The only place to eat a great lunch with friends in Wilson

Cuisine is nothing less than perfect and reasonably priced! Delicious all around.

Quaint little place with quality food. Our server, Morgan, was pleasant and attentive. We shared the trigger fish with red potatoes and green beans and it was cooked beautifully. Will be back!

Great food!! The baby back ribs are scrumptious. They fall right off the bone, no need to pick up and mess up your hands. Many other delicious items on the menu.

First experience at Jac's Grill and both service and food were excellent. Nice bar area. Excellent food at a fair price. Highly recommend and I will be going back.

After long road trip, hotel staff recommended this resturant. Good portions at reasonable prices. Ribs, rib-eye steak and spicy shrimp great choices.

Dining room seating too close together. My husband and I felt like we couldn't have a conversation without everyone around us listening. Waitress was awesome. Very attentive. Got the oyster appetizer... the food was ok but the portion was very small even for an appetizer. My husband got the ribeye and he was extremely underwhelmed. No seasoning. I got the salmon Oscar and it was a good portion and decent. Probably won't go back.

Food wasn't as good as it has been at our last visit however nice atmosphere and decent food.

We ordered lunch for 13 people on Thursday the 15th and everything was correct. Food was amazing and delicious. Dr Carter and I had the Tuna burger and they were cooked to perfection.

Ever felt like you were an invisible guest at someone else's birthday party? Yeah, it was that odd. The food came late, and it was like they didn't care because we weren't regulars (our first time there). We literally felt like unwelcome intruders. Old Wilson cliques.

The food was delicious and the service was excellent.

In town on business and I have eaten here a couple of times. Liked the atmosphere and the food/drinks were really good. Staff seemed pleasant although not always quick to respond (had to ask for drink refills a couple of times). Would recommend and would return!

This place ROCKS!!!!!!! BEST STEAKS AROUND!!!! Our go to place for banging @$$ food, I wish it was more kid/family friendly, but with food like this WHO CARES!?!!? Beware if you bring kids you will be the odd man out, with glaring people mad bc you brought your kids, but the food here is incomparably scrumptious, best food in Wilson, hands down, no one is even close, I just wish I could bring my kids w/o pissing off other diners, I could literally eat here every day for the rest of my life and NEVER get sick of the steak, thanks guys, Y'ALL ROCK!!! As for the Susan lady, she only posts bad reviews, she is probably on of those people that likes how her own farts smell, if you review, why only negative? Internet TROLL, probably works or owns a restaurant the pathetically tries to compete with perfection, lady just go smell your farts and be happy, no need to trash such a greag place and detour others from such great food. Maybe if the reviews are so good and YOURS sucks, then maybe it's just YOU that sucks, troll

Stopped in for a delicious lunch and enjoyed the tuna burger and Jac's burger.

Easily one of the best restraunts in Wilson. The meals can be pricey, but they are always perfect. Great atmosphere and the best servers in town too.

The server was very friendly. People that arrived after my party of 3, got their food, ate, and was just getting ready to leave when our food showed up. I had the hamburger steak cooked done. What I've got was a piece of meat (I think) that was so dry that if it were any drier the President would have to declare a national emergency due to a water shortage. The asparagus was really good, but mashed potatoes without butter. Who does that? Definitely not impressed.

Great food! The steak was cooked perfect and the loaded potato pankace was amazing. Service is a little slow but they are very nice.

Just called for a table for 10. They don't take reservations. Then I called back to asked how long the wait would be. I received an annoyed response and the person hung up the phone on me.

The food came and my slab of baby back ribs loaded with sauce was put on top of my mashed potatoes! Do not mess up the potatoes with barbecue sauce slathered all over it. Baby back ribs were stringy and dry! Asparagus were boiled and not seasoned. Jac's grill can't take their time to grill their vegetables? Will not go there again. On another note, we were the only ones in the room of color (not necessarily black) and service took quite a long time. We sat there and waited for our check for 15-20 minutes after we were finished with our meal. To make matters worse, when we left, the host hesitated to give an awkward "bye" way to go to make someone feel welcomed. Still gave a 10% tip out of decency, but we did not have good food nor good service.

Dinner was superb tonight! I ordered the 4oz Filet, pan fried green beans and red potatoes. The steak was delicious and perfectly cooked (medium rare). Red potatoes we tasty and over seasoned. Green beans were crispy and flavorful! Save room for cheesecake! The fried banana cheesecake is awesome! Waitress and staff are extraordinary... very friendly and attentive... my tea was never empty. Highly recommend Jac's!

Loved the ribs, but not the best mashed potatoes. Reliable food and lively atmosphere. Good service.

Great food!! I ordered an eight oz. filet, sweet potatoes and stack onions. It was one of the best meals I have ever ate.

Went on a Saturday evening and were there when the doors opened. First of all what is up with those TINY tables along the wall ? There is plenty of room for a table at least 6 inches wider. Really cramped feeling. The waitress was sub par and not attentive at all. My husband and I are small people but she brought us enough bread for one person and we finally had another waitress bring us more. They did not give us an option for butter vs the pineapple butter, which was not very good at all. Both of us had meat and both meats were overcooked. The green beans were way too crunchy. Although some people like veggies barely cooked, these were ridiculous. For the price, service and quality we will not be back. Not sure how this restaurant got all the great reviews.

Went with a group of 6 from work on a Tuesday night. Our server was friendly and attentive. The menu option of being able to choose your protein, starch, veggie and sauce is inspired.

All in all the experience was nice. However I think it's a little overpriced.i would recommend but carry some extra money.

Higher end cuisine and good selection of wine and beers. The butters are made in house and are switched up weekly i believe. They had a honey lemon butter and also a cranberry butter, both were amazing! I ordered the goat cheese and apple salad with friend chicken on top which was delicious.

The food wasn t bad! Nothing over the top to say the least!
Service was fast, presentation and serving amount was enough, but it seemed like it was missing something,maybe character, and an advertised specialty/steak was a thin cut ribeye 1/2 and wasn t cooked right!
Calamari appetizer was way over seasoned /salty, and chewy.
All and all I had an ok dinner....

Went there last night with Family to celebrate the wonderful news about my Grandson accepting a job which he will start after he graduates from College in May. The food was delicious. I actually got an appetizer of buttermilk fried shrimp in a yummy spicy sauce and a good salad for my dinner and there were plenty of shrimp. I couldn't eat all of them. I would certainly go again.

I have been here 3 times for lunch with a group. The food is OK. The last time I went, I ordered the shrimp and grits which were horrible. I had a few bites and ate part of something someone else ordered. Later, someone in our party who comes here more often told me that if they had known what I would order, they would have advised against it from their previous experience. It is an ok restaurant; I would advise against ordering the shrimp and grits.

Nice local restaurant that sits off the main Street behind an Aldi's. I had grilled swordfish, whipped potatoes, and grilled asparagus. I will say the swordfish was an exceptionally large piece and was very tasty with the sauce and flavorings they placed on it. The server (I believe her name was Debbie) was friendly and always smiling. If in Wilson again this place will be on our list of stops.

Higher end than something like Olive garden with decent prices

Very nice dining! The calamari was extremely tasty. My main course was the 8oz filet was ok. I was little disappointed with. The starch, mashed potatoes, and vegetables, asparagus, were very good, however.

One of the best dinner places in Wilson. The crab dip is great.

Good food and drinks in Wilson. Pretty pricey for the area. Service is good enough but food comes out slowly at lunchtime. Do not come here for a quick meal you will need time.

I went there tonight with my brother and boyfriend, I had the chopped steak. It was supposed to be medium well, with asparagus and mashed potatoes. We had an appetizer of spinach artichoke dip, I wasn't a fan of the dip, but I'd never had it before. It took an hour just to get our appetizer which was blamed on the kitchen being understaffed, yet I saw tables come in, eat and leave before we even got our meal. My chopped steak was so well done that it was barely edible, it was extremely dry. The mashed potates were ok, but I thought it was very strange that I had to ask for butter for them becase there wasnt any on them. The sparagus was cooked perfectly though, it was the best part of the meal, unfortunately. The waitress was really sweet but even returning with our change took forever, we got tired of waiting and left. We won't be back after this fiasco of a meal.

One of the best lunch spots in Wilson! The tuna burger is phenomenal!

We went on a Friday night and it was quite busy and the staff did the best they could to keep up, but you could tell they were overwhelmed. Still, they remained courteous and friendly. The food was very good (but not the best ever) and came out quickly. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience and I would go back.

Food was delicious and the service was great will visit again.

I've been here twice and ordered two different meals. The first was one if their salads with grilled chicken. The second was marinara pasta. The salad was decent but the pasta tasted like a can of chefboyarde complete with overcooked noodles and bland sauce sprinkled with a dusting of cheese. Service was excellent and the atmosphere was relaxing. This is the only redeeming factors I can find thus far. I've been told that the burgers are the best option to order so if I find myself out on a company provided lunch I may give this place one more shot.
