Been going there for quite a few years with my daughter for bingo extravaganza and this year was ALOT different. Unfriendly staff, rarely come around to ask if you want sodas or drinks in the casino and the two days we spent there, NO BIG winners on any machines or card tables!! Bingo games picked this year were senseless cuz only had to get two numbers for a bingo on two different games, went fast and had 20 plus winners on each game!!! Took over 10 minutes each of those games to verify all winners!! Staff and crowd was getting very impatient!! Hopefully things are better if me and my daughter go back next year!! Couldn't stay at casino as rooms all booked AND room prices have gone way higher than last time!!

We stayed there this weekend for a wedding and we were very disappointed with our stay. Other than housekeeping staff, the staff were not friendly and at times actually rude. Many of the people working seemed like they didn t know how to do their jobs, nor liked their jobs and were not happy to be there. The food was expensive and not good at all. We were given a room with one bed even though we reserved a room with 2 beds. Upon notifying the front desk of this they didn t seem to care and so we requested a roll away which a friendly housekeeping staff brought promptly. I don t usually take the time to write a negative review but our experience was just so negative. During the middle of the night we were woken up by a fire alarm and no staff could be found during this entire time. One of my family members did see a staff member outside smoking and reading a book and when asked about what was going on he relied with I m sure it s nothing. Really? I understand that your staff work with the public and it gets old dealing with people but if you choose to work in this profession than act like you care about your job and the company you are working for. We will definitely not come back and would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

I go in once a week and play $10 in free play and $20 in cash and that hasn't done anything in months. Really wish I could get a bonus at least once but nope, the machines are tight as hell

The hotel was a great stay, however, when coming to the casino ,although being first time player, security did not do their job properly and when 30 min passed security wanted to ask for IDs which seemed so naive because they should of done their job since the beginning keep in mind we are +18. After further encounter with the security my sister decided to return to the room to retrieve her state ID and was rudely walked by the security which had no right to follow her all the way to the hotels entry and yet he denied to simply apologize for his behavior/action which seemed so childish coming from an adult therefore should have consequence for this certain behavior.

The visit was work related. As the Life Enrichment Manager for an assisted living, we made a day outing to the casino. The residents had a great time. We ate at the restaurant. The service was great, kind and genuine. There was an error on my bill but that was quickly and smoothly remedied. My only complaint was the lack of the big themed games such as Game of Thrones, Ted, Alice in Wonderland, Willy Wonka, or Wizard of Oz. Those are always some of my favorites.

Casino itself was ok, the hotel wasn't the greatest though. The pool area was completely overrun with kids and they had splashed water everywhere. We stayed in a non-smoking room, but hallway reeked of smoke. The beds were comfortable. It was a decent hotel, but nothing great about it, and I probably wouldn't stay there again.

The rooms need an update. They need to put fridges and microwaves in the rooms. People with kids bring snacks and drinks for them and it would be nice to have somewhere to keep them.

It is always a fun and great place to stay. I also have to compliment the housekeeper on my floor. She was very friendly and as I made my many trips to my room I noticed the extra care she put into making sure the rooms she took care of were exceptional. Great job Jackpot!

Have been to Jackpot multiple times, the experience varies each time. This time was not an exceptional experience. The remodeled restaurant/buffet LOOKS great, but the quality is lacking. First, very little variety in dinner AND dessert items (salad bar is acceptable!). The dessert area was almost barren, a few bars and a couple of danishes on a large empty platter. Went for the ice cream, the machine said it was low, and it shook as it gave out slow motion soft serve. Toppings were all empty except a half full bowl of Oreo pieces and a bowl of chocolate fudge. Looked like most had been sitting empty for quite a while. It was only 530/6pm. Our room? Was either freezing cold or a sauna! There was no happy medium! A serious draft was coming from the window/wall and it was hard to combat. Room service? Ugh. We didn't have a menu in the room and were told we needed to download it on our phones (on the wifi that doesn't work well). The button on the phone didn't work, had to go roundabout through the front desk to get to them. Rang 20x before someone answered and we were put on hold. Order placed, they said it would be 15 minutes - half hour later our order came incomplete. My husband had to call the front desk to be transferred to the restaurant to have the rest of the order brought to us. Lastly, not our own experience, but friends of ours were staying in another room. They found blood and bed bugs in their room. We didn't check our bed, to be honest, I didn't want to know... Overall, this stay was very disappointing. Besides the event that we come for twice a year, we will never make a trip to Jackpot Junction. The remodel work that has been done is gorgeous, but it means nothing if there's no quality elsewhere.

The room was dated, there were people In the hallway all night partying. I was on the first floor and the curtains wouldn't close. They advertised rooms in the casino for $60.00 when you go online they are $99.00. Wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

Same distance from Willmar to Jackpot as Prairies Edge so could go either direction, but the Edge has the edge! More fun at the Edge and friendlier staff and WAY better comps. Slots are more fun and pay out better too at Prairies Edge.

Jackpot used to be a great Casino to spend a few hours but since their remodel a few years ago it's lost its charm. It seems to have a smaller gaming area, no poker room, and the food prices have skyrocketed. It's still a nice place but I'll take my you gaming money to Prairies Edge from now on.

Poor payouts, inconsistancey in machine payouts. Win $10 one spin, 20 cents the next even at 5 dollar bets.

Only recieved $5 birthday free play, even though i spent $300.00 in cash.

The smoking permitted hotel rooms are a joke, and the showers suck not worth the heavy price tag..

The security guard told me he didnt trust that I was 18, on my 26th birthday.

I once had a server deny to get me a soda from her cart, because i was close to a fountain machine... This was while i was sitting down at a slot machine with over $100 in it.

I have never won anything worth leaving with from this casino.

But its usually a fun experience even if i paid for 3 of their employees weekly payroll.

I got the upgraded room with a pillow top mattress. It was very nice. The room was clean and quiet. I dislike all the walking to the room and down to the casino. It would be nice if you could access the rooms from the casino side, especially when you room is way at the end of the hallway.

I loved the Lobby with its Native American Artwork and coziness with the Caribou Coffee Shop!
The hotel desk clerks were very friendly & helpful.
Our Non-smoking King "Suite" room could have used a microwave & mini fridge (there's plenty of room for both!) but all in all, the price was fair, the room was clean, bathroom well stocked and the bed was clean & comfortable.
However, I will agree with other reviews...
The walls are quite thin hence the signs in the halls requesting people to be quiet between 10pm - 8am. No complaints on that though...we slept well and I'm a light sleeper!
We had Dinner & Breakfast at the Dacotah Restaurant there. I had the Prime Rib Sandwich ($12.00) which was wonderful! Perfectly cooked to my request of med-rare, the "other half" ordered the Dacotah Smokehouse Burger ($11.00) same temp... He devoured it! If we wouldn't have been so hungry I would have taken a photo of our dinners! Also, our server was wonderful!
For Breakfast I had the Eggs Benedict ($10.00) and he ordered some Lumber Jack meal! LOL! 2 Pancakes, 2 eggs, 3 Bacon, 3 Sausage & Hash Browns ($12.00!). Everything was really good, including the service... But the hash browns were the only downfall. They were perfectly cooked however we figured they must have been fried in stale oil. We didn't mention it to our server, but by then we were already full!
I suggest you skip the buffet and hit up the restaurant!

Visited during the lobster and steak buffet. The staff were great, very helpful. The problem I had was the quality of food. The lobster was dry, the steak were almost raw. The ribs were chewy... I have there when the food was better. It could have been an off day.

We went strictly for crab night, we didn't gamble or stay over.

These folks make THE best crab legs. You cant get them better anywhere else. And it's so reasonable! Where else can you eat AYCE crab legs for under $30? Insane. Not only is the crab awesome, there's a huge selection of other foods so if you have someone that doesn't love crab, they'll find plenty more to choose from. And the dessert assortment is crazy too. The best dessert they have is a cheesecake with fruit on top. The kids really liked the soft serve but we could have eaten that cheesecake all night.

In addition to the great food, the table service was excellent too. Now, keep in mind this place is absolutely packed on crab night. You'll wait anywhere from 15 mins to 45 depending when you show up, but once you get seated, the servers are very good about refilling beverages, getting extra napkins, trading out the crab bowls, etc. Treat them right, they're expected to do an impossible job on crab night.

What a great experience. It's why we keep going back.

Nice clean rooms. But the cell coverage is, without question, the worst I've ever experienced. If you're coming here to conduct business on your cell phone, I would not advise it. The security guard admitted that it's not very good. Too bad. I sorta like the place.

So here my brother and I sit. Tired and hungry s hell.. It's 11:41 pm and tbe temp outside sits at about 13 degrees and dropping.
We came for the last day of the charity gift promo which we participated in 3 times in a week.
We were going to get out and swing through for a lil while and be back by 11pm for me to be to work.
Things didnt go as planned because we are having significant car problems. We died near Gibbon and had to sit on a side street 3.6 miles from town for nearly an hour for it to cool start it sgain. From there we limped it to jackpot. Very slowly, running rough, and nervous we wouldn't make it.
When we got there we realized my brother had a free room due to his casino play. We hoped to stay and either get it dealt with or limp ir home in daylight (to Eden Prairie)
We realized we may not have the deposit but hoped due to special circumstances they could waive a security deposit
I'm 50 he is 47. Its sunday near midnight, wi ked dangerous cold, a car that could completely break down any moment in the middle of nowhere in near 0 temps. We asked and the manager said he he can' provide us a room without deposit because they had damaged rooms in the past. C'mon do we look like we are going to damage it. We want to sleep. Great customer service buddy. Way to show compassion and concern. Too cold to even just sleep in the car. Extremely dangerous situation trying to go tonight and with no exaggeration a situation that could turn out deadly in a blink of the eye.
And the deposit is $25. He determined that was worth more than their customers lives. Place is almost empty. Feel like we mean nothing as customers. Will not be back again. Sickening
