Like that it's non-smoking in the backroom now. Sound has historically been pretty lousy but it seemed better at the last show I went to.

Always having a blast with EVERyOne and great service great atmosphere.
The 2 waitress we get all thw time r so friendly & makes sure we have everything we need.
Jake's is thw place to bw on any night.

Always- well most of the time, its great. Sometimes on Friday, the service at the bar is not so good. Over all though, we enjoy Jakes!

Waitress was super rude to our group and drinks weren t that good. Won t be coming here again.

Well... not many places in the LBK bring rock bands. Sometimes they actually have some great shows too. But on a normal weekend it's a nice atmosphere. Big place. Hot waitresses. They serve food too but I've never had it. Definitely worth checking out. 5 star for Lubbock cuz of the shows.

Great food, fairly prompt service. Server, and bartender, seemed to feel that a 22% tip was inadequate.

Stood in line for 45 minutes to be told it's cash only. It's 2018 for God's sake.

This used to be one of the best places to get a bloody mary, but they seem to have forgotten that talent
Food is good and service depends on which waitress you get.

This used to be our go too place to have a couple of beers and play some pool. Everytime we go in were respectful and cause no trouble at all. Then one day we go in and the manager in charge follows me to the restroom and stands behind me at the stall. I turn around and he asked me if I have coke??? (Not the kind you drink) Then told me that I would have to leave. Not only do we not mess with that type of drug but were so shocked we would even be asked that. We were so confused and felt so violated. Like anyone in this situation would do I confronted the manager and asked him why he would think that we were doing that? And he said yall look like the type that would be doing coke..I was stunned and told him I wanted a corporate number and he repeatedly he kept saying that his dad was the owner and he could do what ever he wanted. I will never ever step foot in a place like this again. I've never felt so embarrased and profiled in my life!!!

Stopped in for a COUPLE beers.Added a COUPLE shots. Relaxed and had a good conversation with a FRIEND.

I went to see a musical group. They did a good job, but the drinks tasted very watered down.

It's a cool place to go and relax but a little understaffed

When I called to ask a question, someone who did not work there answered and refused to help me. But other then that I've had a great experience.

This place is better than nothing. I don't like that they allow smoking in there.
Parking always seems to be an issue just like any other bar.
Normally I would not have stepped into this place if it weren't for my friends and family wrestling in the backroom.

Who don't love Jakes?!!?! The shows there are always cool andsome of your favorite bands from back in the day back in a small venue or up and coming bands. But we need s'more rockabilly shows there complete with ratrods a stand up bass or 2 and of course pin ups

I would say it's wonderful to have drinks just be careful when you order food

Okay place to eat the only issue I had was the cigarette smoke and smell.

Excellent place to unwind after working 4-7 12 hr. might shifts in a row. Shout out to Coco for being an excellent server. Ask for her.. first time our group got to have her as a server. We will ask for her every time from here on out.

Great food, great music and great beer with friends!

Went here for the Jelly Roll show. The back room is cramped and the air conditioning does not work very well, but i assume haveing 500+ people in any room will make the ac not work too well. Drinks are WAY too expensive, but thats at basically any venue.

Had a wonderful time with family and friends here listening to Element. Reason for the 3 stars was only because the bar tender tipped themselves when you buy a drink. BEWARE so don't tip them otherwise, as they add the price automatically :(

Great food and Great service at a reasonable price. They also have an excellent acoustic duo on Fridays 5:30 till around 7:30. Great way to finish the work week!

Don't sit at a table there is rude waitress that has dark short curly she must really hate her job. She over looked me and my husband about 7 times to serve tables around us without even saying a word. Even had looked us straight in the eye each time. We finally had to go sit at the bar to get a drink. This place has gotten ridiculous

I have been to some live shows here plus they open at 7am and have a pretty good breakfast if you are hungry. I will have the Omelette with a side of whiskey. The prices are almost as friendly as the bartenders and staff. I am not a regular but I go to this place often. Any place that keeps me going back is worth the 5 stars.They have a jukebox kinda place with pool tables and darts. Your choice of seating Booths, tables, or bar, but no outside seating.

OK,well,I have 2 reviews. First one is for morning/day shift weekday. They are all great. They deserve a 5 star. Afternoon/evening shift always sucks. Never come back to check on you,always take at least 15-20 minutes to acknowledge us.

bar food and the atmosphere here is very good. This place does it for me.

Morning crew is great, 6 stars for them folks. Night crew, nope. Won't be there in the evening anymore.

I usually only go to Jake's for concerts in backroom, never dined in. The only issue is that the restroom is never working properly so you're limited to only 1 or 2 stalls.
