Held a group meeting in their private room, great service, very friendly servers and accommodating. Of course the food was great.

Pleasantly surprised. Nice atmosphere and great service. A little on the pricey side, but manageable.

Love the Cekola Pizza but would like them to remove the green peppers but they won't.

On the patio was a perfect experience. Niccole went above and beyond!! Great food!

Good service and great appetizers. The pizza was lacking though. Not much to it than grease and cheap cheese. Come for the bar, do not dine.

We come here regularly for the gluten free options. Drinks can be a bit thin but awesome food.

They had Mr.Pibb listed on the menu, when I ordered it I was told in a snotty tone, "We don't have that" when I mentioned it was on the menu she argued with me. Anyways we continued to order, and I order Chicken parm. I would think that they could have done better than Fazoli's on an order like that, but it was gross. Honestly the worst meal I have had in years. My wife wasn't very happy with her BLT either. How do you mess up a sandwich that easy. Needless to say poor food, and poor service. Won't go back and I won't recommend anyone else go there.

Delicious!!! We eat here often!!! Adam Sandler said, "That's a good meatball!", he was referring to Jac's meatballs!!!! Best meatballs, pizza, wings, steak, salad, drinks and dessert around!!! Hands down!!! No matter what your mood, they have it!!! Great service too!!!

Love their pizza's (specially the one that win the prize that had their logo in the menu) and the veggie sandwich (I believe was supposed to be a roll but they made a sandwich, and boy, it was delicious!!) - great service too. Nice place for happy hour!

Incredible pizzas, awesome food , awesome staff great place to eat, great place to meet friends have a couple of cocktails absolutely excellent environment I totally recommend this place. Great beer selection an incredibly good root beer also.

Bacon and cheese burger melt in your mouth. 1st time there definitely not the last. Service was fabulous. Nice inviting atmosphere.

Normally we love the pizza and wings. This time the Special tasted like it was a salt pizza. Couldn't finish it. We also ordered a cheese pizza. Somehow the cheese was burnt. Pizza should not be crispy. We'll give it one more shot, and update the review

Had the wonderful salad bar which included pizza, lots of other selections. .blackened chicken, mac and cheese, fresh fruit and eclairs. Yum.

Fair prices. Good portion sizes. Good atmosphere. Not overly crowded on a Saturday night.

The food was very good. The pizza was a little soft for our liking, but everything else was very good. The waitress (Grace) was very good. She interacted very well with our 3 year old son and 8 year old daughter. She was prompted and honest. We will definitely be going back.

Sunday's are make your own bloody Mary's and service is excellent !

I love so much of the food here... my husband gets to gonout more than me and wants their buffalo chicken dip recipe.... so good. One of my favorite places to eat.. also love the buffet. Mon through Friday 8.99 including a drink soup salad pizza dessert plus veggies and some sort of meat and pasta like today there was fried shrimp and clams cavitappi green beans two soups salad bar s ok many different pizzas came out bbq chicken seafood all the regular cheese pepperoni their specialities plus fresh fruit cookies and more...

Love the pizza and fun atmosphere. The family has been around forever and hasn't changed the cooking. When you find something good don't change it.

I had lunch there recently with 2 other co-workers. The server could tell that it was our first time there. She was very helpful....she answered all of our questions and gave us some great recommendations. She recommended their house pizza (can't remember what it's called), which was absolutely fabulous. I am not even a big pizza fan, and LOVED it!!!! The manager also stopped by a couple times to see how our meal was, and she was very friendly also. We couldn't believe they're been in Portage for over a year, and we'd never been there before. It was great and I would definitely recommend it.

Best Sports Bar in portage. Best waitress and customer service. Clean environment and all Football Games with the ticket you experience all games. Cold specials and great food .

We ordered the buffet for lunch the soup was luke warm the pizza on the buffet was cold so was the mac and cheese and clam strips the salads that we made where good that's why I gave them 2 stars the waitress was not great she took our drink order brought our drinks never brought us menus even though we asked complained about being tired never checked on us when we told her the food was cold she came back and said oh my manager tempted it and it's good well I'm sorry I work in the food industry I actually have a license from the state of Michigan and that food was no where near temp

Great place to watch a game and the staff is friendly, but the pizza was downright awful. Toppings sliding off with one bite and the crust was more similar to soggy pie crust than pizza. Maybe a bad day, but the staff and drink selection is the only reason for the 2 stars.

Love this place! The bartenders are fantastic! Food is great :) I wonder if the people complaining about bad service are rude customers, pretty standard practice for customers to be awful then take to the internet to bash the restaurant, just a thought :)

Absolutely love the food here and the upbeat environment! Best pizza ever!

Very disappointed. Wings were crispy and did not have any sauce on them. Place wasn't very busy and waters were not filled. Pizza tasted like store bought frozen pizza and worst of all, if you order the Cekola special, if you order the toppings that come on it and ask for one of those only on half of the pizza, they charge you for extra items. When my parents and I pointed out the extra charge on our bills, the manager came over, informed us that the menu states the pizzas come as is, and then only took off half of the overcharge on both bills. Apparently, customer service is not important to them. First and last time going.

Taco pizza was soggy and not crispy. Came here thinking it was a pizza joint, didn't realize it was a sports bar. Meh.

not sure what all the hype is about, the food is not even really good bar food. the bench along the back has ripped up seats that have been that way for a couple years. or are they the same benches from star world and meant to look like that? the macaroni salad in their lunch buffet was yellow on the top, from not being stirred... since i'm not sure how long. yuck. i can see why it would be considered a sports bar, with all the tv's. but as far as good quality bar food, i'm just hoping i didn't get food poisoning. the dessert was store bought cookies and the chocolate covered mini eclairs from gordon foods or across the street sam's club. tried this place 3 different times since they've opened years ago and have had the same experience. yuck. surprised they're opening one on stadium. people must like it ?? but, there are better places to go watch a football game with a helluva lot better food options.

Definitely the best place in town to watch NFL on Sundays. Plenty of beer to choose from and the food is great.

Food was just ok. Didn't want slaw or pickle on bbq. Got both. Obviously just scrapped off them both (you could see pieces of slaw on bottom) service was ok

Bad bad bad bad there customers are in important there pizza crust tastes like cardboard, there pasta was over done and was very bland and it cost me only five dollars less then eating at a stake house for the same two people

Apparently, i didn't order the best food. But my guests raved about their food. The buffalo chicken dip is out of this world.

I remember the original Cekola's Pizza where an older Italian guy with one hand missing would wait on customers, operate the cash register and probably make the pizza too.
The NEW Cekola's, (Jac's) is now just a sports bar with the same dozen TV's showing the same stupid Monkey Ball games as every other dumb ass sports bar in the Kalamazoo area. If you are deaf, you might enjoy going in and eating some pizza or whatever. If you are not deaf, you soon will be after stepping across Jac's threshold. There is no possibility that humans can carry on a conversation in JAC's environment.

Do yourself a favor and order the Cordon Bleu pizza.

Would of gave a better rating but when I was there this past Saturday sitting out on the deck. There was a birthday party going on which is fine until they were way over served. One of the guys kicked a chair so hard it bounced off the wall and into the side of me. The waitress seen all this happen. Didn't say anything to me like if I was alright. And then still proceeded to serve them more. I don't know when I will come back after this

Servers and host staff remember you from previous visits and work hard to deliver great service. The salads are amazing - they obviously pride themselves on customization and presentation.

Only a 4 star, cause sports bars aren't my thing, BUT they do have some really good food there, and the atmosphere ain't half bad either.

Easy for good food. Nice bar table, plus arcade games.

The JAC's Cristo wrap was excellent! The sweet potato waffle fries were among the best I've ever had, served with some maple dipping sauce. This is a great place for lunch!
