Jac's Cekola's Pizza Review

One size pizza and not very good to me but to each their own

Great place to watch a Packer game while enjoying great food and a friendly atmosphere.

We had the pizza and fried pickles both were great.The perch dinner wasn't very good it was dry.We also had the caprese salad was really good.We went on Saturday and with football going it was very busy and loud.

Only stopped in for a and had some Rangoon. Food and service was great!

Friendly staff and plenty if televisions to watch the game. Pizza is my favorite.

I have been fighting for the last few weeks and I am not a fan but I'm still trying to read my first book about it and I am not going anywhere else to make a difference to the Ohio department of education and the state department of education in my area to be able I would have been able if you were working with the team and the students in your area and your students will have a great day on your resume

Hosted party & they did a great job. Variety of pizza was great. No mess at home. Easy.

The food was good but the service wasn't. The waiter did not keep our drinks refilled. It took a long time to get the check and when we did it wasn't right. We usually get good service but not this time.

Great place to grab drinks watch the game and have fun with friends. Food is great and always a good time. Get there early place will fill up quick.

Well. I can't say it was THAT bad, but it certainly wasn't outstanding.

It's a typical alcohol-centered restaurant with some food offerings on the side, so naturally, the food is overpriced. My boyfriend and I didn't realize this when we wandered in, however, wanting a filling meal before we settle into our favorite cafe next door. The portion sizes are laughable, and while they might be filling to some, I ended up having to eat my own meal, plus two helpings of fries.

The fries are over salted and overseasoned, and not at all enjoyable unless you like really, REALLY crispy fries. They look like precut crinkle cuts that you buy at the grocery.

From what I saw of the pizza, it's incredibly small and thin for being upwards of $12 (for a 12 inch, no other sizes).

That being said, the only good thing was the service. The waitress was attentive and I never had to wait for a drink.

Horrible service. We were immediately seated but had to wait 30 minutes to order food. Entire restaurant was loud. You had to yell to hold a conversation. Ordered kids meal pizza and tortilla chips with cheese as appetizer. Appetizer came out quick and was the best part of the meal. My husband and I ordered wings and sweet potato fries with cheese curds. Wings weren't cooked completely and were slimey. Sweet potato fries were good. My daughter's pizza was doughy and the toppings just slid right off. She refused to eat it. The wings were removed from our bill but with that being said we won't be back.

Good variety of appetizers, especially the chili-shrimp, & entrees, especially thin crust pizza with great sports viewing & a full service bar.

Jac's is always fun. The service is great. Nachos, pizza, drinks--all good.

We always have a pleasant experience at Jac's. Good place to watch sports with good food. Just be patient as they can get pretty busy and sometimes have large tables. But the wait is usually worth it for the food.

Jac's is the best pizza place in town! Delicious food, great atmosphere, reasonable drink prices. Best bar in Portage!

Eat here instead of colonoscopy drink. Same result.

Just went back and service was still ok. But food wasn't as good as it used to be. Changed the Big G and didn't taste the same. Italian beef sandwich was smaller. Don't change a good thing. The guests we took with us weren't impressed. Not sure if we will be going back.

Enjoy this place very much. Glad they made it through.

The food is pretty good and we've always had really good service, my complaint is that the place smells funky as hell! They really need to rip out the carpet (which is disgusting in a restaurant/bar anyway)!

Pretty good pizza, plenty of big screens. I'd like it more if the mixed drinks had a more unique spin to them.

Excellent buffet: pizza, salad, and a hot dish that varies depending on the day of the week.

The fried mushrooms and pizza are good. Service was fast and friendly.

We had a great waiter. But the food was lackin , sent back onion rings, they were small and the onion in side were tough.

Lots of different apps and the famous Cekola s Pizza, the only pizza I eat! We had several tasty items and pizzas as well as drinks. The staff and manager delivered excellent customer service! We will definitely go back again.

Great beer, pizza, sandwiches & lots of TV's for all the NFL action on Sundays. The side, outdoor deck was fantastic on a warm afternoon. Friendly & efficient wait staff too!

Just discovered this place. Good service and we had a seafood pizza that was very good.

Went for the wing night. 1st time. We were in a time crunch and didn't even have to worry. The service was so fast and polite. Loved our server. Wings came piping hot and all 4 flavors were yummy. Plan on being back asap!

Ordered carry-out and wasn't very happy with the food. The Italian beef sandwich was soggy because the dipping sauce spilled all over the container because the lid melted. Making the fries in the container soggy also and the beef was more like pot roast. The buffalo chicken wrap was about the same quality, way too much sauce and way to much wrap. The salad and crab ragoons were ok, I don't know if I'll eat here again, but if I do I'll just get a pizza.

They where out of our kind of v vodka the service was slow food order not correct

I really enjoy coming here. Nice atmosphere. Great selection of beers. Food is delicious. Staff is friendly. Just about everything you'd want in a local restaurant!

If I could rate half a star I could. The service here was awful. Sat at the bar for 45mins before getting service. Wasnt even busy.

Love the seafood pizza, wish they had a second pool table though
