Gas Sure have LIED about the contract they made with me

Gas Sure sold me a GOLD level Boiler Maintenance plan.I paid for that GOLD level Boiler Maintenance plan for SEVEN YEARS NEVER MISSING A MONTHLY INSTALMENT OF THE GOLD LEVEL CONTRACT DIRECT DEBITS....and,at the end of those seven years ,when the house was sold with the boiler system having been signed off only six months before by Gas Sure,the new owners of the house complained that the system did not work AT ALL. and would have to be completely replaced.We complained to Gas Sure and their Operations Manager responded with a shameful lie..trying to wrong foot us by claiming that the contract we had with Gas Sure was a less costly,less comprehensive one labelled their"Silver" contract.That downright lie led me to re-check what I had been paying Gas Sure FOR over the seven years.As I already knew,I can verify now through my bank statements of my Direct Debits to James Frew Ltd. every month for SEVEN YEARS....that I was paying for theirGOLD level contract.Presumably they just casually substituted a lower level contract .....and didn't,in fact meet even the obligations of THAT substitute.I now want an apology,and I want my payments made to Gas Sure for SEVEN YEARS ....payments which left me with nothing but a totally wrecked Boiler system ,major expenses and delays and a buyer now demanding that I pay for the replacement of the boiler.Unbelieveably, they engaged Gas Sure to do this .I have absolutely incontrovertible evidence of WHAT I HAVE PAID THEM FOR....FOR SEVEN YEARS.They are lying...and I require not just an apology for their cynical lying response,but reimbursement for all the payments I have made for a contract I never made with them.....their so-called "SILVER" contract.It has been weeks since we informed the Operations Manager of the crass misinformation he produced to try to justify this appalling lack of even BASIC maintenance and repair....and yet we have had NO EXPLANATION of that misinformation...not even an attempt to EXCUSE it. I can honestly say that I have NEVER experienced such appalling incompetence,such lying arrogance and such sheer overall irresponsibility from ANY service provider from whom I have EVER purchased a service..It is just beyond shameful....from beginning to the cowardly end of cowering behind an obvious,demonstrable LIE.

Elderly ill parents waiting till 7.45pm to get heating sorted, from first thing in the morning, mums carer had no hot water to take care of basic needs. no explanation of problem, which find slightly concerning. Once sorted all fine.

Brilliant company. Recommended by a colleague and so much better than British Gas. Had a leaking pipe in the boiler. Phoned up Thursday late afternoon. And asked if am or pm the next day was preferred. No qualms about recommending them.

Very elderly and frail parents left without proper heating and been waiting since before xmas for repair despite being loyal customers for many years. 10 day repair now into 9th week with no communication or progress. Mum 87 caring for a husband 90 with dementia trying several times to get a response or speak to someone in charge to no avail despite money being taken from their credit card . Appalling customer service particularly at the coldest part of the year. to an elderly vulnerable couple. Is it verging on fraud to take payment with no service ???

Good service from Gas Sure. Got a phone call to confirm the appointment the night before. Brendan the engineer arrived on time and carried out the service efficiently. He was polite and helpful at all times.

Been visited 6 times and still we continue to have problems. It seems that the loud gurgling and boiling boiler loud noises are not reason of emergency. They sustain that is safe to use even through I have told them that the noises are so loud and I am worried to do not explode because till now the reset button was flashing often but now it has been changed an senson and I am worried that the boiler safety parts are faulty. My boiler is having probably a failure of the pressure parts of the steam and water sides and they say that is safe to use this weekend without to see the problem and that it will be my choice to do not use the heating. It is my choise to protect my life being also pregnant even through it will means do not have heating this weekend. They do not have enough qualified staff and the repairs are done by trial and error. I need to wait to be visited for the 7th time. Being a housing tenant I pity the ones that are paying for this kind of poor services

Had the Gold Boiler maintenance plan - get boiler serviced prior to selling. They introduce a small leak into boiler, manageable with a mixing bowl. 3 engineers couldn't source leak. 4th sources leak and orders parts. 5th engineer systematically wrecks the boiler until it cannot be turned on due to a major leak - water goes in and comes straight back out. From having no issued with my boiler for 12mths, to a service, a leak within 2wks of that service, to then having to buy a new boiler due to it being "uneconomical to repair" - read: they made it uneconomical. Still have not responded to a formal complaint a month later. Avoid at all costs - cheaper to have no cover than with these crooks.

The engineer Garry Webster did an excellent job. He was very pleasant and very diligent. He worked hard from the moment he arrived to the moment he left. He was just so helpful and nothing was a problem to him. All in all a great experience.The other tradesmen were great too. A good team!
