I've been an admiring client and recommender of Jacobsen's Landscape and Maintenance services for 40 years. This year, Terry, Gus and their Maintenance Service teammates are continuing to keep my property looking its best.

In the last month, I had the following reason to admire and recommend Jacobsen's Construction services. In this year's frequent intense rains, the right half of my large backyard would become "a large lake" because it was lower than areas around it, and deep layers of clay underneath a thin layer of topsoil prevented drainage. After much study, measurements, and discussion I agreed with Glenn, Brian and Nick R. on a comprehensive fix. They communicated closely with me as the expert Jacobsen Construction Team removed existing plant material, sank enormous dry wells, replaced huge areas of clay with good soil, regraded the area, created swales for runoff, saved the irrigation system, installed sod to protect from future erosion and re-landscaped. As it was, the job was huge---involving Jacobsen's excavators, bulldozers, enormous expertise, careful coordination and great teamwork. Rain, every two or three days, soaked equipment operators, Miguel C., Fabian and Nick R., and made the area they were working in a sea of deep mud, bogging down their machines and making their work much more difficult. But with grit, muscle and know-how they fixed a giant drainage problem and gave me back a beautiful yard.
