Lobster brioche roll

Good, nice but expensive. Logical being in the heart of covent garden. That if the attention is great and the place is very nice to go and have a good breakfast. In addition to the price, another point of improvement is the distance between the months, which is just centimeters.

My husband and I had a pretty horrible experience here. We ordered some of their bun appetizers and waited over an hour and half for them. Yes, the server and manager kept coming over and apologizing but the surrounding tables were receiving their buns so we weren t understanding the situation and all we kept being told was sorry, everyone is ordering buns . Yes, because you re Buns and Buns and the point was that we ordered before everyone else. Just a little frustrated being in this industry myself and would never have let this happen. Worst part was after a while you could tell the server was too embarrassed to come back over to us since we were still sitting there with nothing. So, then when we finally received them they were cold and dry. Not worth the wasted vacation time.

Loved the calamari and chicken salad, steak sandwich done medium rare as requested. Staff are very attentive and helpful especially when it comes to any food allergies/intolerances. Nice seating with wrap around windows with a view of Covent gardens. Would definitely come back.

Stopped in her for dinner on a Saturday night. Didn't book a table but managed to get a seat.

The buns are . Really good. The big Mac style one is extra-specially yummy.

4 stars because the pizza was a bit of a let down. Nothing wrong with it at all, but not as special as the buns.

The service was really good and the staff are very polite and attentive. However the food was not great. We ordered a pizza that was difficult to cut and only managed to eat the top of the pizza and the base was very stiff. The steak More

Found this place while visiting Covent Gardens in London. Restaurant is located in a central location that cannot be missed. It s clean and feels homey . Our food was freshly made. My eldest daughter ordered the Mac bun medium rare, and she LOVED IT. My youngest ordered hummus, French fries and fresh bread. She enjoyed her meal very well! Overall it was a great experience. Only surprise was that there was charge of 4.50 pounds for each fill of water (We filled twice). Will definitely return back on our next trip to London!

I have been wanting to try this place for the longest time, and it did not disappoint! A HALAL bao place, get in there!!
The chilli Prawn Bao is to die for, the service was great, food was presented nicely. The Chilean rib eye sandwich was also delicious, I would definitely come back again. I always rate staff who are attentive, and at Buns and Buns they're were all very smiley and welcoming. Can't wait to come back to try the rest of the menu!

Definitely geared towards tourists. Having tried a variety of options off the menu, there's nothing here you've not had before. Saying that would recommend the shoe string fries, they were good.

Probably one of the best places to eat in covent garden. The atmosphere is wonderful and the burgers, while small, are some of the best I've ever eaten. The place is vegan and vegetarian friendly, as well as child friendly. The prices could be a little cheaper, but the food more than makes up for it. Great service, great food.

I'd like to say thank you to the workers and manager, especially to the turkish worker who helped my ill mum who was locked in the toilets and had a panic attack.

The meal (steal sandwich) was also very good! One of the best birthday meals I've had!

Thank you once again!

In the center of Covent Garden, a really nice, warm and welcoming place. Ghita recommended and divinely suggested: stratospheric buns (steamed sandwiches) and excellent pizza. Finding good quality in London is not easy, but at Buns and Buns it is 100 per 100.

Superb location in the center of Coven Garden. The decor is neat, and the staff smiling and very helpful to sit down and eat at the bar. I loved the menu, it is small but offers a little of everything: salads, buns (specialty of the house, fresh buns hyper fluffy with truffle mushrooms toppings, shrimp or burgers) brushetta, squid, roast chicken , ribs, lobster ... the drinks menu is nice too with squeezed fruit juice (carrot, apple, ginger) cocktails and a good selection of wines! The prices are correct, I will return!

Buns are nice and soft. Enjoyed the mushroom and prawns but way too garlicky. Service hit and miss or more like a hazard with chairs banged around.

Music was awful and loud...not a relaxing atmosphere at all. But the food came out petty quick which meant I could leave quicker.

The few fries come to us in a glass, then we have the right to eat our Bun's (two bites will be enough to eat them so much the portion is ridiculous).

All is not served at the same time (the fries, then we wait Bun's and finally we have the right to drink ...) and saw the little work is not normal.

The food is horrible, but the most disgusting thing was, I ordered an apple juice and the glass arrived with a fresh lipstick stain on my glass, I just wonder how clean the place is overall.

Even though I have told them about the lipstick stain on my glass they still charged me with service charge.

Not worth a penny! Definitely do not recommend the place!

Very welcoming and familiar place. Exquisite staff, we were served by a very sweet girl named Monica. The dishes are nothing short of exquisite and innovative, they make very special salads. A place suitable also for those who have families with small children. Covent Garden shed.da Try it !!!

Excellent bun s! You have to plan 4 for big eaters, but it's too good! The fries and pizzas are delicious. The place is very beautiful, design and trendy! To be tested even with the family!

The only vegan choice they have is a beetroot salad (and practically it s almost just beetroots) and overall the portions are quite small. The place is nice but definitely overpriced for what you get.

This is the best spot to see and be seen in the heart of Covent Garden. You can seat inside below their heat warmers and still enjoy people watching.
Coffee is good. The food looks delicious but did not try it.

The name is deceptive as 'buns' felt Chinese but it is not a Chinese restaurant. There's only 3 bao buns types.

Still both the prawn bao and pork belly bao were so tasty! Cabonara pizza was more bread than carbonara but still very good bread! You just have to plan your order well so you are not bread overload.

Service was a little disorganised (not getting order right and felt little chaotic) but the food and drinks were really good, atmosphere was great, so I would definitely come back again.
