I love this restaurant, the food is exceptionally yummy and the service is the cherry on top.. friendly, warm and engaging!! Absolutely delighted to have them in my neighborhood

I had a horrible experience with this restaurant. I ordered a two course meal with a Groupon voucher. The waitress Natalie introduced the meals. We made it clear that we purchased a Groupon voucher and asked what we can order. The waitress did not tell us we need to pay extra money for ordering antipasti. The deal mentions two courses and we thought we could order one antipasti plus one main. She did not tell us we need to pay extra until the end and we had to pay extra for no reason. She kept saying Bread is counted Course. The reason why we purchase on Groupon was that we wanted to have a deal that was all inclusive. Dishonest behaviour is not tolerated.

Within Australian Hospitality standards, it is illegal to call Bread a Course.

I have reported this to the Groupon.

We told the waitress not to call Bread a Course and we asked to be refunded the $20 for the antipasti. She refused the refund.I provided my honest experience and we don't care the money. But she has asked us to remove the review for no reason. I have worked in this industry for few years and I know it well.I didn't threaten Natalie about the business I just want to help the people to know how to protect your right and make sure you don't pay extra. She has no right to ask me to remove my post.

Excellent vibe, atmosphere and menu. Diverse range of options both in the food and drink department and I will be having dreams about the chicken schnitzel. Outside dining at night would recommend.

We waited 80mins. for our food.
No acceptable nowadays !

Because of this I do not recommend for families w/ children.

Kings Prawn are delicious, and calamary is made right!

We had a sensational dinner here and they even accommodated our late reservation request. Their pizzas are cooked perfectly and the toppings are simple and flavoursome. The stand out was their pappardelle with spanner crab, sensational handmade pasta cooked perfectly. Cost is very reasonable and it's byo, pair this with a quaint setting and great service and you're in for a great night.

We were sad to read that Pinocchio's had closed down but wanted to give the Italian Kitchen Co a try.
We were blown away! Even though we had been in the restaurant 3 times over the past few years on this occasion it was unrecognisable!
The menu is very different from family friendly Pinocchio's but it is good different.
We started with local prawns that were grilled to perfection and delicious.
I then had spaghetti with pippies and loves every bite. The spaghetti was something else and cooked to perfection. The pippies were new for me and definitely worth the gamble.
My wife had gnocchi that was equally delicious.
We finished with a perfectly put together tiramisu.
Our only suggestion would be to be a bit quicker to refresh customers drinks but that's easily fixed.
We had a great night and will be back on our next trip up this way.

The meals were very tasty, however slightly overpriced in my opinion. Friendly service and I would give 4 stars if the wait time for food hadn't been so long, especially since the restaurant was quiet

Service was good. Ordered some antipasti plates to share and was a little disappointed the baked bread portion was 2 slices. At $8 it was hard to justify ordering another portion to have with the other antipasti dishes.

What an amazing find on our holiday!
After a massive day we needed a good feed and the Italian Kitchen Company delivered! In this very authentic menu you will encounter delicious classics. The entree bruschetta and grilled octopus were the perfect starters. The mains consisted of fresh pastas with perfectly cook seafood and amazing thin and crusty pizza. The kids loved there meals too. Will definitely be back in Q Land.

Homemade food it's always the way to go! The starters, the pasta , the pizza, and the staff is excellent. Definitely highly recommended.

Very nice food. Only one in the kitchen so we waited for over an hour.
WARNING, Hidden costs with food and drinks.
FOOD - we ordered the steak of the specials board at $35, we were charged $38. When we questioned it they said it changes with market value.
DRINKS - Prices were up there, $9 for Red Label scotch. Got the bill and we were charged $12 for spirits, when we asked why they said it was $3 for the coke. How many people drink their Spirits on the rocks?

Not only is the food out of this world (with very generous portion sizes), the staff are friendly, helpful and the chef even took the time to come out of the kitchen after we had eaten to ask how we enjoyed the food he had created! Try the Spaghetti prawns - perfection!
Well done for bringing taste and service back to the Gold Coast... i will be back!

Amazing food and amazing service. A very welcoming place which delights the taste buds with delicious flavours.
The pappardelle with the slow cooked lamb was delicious . The flavours complemented each other so well. We also had the Sword Fish. The flavour of Sword fish was elevated by the wonderful sauce. The starter was great. A highly recommended place whether for a couple, family, friends or any occasion. The staff are friendly and help decide with menu.

Great service, delicious food and wonderful wines
We had an antipasto platter and blue swimmer crab pappardelle. Very filling with lots of flavours. Would definitely recommend for an evening out, even with a toddler! (which we did)
Also, highly recommend the pinot noir

The Penne Siciliana with eggplant was out of this world. I would give it 6 stars if I could.

Second time here and still blown away Natalie goes above and beyond to make sure you cared for the food is fantastic and if you go you MUST try the creme brulee!

Came here tonight with my brother, sister in-law and kids. Amazing find. Hands down, this is the best Italian outside of Italy. The seafood entree s we re spot on and the Gold Coast king prawns the biggest I have ever seen. The pasta and gnocchi even better than I had in Italy. They were heaps busy but service was great. Do yourself a favour and try these guys out you won t regret it.

Best Italian on the coast! Great food and great service.. top class!
