Good place to work in Indian space research organisation. ISTRAC is a communicating wing and part of ISRO.

An agency that is committed to nation's progress, performing telemetry, tracking and command operations for entities in space. An organisation like no other!

Bunch of engineers with no sense of scientific enterprise.

I am an intern over there and the intership is going on in a cool way .

Outside people are not allowed unless they have some work inside and you have to submit your identification proof to enter inside they will enter you inside with empty handed

ISRO Telemetry, Tracking and Command Network (ISTRAC), Bengaluru is entrusted with the major responsibility to provide tracking support for all the satellite and launch vehicle missions of ISRO. The major objectives of the centre are: carrying out mission operations of all operational remote sensing and scientific satellites, providing Telemetry, Tracking and Command (TTC) services from launch vehicle lift-off till injection of satellite into orbit and to estimate its preliminary orbit in space and hardware and software developmental activities that enhance the capabilities of ISTRAC for providing flawless TTC and Mission Operations services. Towards, these objectives, ISTRAC has established a network of ground stations at Bengaluru, Lucknow, Mauritius, Sriharikota, Port Blair, Thiruvananthapuram, Brunei, Biak (Indonesia) and the Deep Space Network Stations. In keeping with its long-established TTC support responsibility, ISTRAC has also been mandated to provide space operations support for Deep Space Missions of ISRO, undertake development of radar systems for launch vehicle tracking and meteorological applications, establish and operationalise the ground segment for Indian Regional Navigational Satellite System, provide Search & Rescue and Disaster Management Services and support space based services like telemedicine, Village Resource Centre (VRC) and tele-education. ISTRAC has several facilities as of November 2013 ISTRAC facilities in Bangalore consists of TTC ground station (BLR) with full redundancy multi-mission Spacecraft Control Center to carryout and control spacecraft operations and co-ordinate with the network stations. Computer facility with distributed architecture providing independent processors for communications handling, dedicated processors to provide real-time displays for individual spacecraft missions and off-line processors for carrying out spacecraft data archival, analysis and orbit determination. Communication Control facility to establish links between SCC and ISTRAC network stations as well as control centers of other participating external space agencies and data receptions stations through dedicated voice, data and TTY links. Limited TTC facility to provide on orbit operational support to INSAT satellites as back up to Master Control Facility at Hassan.
