Really don't go by car or go crazy in finding a place

Relatively dated building but with very modern technical facilities.

Nice place with nice facilities. Very interesting from the point of view of research but parking difficulties

Here i want to share for new comers to get to the IIT easily.
First of all there are three shuttle services that work from 7:55 to 10:30. You should better arrange your trip accordingly.
By Metro:
If you are coming from city center or near to any Metro Station (Brignole, DeFerrari, San Agostino, San Giorgio, Darsena, Principe, Dinegro, Brin) then take the Metro and get off at last station of BRIN. At BRIN, three shuttle buses go to the IIT at the Following times
i) 7:45
ii) 8:45 (this bus is much crowded)
iii) 9:45
If you miss the shuttle the take the Bus number 7 from same stop. Its procedure is next section.
By Train:
If you take the Train from Brignole, Principe, Samperderina, Riverolo then get off at the station of Bolzaneto. From there shuttle timings are as under
i) 7:55
ii) 8:20
iii) 10:20
If you miss the shuttle then dont worry, walk few meters and again get the Bus number 7.
By Bus:
You can take the Bus number 7 from Principe and get off at the stop of Via Morego. From Via Morego shuttle time table is as under
08:04, 08:15, 08:34, 08:40, 08:50, 09:00, 09:10, 09:20, 09:30, 09:40, 09:50, 10:00, 10:10, 10:29.

A point of excellence in Italian technological research

Culturally interesting place. Very competent guys work there.

The name itself says what they do. And they do WONDERFUL things

If you know someone who works there, take advantage of the guided tours organized by the same institute. Very interesting to understand where new technologies are developing

Difficulties in reaching it with public transport and own means, parking spaces are scarce

International Centre for R&D. Great job, great results.
Only problem, parking facilities should be largely improved and public EV charging stations should be installed

Centre of research and innovation!! If you ever have a chance to come and open day to visit some of the land and interact with some friendly neighbourhood (and kid friendly) robots I highly suggest it. I recommend trying to get a shuttle from either the metro or the train stations because the other alternative is to take the public bus to the bottom of Via Morego and the rest of the way is an uphill walk.

Italian Institute of technology is a center of research and innovation in neuroscience , robotics and have many center across Italy and in US. The facility in Genoa is nice and very competitive. It's one of the best research institute in Italy and have lot of collaborations worldwide.

To really be ahead, they should also show a little sensitivity towards those who respond to their job offers but then it is not calculated even with a "let us know". These are "Italian style" attitudes that we would prefer not to have been married by a society that is always projected towards the future.

A particularly lively research institute. It is not a public institution that can be visited

Fascinating and educational location where they create robots with artificial intelligence! School / offices / laboratories..everything is about pure science

because scholars who belong instead to invest their resources on technology innovations to help prevent and / or contain environmental disasters by climatic cataclysms, play with the robot in my opinion useless to 360 More

IIT is a foundation that aims to promote excellence in basic and applied research and to encourage the development of the national economic system. The staff of the Institute is approximately 1470 people, 85% of whom are employed in the scientific area, located in twelve research centers on the national territory and two laboratories abroad (MIT and Harvard). In recent years, the main areas of IIT patents have been the New Materials, Health and Robotics sectors, with almost 7000 publications, over 130 European projects, 350 active patent applications, 13 startups set up and as many being created.

The visit is interesting, a very dynamic and full of excitement, many young people who come from many parts of the world

Center of Italian technological excellence! Here the future is produced!

Nice building, great technologies and good rooms but the location is not the best, away from railway, city center and the best way to reach this place is by car or scooter.
