Terrible neighbors who create awful conditions. All calls fall on deaf ears. Crime has skyrocketed ever since we moved in. Landlord and Evolve/Echo only care about the rent. I agree with most of the reviewers.

Terrible. These guys rent houses to grubs who end up trashing the place. They have rented to some party animals in our block in Werrington. There is carry on, loud music, pretty sure they are smoking drugs or Ice as they are up day and night and look terrible. The tenants are twitchy.

when in there yesterday (30/08/2016) & explained to them that i just got out of a DV relationship with my partner of 6 years & we also have a 3 month old & the lady behind the desk was rude she started laughing which made me feel worse about myself than i already felr than she wouldnt give me any help or anything & said they cant help me. I wouldn't want to be a tenet for one of there properties if this is how they treat someone who just got out if DV i can just imagine how they treat others.

My neighbour also had great difficulty in getting repair work done, constant increase in rent leaving her unable to buy groceries.
I'm amazed at all these complaints and 0-1 ratings, and the generic responses. How can this company not be investigated? Not care about public opinion. Ian eligible for assisted living but won't consider these guys based off all the feed back. Evolve you need to do a total overhaul of business!

A bunch of slumlords who couldn't care less about their tenants. They shirk their obligations at every turn, they breach the tenancy agreement whenever they feel like it, and throw unfair and unjust expenses on the tenant. Don't expect any humanity or fair play from this organization.

EDIT: Evolve Housing's response to my review was meant to show that they care enough to listen, well unfortunately it stops at listening, I contacted the complaints department, and they simply responded saying "we can't do anything, so take us to NCAT if you're not happy". I give a warning to anyone thinking of engaging with these people, look for another option!

The occupants at 3/35 York St Berala appear to be operating a car business, constantly have arguements between themselves at all hours of the day and night, park their 6 cars on the street, on the footpath. Being a resident of this block, perhaps a more detailed investigation should be looked into their salaries as it appears they are doing a dodgy on the community housing system.

These people are a joke. The housing manager treats the tenants with contempt, she (and the previous manager) do not reply to emails, do not reply to phone messages and lie to tenants. Rather than repair the property maintenance keep sending tradesmen to fix problems that have already been fixed and then claim to have never received the original request. The ihear email for complaints must not be manned as no one ever replies. In our case the backyard floods every time it rains because the level of the backyard is lower then the drains so the water does not drain as it should which makes it impossible for our one and four year old to be able to play in the yard. There is no grass just weeds and mud caused by the water which has caused us all to slip over many times (including my pregnant wife). The next door neighbour is allowed to sell and smoke drugs (which hang in the common area causing us to have to live with closed windows to prevent the smoke entering our unit) according to the Evolve facts sheet they don`t want to know anything about breaches in the tenancy. The electricity boxes are broken and there has been someone switching off the power/hot water/common area lighting/smoke alarms at night. This has also been reported by email to the housing manager with no response again.

The most unwelcome place I have ever been to in my life. Evolve Housing you need to train your staff, especially your receptionist and her colleague from Parramatta office on how to welcome people to your office. You are definitely at great loss with the behaviour of your staff with guests. It seems like you are not monitoring the behaviour of your staff because of which you are getting second complaint in so less time from second person. I hope that you look into the issue and start making sure that your customers are treated properly. I give you zero rating for the service I had from your staff.

Have had problems with one of their tenants since they built a block of apartments next door to me. The guy gets drunk and uses drugs then gets abusive. He called me an AIDS fa**ot and a p*oo*ter. He called the woman that lives below him a sl*t. I've called the police multiple times on him. His behaviour has become ever more aggressive and threatening. Evolve tried to evict him and the judge pronounced him "vulnerable". He's not vulnerable, he's just a bully. Evolve have the power to end his lease, but I don't think they want to. I'd move, but I own my apartment, unlike the parasite they're renting to.

I'd rather have actual public housing next door. At least the government would listen to a formal complaint.

Worst place rent from and never ever help with things get done and rent is so high better of living in private rental property then rent from them. They same as renting private worst people I ever met and u can never get any help like u want it. Need change big time. I wish thwre was zero for this place

As a tenant of Evolve Housing I have to say how pleased I am regarding the way my online application for maintenance was handled. I received an email the very next morning from the maintenance co ordinator saying that the report had been sent to the appropriate people and within the hour I received a call from the contracter saying that they would come the very next business day. True to his word he arrived and he went about to do the repairs in a pleasant manner and in no time the two jobs were completed.

I just want to thank Evolve Housing for the wonderful way that my maintenance work was handled, I was very impressed!

Excellent.. I have been with Evolve for over 15 years, and in that time there may have been a bump or two, of which had nothing to actually do with Evolve. It was more of a case of having low class tenants living next to me and did not value the opportunity and or property they where given as housing. With Evolve direct or previous names of the corporation i have never had any dramas or upsets..... Any dramas and or upsets have come from un rully public tenants who were surely not raised correctly and caused a disturbance, as they were just plain bogan if not worse including filthy with uncontrollable children..

That situation was rectified by Evolve or previous corporation names and for the past ten years have lived in absolute piece and quite with respectful, well mannered and behaved neighbors.

I was a tenant with Evolve a couple of years ago. Evolve placed me in a house with an ice addict who stole a number of my personal items like my phone, laptop, plates, cutlery, and more. This tenant also wrecked the house so I had to remain inside my bedroom most of the time while living there. After repeated requests Evolve did not change the locks on my bedroom door in time before more of my property was stolen, the door could easily be opened using just a credit card or kitchen knife. This lack of care caused me to feel constantly unsafe and anxious. If anyone else is dissatisfied with Evolve or the outcome of a complaint I suggest that you write to The National Regulatory System for Community Housing Providers.

Worst organization I have ever dealt with in my life. I was a tenant for almost 3 years in a house that fell apart (literally fell apart) caused by dodgy building long story short I was compensated discounted rent for half my house being flooded and I was also promised a transfer. I was lied to by my property manger so I wanted to leave. Last week I gave notice I wanted to vacate "carol Wong" said yeah sure no worries, if you leave within 13 days we won't charge you. I thought okay, cool I then asked if I should hire a professional cleaner? Carol replied with "No, the unit doesn't have to be perfect it just has to be cleaned" I bleach cleaned it for 6 hours to the best I could which I thought was pretty good. Apart from wear and tear it cant be given back in pristine condition. Today I handed back my keys and then I was told my cleaning wasn't good enough, and that I'll also be charged for rubbish "which was not mine nor was it near my unit" and I'd be charged a $400 water bill "which shouldnt be my fault since evolve housing make dodgy houses" i would never ever recommend this place to anyone! Ill be taking evolve to fair trading for trying to steal my bond money!

Just want to thank everyone at evolve housing . Today Sunday 12 /11 / 2017 I called evolve housing to report a problem with the roof tiles falling off due to recent high wind activity . Several roof tiles have come adrift and some landed on the ground . Surprisingly , I was directed to an emergency maintenance officer and booked in for a service call out and inspection within five minutes . The lady I spoke to was very professional and friendly ( sorry I didn't catch your name ) . Within 30 minutes as promised , a helpful gentleman came to the house and resecured the tiles permanently even though I was told it could be a few days before the job might be assessed / authorised etc... thanks again evolve housing .

I had the worst experience dealing with these people. To work in this environment the least you should have is to be professional, without the clients you people have NO Jobs. There is no way you can get to talk to anyone and if you do, they are rude and arrogant. That's not a way of dealing with a customer. Very disappointing service -

Zero from me, housing placement not appropriate for my kind. Yet all actions were taken to place in unaffordable housing, don't know whether to congratulate or ask for my bond back, +4 weeks rent after terminating contract. But then again they can always say iam liable, and not one Judge will be Just.
Thanks feel like a real Australian.

Worst organization ever met in Australia, worst customer services, never reply your email. I do not understand how come this organization exists. Landlords and agents, step away from them, or wait to see how their 'tenant' give you surprises.

Unreliable and unprofessional service who does not care about the well being of their tenants. Rent increases almost every few months regardless whether their income rise or fall. Bills are sent only at their convenience (sometimes yearly without one) which always leave tenants in difficult financial situation. Rent arrears and energy arrears are sent as text messages. Calls and appointments are returned base on their schedule... We are talking about people who need the utmost support and compassion from society not doormats. Please review your organisation's value and work ethic!
