Jalapeno Inferno Review

The only thing I could recommend here is the guacamole. As for the rest of the food I would save your money!

Food was excellent the reason for the 4 stars is the service was not up to par I'll say, wasn't busy enough to warrant the lack of service but she may have been new to serving or maybe was just having an off day it wasn't terrible or anything just forgot to have the peppers and onions removed from my order, replaced it with a quesadilla that was very good as far as quesadilla's go anyways, I will be back for sure and do recommend you go try it if you haven't been I went for lunch at around 1 wasn't too crowded at all.

Favorite Mexican restaurant in Phoenix. Queso is great. Highly recommend the Chicken Chimichanga. Chips are coming out fresh and hot in both flour and corn.

Our favorite Mexican restaurant. Ask for the hot when they drop off the chips and salsa. Inferno sauce is also a good request for the daring!

Order was incorrect and then I got lip service from the bartender that chicken was steak and a general indifference

GREAT food. Had corn tamales and chili rellenos, very tasty. Their special, cranberry margaritas, are unique and worth trying. Friendly atmosphere and wait staff.

Chips and salsa are awesome! Ask for the hot it is very flavorful and not overwhelming with the heat. Gone here for years and food is always great and the staff has always been well trained and on top of it.

Very slow service. Working retail I know what it's like to be understaffed and totally slammed these guys were running around doing their best. But they need more help. It's one thing to have alot of orders on your dinner rush swamping the kitchen. But when it takes a waiter 30 min to get drinks. And then walks away for 20 min before coming to get your order. That's a bit of an issue. By the time drinks were brought back my party of 7 all knew what they wanted. I myself didn't even get to eat because I had an appointment at 7pm and had to leave and asked my family member just to have them change my order to go and I will eat it when I get home. Mind you we had a reservation for 530p. So. That means by 7p. I still had not gotten my order . This review is not to yell or vent at the staff they did well just understaffed . This is for the owner. Please. Give your staff more help during rush hour . They deserve it and need it.

Love this place. Nice chips and salsa (they have the flour kind, too) and love their pollo y arroz soup!

Great place for Sunday lunch with family. They offer indoor (with separate bar sitting) and patio seating. Food is Amazing too!

Food was wonderful and the drinks were very food too! Ate outside to get seated right away and it was nice with a heater close (February). Definitely recommended checking out this place!

We've eaten here several times before it was fine. Not a good experience this time. To long to order and almost a hour before we was served or meal.

We felt.... welcomed home. It was our 1st time and had a great experience with our 1 yr. old. The place was about 50% full, most were in the bar area with their wide and deep selection of premium tequilas. We were seated and brought chips/salsa and waters including a kid friendly water(very thoughtful). We were suddenly brought a 1st time guest tamale(tasty and classy). Our meals(Chile Relleno with added pork and Hatch sauce & chicken enchilada) were spicy and flavorful. We would recommend for food/beverage and service.

Come here often. Food it good a little inconsistent but overall you know what you will get. Kids options. Solid happy hour. One of our regular places to get what we call American mexican food

My family and I absolutely love this place! Great street tacos and the fish tacos are to be had on any occasion.

Went for lunch. Loved the food. Very slow service. I would consider eating here again, but not a weekday lunch. Perhaps on a Saturday for the midday break.

Jalapeno Inferno is the best mexican food in the area. Every time I go here I am not disappointed. They probably have the best chips and salsa I have ever had. No joke. They are dang good. The guacamole is also next level. Anything you order will be good. Try it out and thank me later.

FYI, Their nachos are huge and could feed 2-3 people!

Food was great. Choose this place because the chips and salsa looked good and it did not disappoint. I liked the flower chips and the wife liked then corn. Salsa had great flavor.

Jalapeno Inferno is a pretty standard sit down Mexican restaurant. They have all the usual menu items and margaritas. I love their cheese enchiladas with red sauce. They give the table chips and salsa and most meals come with the usual sides of rice and beans. The prices are pretty standard as well. It can get busy on weekend nights so plan on some wait time.

Very good service, always superb food, and you have to try the BOSS Margarita, if you think you can. Been going to this place for years. It's always excellent.

Wow, the restaurant bus absolutely delicious, I've eaten there 4 times and I've never been disappointed. The service is superb, the food is delicious, if you haven't been there, I suggest you go, you will not be disappointed

Went here for the first time last Saturday evening. We chose this restaurant after reading favorable reviews about the food. It was my husband and myself, our son-in-law and 3 grandchildren. Short story is that the food was not good. You know that feeling that you've just wasted time and money on something unenjoyable? Well that's how we felt. There was one good item and that was the nachos one of my granddaughters ordered. It was a huge portion and it was good. The ean and cheese tostadas were pathetic looking and very soggy. The rest of us had chicken dishes which were all dry and lacking in flavor. I have to say when we called the manager to our table she was very quick to take off the price of the tostadas and gave us a $10 discount. She was very pleasant. But unfortunately we won't be returning. There are too many good Mexican restaurants in town to waste our time here.

Unfortunatly, my family and I had a horrible experience at this restaurant tonight. The food was mediocre and two of our dishes were cold. While the restaurant was beautful, we were seated upstairs in an incredibly tight, hot, clostrophobic room. It was filled to capacity with small children, complete w/ a man making balloon animals. It was similar to attending a child s birthday party! While this might be fun in a pizza parlor, it was unacceptable for a nice restaurant. A complete waste of time and money.

We've lived in Scottsdale for awhile now and just discovered this place! It's a perfect combination of typical American/Mexican food and higher end Mexican. Good selection of menu items and margaritas including lobster fajitas and a spicy strawberry margarita. We'll definitely be back!

My chicken fundito I get is always delicious. It has this delicious sauce on top, which makes it 10000x better. I was also impressed my the flour chips. They were light and delicious. By far my favorite chips. Plus there amazing service and delicious dessert, which makes it highly exceptional.

Guacamole bowls should big the whole fruit in a nice bowl. More vegetarian vegan oggers need to be made available but ur spices are perfect

Had a very strong watermelon margarita which was good. A bit expensive but not outrageous.

This was my first time here! I'm visiting from northern CA. The chips and salsa sre amazing! Loved the flour chips and the salsa tates so fresh! I got a 2 item lunch plate with a cheese enchada, hard shell ground beef taco with rice and beans. Everything was very tasty! My only complaint was that my taco was soggy and fell apart, so I had to eat it with a fork- but it was delicious regardless. Staff was very welcoming and friendly. Definitely will come here again on my next visit!

I have to say this was the worst Mexican dinner I've had in a long time. The green sauce was so salty it destroyed the flavor of the food. The traditional corn on the cob was so cold it felt like I was just pulled straight out of the refrigerator. The management didn't offer to comp our meals even when we said the food was way too salty. Just a bad experience all the way around! Sad to say... nowhere near as good as it was in the past.

Great food and service. Street tacos were awesome. Place was kind of dirty inside. Dusty and walls looked like they were splattered with something. It could use a good scrubbing.
