Im starting to see a ton of children in school rating this one star. I agree with this rating and will admit that at sometimes I will sound childish. all I ask for is for you to read my response, and hopefully you will agree. Most theachers and parents are prasing it with 4-5 star reveiws, saying how easy it is for themselves, not the actual child. this is aggrovates me a little because the parents have never had to deal with the app at all. And most of the time the machine spews out words a 3rd grader on the 3rd grade level (desgined for the 3rd grader to UNDERSTAND) cannot make out the words almost shoved down his throat. if you feel the app is great or boring, I dont care. This is just my opinon. (have a nice day!)

I'm sorry if any Istation workers are reading this, but this is the WORST. It'snot fun, it's annoying, it's slow, it never saves, and the graphics are awful. When the teachers says we're doing Istation, all you hear is groans.

To be honest I loved this app in third grade but now i'm at the end of fifth grade and this is literally the exact same stuff and if i hear the words "do you have the right stuff" again i'm going to throw myself in front of a train my point is update the game about every year replacing right stuff screener with something new. I'm going to give this 2 stars just because the Nexlevel is a really good update thank you.

As a student this program is the worst, does not encourage learning or update the program to give a half decent experience especially the low graphics that are not updated from 2000 graphics.

To be Honest i never liked istation its very repetitive and it expects me to know things i haven't even learned yet Although Nex Level is pretty good its probably the only good thing about it.

I absolutely love Istation. I used money from a fundraiser to purchase it for my striving readers when district funds dried up. I am a 5th grade teacher who has seen this research based/adaptive program work miracles and close gaps for kiddos who never thought they would be able to succeed in reading. This program is very misused, under-used, and under appreciated for its capabilities, accessibility and rigor. The guided lessons are scripted so anyone (aides, subs, administrators) can teach a good, solid lesson. For teachers to just let children log onto the program and "do Istation" on their devices is not where the power is. The magic happens because Istation differentiates for each and every learner, and gives teachers choices and resources they can use to help their children reach their potential. To just "do" Istation would be boring indeed.
With that being said Istation cannot POSSIBLY compete with the animations of video games. IT IS NOT A VIDEO GAME. Rather, it is a diagnostic and prescriptive tool that doesn't just say that you have an area of need, but uses the adaptive/smart technology to prescribe what you need to become stronger. It is like comparing football and basketball. Sports lovers often, (not always) would agree that basketball and football are exciting sports to watch and play. To say that Istation is lame because it doesn't have animations like their video games is like saying basketball is lame because it isn't football. Children who finally start to comprehend text on deeper levels appreciate and love Istation for how it has helped them. To see the light of confidence shine in my students' eyes is keeps me coming back to Istation again and again. Keep shining Istation! Together, we make a difference! :)

Istation has changed. It used to be repetitive and baby-ish for some. But Timeless Tales 2.0 NexLevel fixes all of this. 7th graders like myself, (which adults know are a handful) enjoy NexLevel and find it cool. I personally play video games, and NexLevel is like one. With all of the choices that impact the story and fun characters, it feels like exactly what it is: an educational video game. My friends and I liked it a lot more than we thought. It's actually really funny, yet, I know I've learned from it. Furthermore, the animation is so much better. It is very appealing. I definitely recommend it. It's way better than Achieve 3000 for SURE. Good job, Istation. Stepping up your game, huh?

I love ISTATION!!! It really does a great job of helping students with Reading and Language skills. The scaffolding provides students with excellent structure. Many of the skills that students will need to be good readers are covered. The graphics are also pretty good.

I read some of the ridiculous comments. Most of them were written by students who seem to enjoy bashing I-Station just for the fun of it. Some were from parents who were disgruntled and seemed to get a kick out of being pessimistic. One can always voice their dissatisfaction with tactfulness or in a courteous manner.

I have to say that I-Station is an excellent program and has gone a long way to help my son with his reading. The only thing I would like to see different on I-Station is for it to not to start one over from the beginning of a lesson if they log off. It would be much better if when one logged backed in one could go right back to were they left off. Sometimes my son gets frustrated when he stops in the middle of a book because he has to log off and then returns and has to start reading the book from the beginning. Overall, I am very, very, very glad the I-Station product exists. It is helping my son tremendously and I am sure it is helping others.

idk what people are talking about but when i was in elementary this game was EVERYTHING. it's so fun and everyone loved it. playing this game was literally the highlight of my day. it's super educational and very entertaining.

The game is trash and we all know it!! Most if not all of the 5 star reviews are just adults saying stuff like oh it teaches kids a lot when in reality they are just giving them 5 stars on a game they have not even played before just because it's educational dosent mean its atomaticly a 5 star game! and those adults wonder why istation is a 2 star game So if you are an adult writing those 5 star reviews ask yourself, have I played the game? If you answered no then why did you rate it 5 stars. Why does donnie the gatur person look like he is in the 7th grade meanwhile, Angel the piano person looks like she's 20 years old and sticks the drum person looks like he's like 30 or 40?

WHY DID THEY EVEN CREATE ISTATION MATH? the only math I need to know is the worst game ever + a terrible name = istation

P.S donnie the gataur person wears fake yeezys!

Please like! If you hate istation as much as I do

"AVOID at all costs! I have a hard time telling if the budget for this garbage is 10 dollars. IStation will also constantly tell you the same instructions every time you get on.Its been months and I still get the instructions to click the green arrow you can't skip it either. So if you are a teacher please don't use this."
