Jacobson designed and did all the construction for a new entertainment patio in our backyard. The end result was even better then we imagined! The patio looks absolutely amazing and also the new landscaping surrounding the area! We were so pleased with not only the quality of their work but also the communication from our job manager throughout the entire process as well as their overall timelines. We were told to expect the project to take about a week and a half and they were done in exactly one week! Just in time to enjoy our new space with family and friends for the summer!

Jacobsen Landscaping was a pleasure to work with. Despite the weather working agaist them, they stayed as close to their timeline as they could and were always prompt showing up every morning ready to work. They kept the site clean every day and put everything away before they left every evening. They were always very accommodating and happy to change things or move things around when I asked, never making me feel like I was putting them out. And since the work has been completed, they ve actually come back twice and re seeded an area that had been washed out by rain. They have also assured me that they will come back in the spring to check up on everything and make sure all the plants are growing as they should. WE contracted for removal and replacement of small trees and plants on the north side of our house. Nothing had been done for over 30 years. We were happy with Glenn and the design, and the quote was fair. The work also include upgrading of a rock wall in another location. I talked to Nick Rodriguez on a Tuesday and outlined the project. I did not return until the following Monday. Everything was done correctly with no supervision from me. Jacinto and Franklin were the main workers, and the job involved heavy equipment and lifting heavy rocks, All was done perfectly. Jacobsen is also sending by a sprinkler designer to adjust the heads in the lawn to insure the new trees and plants are adequately watered. I could not be happier, especially since I was not on site during the process. We have used Jacobsen before and will continue to do so. I highly recommend this firm.

Hired Jacobsen for a landscaping job and a brand new sprinklers system, It was a pleasure to work with Glenn (the owner). And Kudos to Curtis and Miguel, both were very helpful and great at executing the work. They came back few weeks later (at no charge) to fix a minor issue. Not the best experience. Responsiveness and follow up has been a challenge. I had a number of trees sprayed and one relocated to plant new Arborvitae. The Arborvitae Jacobsen planted are thriving and look great however the trees that were sprayed look terrible and the relocated tree died immediately which they attributed to severe shock. Next time I will have a tree specialist handle the tree work.

We use Jacobsen for our sprinkler upkeep each year. Joey Diaz continues to deliver excellent service with his recommendations and knowledge and we look forward to each of his visits.

We hired Jacobson landscaping this spring to transform the backyard of our new home. We had no grass, many dead/dying trees and too much moisture around our home. Mark helped us with the vision and plan to create a backyard we can now enjoy ... and worked within our budget. Nick, Jacinto, Mario, and many others on the team worked hard to execute our vision - removing trees and excess brush, installing a drainage system, and installing new topsoil and seed. Not only did they do an amazing job on our lawn, they came back after the work was finished to ensure quality. For example, there was a big rain storm a few days after the seed was planted and they came back to re-seed since much of it washed away. We are so happy we chose Jacobson Landscaping for this project.

I've been an admiring client and recommender of Jacobsen's Landscape and Maintenance services for 40 years. This year, Terry, Gus and their Maintenance Service teammates are continuing to keep my property looking its best.

In the last month, I had the following reason to admire and recommend Jacobsen's Construction services. In this year's frequent intense rains, the right half of my large backyard would become "a large lake" because it was lower than areas around it, and deep layers of clay underneath a thin layer of topsoil prevented drainage. After much study, measurements, and discussion I agreed with Glenn, Brian and Nick R. on a comprehensive fix. They communicated closely with me as the expert Jacobsen Construction Team removed existing plant material, sank enormous dry wells, replaced huge areas of clay with good soil, regraded the area, created swales for runoff, saved the irrigation system, installed sod to protect from future erosion and re-landscaped. As it was, the job was huge---involving Jacobsen's excavators, bulldozers, enormous expertise, careful coordination and great teamwork. Rain, every two or three days, soaked equipment operators, Miguel C., Fabian and Nick R., and made the area they were working in a sea of deep mud, bogging down their machines and making their work much more difficult. But with grit, muscle and know-how they fixed a giant drainage problem and gave me back a beautiful yard.

My sprinkler system is maintained by a Jacobsen and I couldn t be happier. Joey Diaz arrived promptly and I appreciated the fact that he was considerate enough to wear booties into my home to protect my floors and carpet (it was pouring outside). He answered all my questions and concerns and was very professional. I would highly recommend Jacobsen for any of your landscape needs.

I've been using Jacobsen Landscaping since 2007. The first project was a complete pool area overhaul, which they not only completed on time, but did a great job. Since then, they have been maintaining my landscaping, installed and maintaining my irrigation. They have also installed my landscape lighting. I also have them do all my flowers and plantings.

The crew is professional and communicates great, my current account manager is a great guy (Dave). Every October we have an Oktoberfest party and Dave gets the crew to really decorate the place with corn stalks, pumpkins and other plants. Plus we have spring and fall plantings done every year.

I am very pleased with the excellent customer service I have received from Jacobsen Landscape Design & Construction. We hired the Jacobsen crew last summer to revamp our front yard with new plant beds and plants. Unfortunately some of the plants didn t make it through the winter. Nick was assigned to come out and take a look a couple of weeks ago and he was terrific to work with. He was professional and I felt he genuinely understood and cared about my concerns. Without any question he quickly sent out a crew to replace the plants that didn t survive and clean up all areas they had planted just a few months prior. Jason and Daniel did a nice job getting our front yard spruced up and alive again. I am proof that Jacobsen stands behind their work!

I am thrilled with my new sprinkler system. Everyone from Jacobsen was courteous and helpful at every turn. Putting pipes into the lawn requires digging, so the lawn was dug and some of my plants had to be removed. However, the crew replaced all the plants and tamped and seeded the lawn where they had to dig. I just wish I'd done this sooner! I would recommend Jacobsen to anyone considering an automatic sprinkler system.

We've been using Jacobsen for several years for our landscaping (they took care of our backyard flooding) and recently started using them for our sprinklers. Rich came the other day to turn on the sprinklers and he was FANTASTIC - efficient, helpful, explained everything he did and even took care of the swarm of ants he found along the way. Jacobsen Landscaping held an auction last March, where they knowingly allowed a truck with a fouled transmission to be sold. This truck did not fall into drive, only reverse, and was a total loss of money and waste of time. While they may respond assuming no liability due to the auction being held by a third party, I believe it s important to note this incident, and how they conduct their business.

We were very pleased with Jacobsen. They provide excellent service, respond immediately, clean and are professional. The perimeter plantings and rock fire pit garden looks fantastic. I highly recommend Jacobsen Landscaping. I had my large, inground pool filled in and the Jacobsen team coordinated very well with the pool demo company. They designed and implemented a landscape plan for the new space that fit well together with the existing backyard hardscaping, irrigation system, and plantings. Owner Glenn created the original design and was responsive to my requests and changes. Crew manager Nick, along with Santiago and Cesar, worked tirelessly to make sure everything was done according to the plan, and then some. Nick and his team were always very professional, personable, flexible, and accommodating. Glenn and Nick communicated with me in a timely fashion throughout the process. Nick also had wonderful suggestions for plantings that coordinated seamlessly with the existing trees and shrubbery. I would not hesitate to call them in again for future projects.

When they say design to build, they are not kidding! I was part of the entire process, changing things along the way. Glenn, Nick and co. really wanted to make sure that I was happy with everything.

The water feature turned out great! We made changes to the wall and made it a bit higher, rounded it and even extended the patio. Best of all, it all connects with the other side of the yard like it was always here.

Brian and Jason have been excellent stewards of our lawns, beds, landscape architecture, shrubs and trees. Pricing is reasonable and the service is excellent. With Jacobsen -- there is not a thing these folks have done that I'm not happy with -- from chemical application, cutting, mulch, tree and shrub care and landscape repairs.

They originally installed an entire (3/4 acre) lot design years ago, (which I am still very happy with) and recently refreshed a large area around our pool to adapt to changing needs. We are thrilled with the new space and open views we gained.

Do not use Jacobsen Landscape Design
We have a residential maintenance contract for 2019 for our gardens which was signed last fall. We have rampant weeds. When we complained we were told that they had not scheduled enough time to weed our gardens... After much back and forth we agreed to pay more but were very disappointed with the results. The photo below is of one of our weed filled gardens in June 2019. It is very frustrating to work with them... as they do not keep their promises.

Jacobsen Landscape Design and Construction were AMAZING!! We were having a water drain issue in the backyard and also wanted to utilize the space better. Two other landscape companies said they couldn t do anything and Jacobsen, specifically Mark Milidantri, assessed and came up with solution, and it looks GREAT (along with no more water issue) and beautiful space in the backyard!!!!!!!!!!! My sprinkler system is maintained by Jacobsen. This morning they turned it on. Joey and his teammate were very professional - arrived on time, worked fast and left the place clean after repairs. They answered all my questions and were polite and attentive. Good job!

Always the best customer service, prompt replies and very professional. Marnie is a huge help in the Irrigation office and we had the pleasure of meeting JP today who was extremely nice and very professional and very helpful in explaining irrigation options and fixing some of our sprinkler heads. He was so patient with my 1 and 3yr old boys running around interrupting our conversation. Thank you JP and the whole Jacobsen team!
