This library has helped me grow up into the man i am now. I started coming here as a wee little todler, and still go as the accomplish 14 year old messi. Thank you for making my life all the better. Also, I like Paco the fish. -Cheers

Other than being freezing cold all the time, the library is amazing. Lots of books and media you can borrow. They have a HUGE kids section and most of the staffs are super nice. If you had a bad experience with the staff, just remember...there will always be at least one grumpy person no matter where you go, it's only normal :)

Honestly, just pulled into Forbes parking lot to have a conversation on the phone. But boy was it nice to be sitting there looking at that beautiful building. How I miss going into the children's library with my kids sweetly and slowly taking our time to pick out books as if they were treasures.

Most of my time there is in the basement, with Bodhi, my son who is currently 15 months of age. They offer wonderful activities for todlers/teens. Nice play area with wide variety of books, cds/dvds. Beautiful aquarium with one fish having been there many years. Staff are always very pleasant and helpful. Perfect combination of professional courtesy and personal interaction.

Great library, good selection, lovely building, inexpensive coffee available. Fun, free events open to the public. Most parking is metered and in the back of the building, far from any doors, so bring an umbrella on rainy days and don't forget to carry change. All meter money is used to buy new books. Hours are all over the place and change in the summer, so don't trust Google. Check the hours with the library before you make the trip.

Really beautiful library! Very helpful staff with a great selection of books and movies. Their children's room has a big fish tank that's fun to check out. The Hosmer Gallery often has art shows and the Coolidge Presidential library is also worth a visit.
