Brought Jacobsen in to do plantings and mulch work. They exceeded expectations, would definitely recommend.

We use Jacobson for all of our landscaping needs, but recently hired them to repair a patio that another landscaping company didn't build properly. They did an amazing job. As always their prices we're fair and they finished in a timely fashion. We will only be using them from now on for all of our outdoor construction and landscaping needs.

I am happy to write this review regarding a recent project that we just completed withJacobsen Landscape Design. Our patio pavers were replaced with bluestone and all of the landscaping was redesigned. We couldn t be more pleased with the professionalism and workmanship of Ricky and Gustavo, our crew and Kris our project manager was always available and responded to our email questions immediately. The project went smoothly and we are very happy with the final result.

We have used Jacobsen for 5 years now. We started with a major project -- full landscape design around our pool including detailed stone work and a fireplace. Their work and service is impeccable. Additionally, they maintain our property throughout the year with great attention to detail. I would highly recommend the Jacobsen team!

Very professional. Owner followed up on worksite throughout job. Quickly returned calls and emails. Stayed within our budget. The landscape project turned out exactly and even better than we had planned.

We completely renovated our back yard pool area and with Jacobsen's expert help it was turned into a paradise for outdoor living. The stone work was fabulous but the lighting made it exceptional. Kevin's knowledge and helpful suggestions highlighted the property in a subtle but spectacular way. I recommend them highly.

Jacobsen did extensive landscape design work for us and we are very pleased with all aspects of their job. From the start they provided creative ideas and were very collaborative with the design. During the work phase the staff (Nick, Marcelo and Miguel) were very professional, friendly, and accommodating. They kept us updated each day and patiently reviewed details of the job with us and made any changes we requested eagerly. They kept the site very clean, worked quickly, and clearly took pride in the end result which was fantastic. We would recommend Jacobsen to anyone considering them for landscape work.

Jacobsen renovated our pool area. We had concrete surrounding the pool that was 30 years old and showed it. They replaced it with pavers. It now looks like a space that could be in a design magazine.

My business uses Jacobsen for snow removal. We could not be happier with the response time from Nick Rodriguez in this past snow event. You can always count on Jacobsen's employees.

I used Jacobsen Landscaping recently at my home in Ramsey. It was the 3rd time in a 9 month period. They were professional from the beginning to the end of the project. Most recently they excavated the rear section of my yard to level, to remove stumps that were grinded and the associated debris. They worked through the rain on Thursday. Holger and Jose did a fantastic job. Daniel also worked the job on Friday.They are customer focused and communicate well. Jacobsen also designed the front and side of my home, looks fantastic. I had inquired with other services and they were also priced competitively. Overall they exceeded my expectations and plan to use them on additional projects. Strongly recommend.

Jacobson s is a feast alternative to the local kid with a lawnmower. They are very Proffesional. They are on the pricey side so be prepared but the work is done quickly and very high quality.

Only reason 3 stars is because I asked them to come back out and correct a weak mulch area and they never responded.

When we purchased our new home 3 years ago, we were happy with everything except our yard. With an odd shape, and slope, we knew that we would have to hire someone with a lot of experience and knowledge in landscape design. We interviewed 3 companies, and the first time we sat with Glenn, we knew that they were the only one to work with. He not only took the time to understand what we were looking to do, he got to know us on a personal level, which ultimately helped him with his design recommendation. He really wanted to match the design with how our family would use the space for the next 20 years. Glenn also has a very good team that worked with us. Mark on the design and Nick managing the project from start to finish. They weren't satisfied unless we were satisfied. There was constant communication to get every detail correct. The entire team executed their plan and also worked with us on some of the ideas we had. The end result is a yard that is truly an oasis. Every time we host a party or small get together, someone walks away asking for Glenn's contact information. Are their prices more than someone with a small company, or less experience? Sure. But a project like this is not something you want to cheap out on. I believe in getting what you pay for. And I can assure you that you will get what you pay for and more with Jacobsen. Before you move ahead with another company, make sure you bring in Jacobsen for a look. You will not be disappointed.

The Jacobsen team worked closely with us to develop a design and plan for replacing old concrete paver pathways, pool deck, and patio area. They incorporated elements from the existing design and suggested changes that complimented the surrounding rock walls and shrubbery. Josh, Nick and Fabian's team coordinated each phase of the project in a professional manner and adhered to the proposed timeline. The areas disturbed by machinery and staging of materials were restored to "as new" appearance at the end of the job. We couldn't be more pleased with the way Jacobsen's team performed. Excellent service. Spring cleanup was perfect. They now do power washing which made the patio, walkway and driveway stones look like new. One stop shopping. Josh, Rich and their crews are true professionals.

Being an employee, one may think my opinion is biased, but I've got to admit: this is the best company to work for. My experience here has been very fulfilling. This is a top tier, professional outfit. All employees care and give their best effort. We take pride in making our customers' properties beautiful. After three years here, I'm still all in. Kudos!

We used Jacobsen for a large project involving expanding our patio, leveling the yard with a retaining wall, and installing a bar counter and fire pit. Throughout the project Glenn, Nick and their team took the time to clearly explain all aspects of the project and incorporate any feedback that we had. What resulted was an amazing transformation of our backyard that will allow us to enjoy the space more than ever before.
The quality of work, attention to detail and helpfulness of the entire crew are second to none. I highly recommend them for any project and we plan
to use them on future projects. We also switched our general landscaping to Jacobsen and are beyond pleased with the service and knowledge of that team as well.

GORGEOUS work on our property!! Our neighbors have all commented on what a difference it's made to the neighborhood. Their sprinkler guys are great, they built us a beautiful new patio, added tons of plants (including at the very last minute), and put down great sod. Very satisfied and would definitely recommend and use again!

Over the decades Jacobsen Landscape has provided our maintenance service as well as completing several large scale construction projects. In every case we have received quality service, materials and superb customer support after the jobs have been completed. We received good value for our money and have been impressed with the quality and professionalism of the staff. It has been a good experience.

We have been using Jacobsen Landscape to maintain our sprinkling system for the past few years and always have reliable service each year. This year, for our annual system turn on, their technician Joey Diaz was kind enough to phone ahead to say he could come earlier than expected and arrived at the time we agreed upon. He was punctual, considerate (by covering his shoes with plastic booties), personable, and performed his review and repairs efficiently and without having to go back to the office for any parts (everything he needed was in his truck). I prepay my service with Jacobson ahead of time and am always able to schedule my appointments at a time convenient for me with a 4 hr window. Most times as Joey did, the technician would call ahead and say he could fit me in earlier. I would definitely recommend this company.

Jacobsen Landscape has been our landscaper for several years and has done an impeccable job, far more reliable and professional than other services we've had in the past. So when we had a couple landscape projects (driveway with pavers, new drainage, sprinklers), we gave them a try. The owner, Glenn, is personally involved and made sure that we were getting exactly what we wanted, both in design and execution. Their crew chief, Nick, communicated everything that was happening along the way, including any possible disruption at our home, and he consulted us in advance on anything where we might want to have input. Their work was really excellent.

I just had pruning and landscape design work done. This was my first time using Jacobsen Landscape for other than irrigation purposes. Dave Pilaar made a beautiful design, transforming my boring and barren backyard into a beautiful place my family & I can enjoy by ourselves as well as feel proud to entertain in! His crew worked constantly & diligently in extreme heat & were very professional. Brian Piacente adjusted the irrigation system immediately to assure the plants would survive in the brutal heat. I am very thankful for everyone's interest, time, & efforts.

We chose Jacobsen for our landscape design and installation and could not be happier. Mark Milidantri's design plan was current and modern. He really listened to our wishes and his design plan was exactly our taste and style. It was so helpful that he came prepared with picture images of the plant material he had selected for us. We were extremely happy with the installation as well. The crew leader Jared's customer service is amazing. Everything from letting us know what was going to happen and when to addressing all of our concerns and making changes. The quality of the plant material is top notch as well. We will highly recommend Jacobsen.

I very much appreciate the work that Jacobsen did on my rock walls. They responded to my inquiry in a timely fashion and provided a professional, detailed assessment of the required work. Miguel and Herman executed that plan and were flexible when I had to change the timeline slightly. I am so glad we hired Jacobsen. Our flagstone front walkway was falling apart, and our tiny backyard was overgrown, long overdue for restoration. Having just removed the kid's trampoline from the 13-foot wide by three-foot deep hole I dug for it 15-ish years ago, I did not want to spend my summer filling it back in. A lifelong DIY-guy, I was ready for some help. From the first planning visit until the last grass seed was down, Glenn Jacobsen and his team Nick, Jacinto and Mario impressed us with their personal attention, professionalism, hard work, thoroughness and respect for the job, even though I'm sure it was a fraction of the scope/scale of most of their other contracts. Glenn took time first to walk the area with me and explain his approach to our unique situation lots of shade, tight spaces, an older brick patio with sloping edges and rotten timbers, drainage challenges and well intended but misplaced plantings. We negotiated options, settled on a plan and the job began within two weeks. The crew arrived on time every day, and asked questions or explained their work along the way. Nick made regular visits to review progress and troubleshoot to stay on schedule. Glenn even stopped by early mornings and left his inspection notes for us. Ten days later, despite an unusual about of rain, our yard looked brand new with clean lines, neatly planted beds, a refreshed patio and a handsome new walkway from the sidewalk to the front door. We were especially impressed with Jacobsen's hardscaping. The patio work required a lot of precision cutting and deep cleaning, and it really looks new. Oh, and this week the grass in the rear lawn and around the front walk started to sprout, right on schedule. Now if they could just do something about all this rain ;-)

We are very pleased with the work Jacobsen Landscaping did in our new backyard with a pool and outdoor kitchen. It looks beautiful, and very harmonious with the surrounds.

It was a bigger project that we had anticipated, with retainer wall, lots of soil movement, water collection tanks, tree removals, tons of permits Glenn took the time to understand our requests and wishes, and guided us through the process to help us make the right decisions wrt pool construction company selection, the construction needs, details and timing. He also walked us thorough his patio design concept, material selection, and plant choices, among many others. Their Design Showroom with hardscape options was really helpful.

Every single team member that worked in the project was courteous and professional. They all took pride in their work, and were always working hard and diligently, under cold, rain and harsh sun, to commit to the deadlines without compromising the final product. Overall we are very pleased with choosing Jacobsen as the landscaping company for this project and would definitely recommend them.

Glenn and Nick did a great job supervising the fine work done at our house. We had to completely rebuild our front stoop, as well as install a new pathway to the door. Both were done on schedule. At times, I felt that their communication was not as strong as it could have been, however, the quality of their work made up for that one flaw. I highly recommend them

Miguel and his crew did a fantastic job pruning! He listened carefully and did everything I asked, spending two full days here. Much appreciated!

Jacobsen Landscape Design did fantastic job putting in a new walkway and landscaping in the front and back yard. The initial quote was a bit pricy but we worked with Glen to adjust the proposal to get within our price range without diminishing the beauty of the final outcome. Nick, Fabian and Miguel wear all professional and pleasant to work with!

I am an irrigation customer for the past approximately 13 years and have always been very, very happy with the service. Joey Diaz in the irrigation department is very knowledgeable, efficient, and kind. The company always knows the local water-usage restrictions and alerts you to any changes throughout the season. It's always a pleasure to work with Jacobsen's irrigation department!

Beautiful work by Jacobsen. They built a stunning fieldstone wall and bluestone steps and walkway that perfectly suit the house and property. Very responsive to all my questions and any concerns. At the recommendation of the irrigation technician, we had the Rachio system installed this summer and it has made a huge improvement in the amount of water our sprinkler system uses and therefore in our water bill as well.

For nearly 10 years our family has worked with Jacobsen Landscape for plantings, lighting & sprinklers. Recently, we had a small project that they handled. Most companies would push this size project off and fill the calendar with bigger dollar signs, but Brian P worked us into the schedules as soon as he was able (close to 2 weeks earlier than originally thought).
Holger & Jose did a fantastic job removing the very overgrown and unruly shrubs and replaced with beautiful, full, healthy shrubs. They cleaned up all of the area (beyond what they encountered) and were thorough to make sure they plants were to our liking and placed where we wanted. Thumbs up!!!!

Jacobsen asked me to write a review and if I wasn't satisfied with their work, I wouldn't be writing this review at 12:50am when I could be sound asleep! Mark, Brian, Jacinto, and Vito were my group of guys who did our front and back yard landscaping and boy, did they do a really fab job. From inception everything was super professional and well thought out. Mark took the time to explain the design in detail (several times) to a bunch of plant-newbies and his team followed the design meticulously. They really cared about whether or not they did a good job and asked me several times if I was satisfied with how they laid everything out, the finished product, etc. They took their time and did not rush which at least made me feel like a valued client - too many businesses these days cannot grasp this simple concept! All my requests were attended to and they even helped swap out some plants the next day that I wasn't too keen on. I will definitely call on them again for any future work. Thank you for doing a fantastic job, Jacobsen!

Joey D was a great service technician! He found a few sprinkler heads that were broken and was able to fix them on the spot saving me $$$ on water! Thank you!!!
