A magical place full of mossy forests waterfalls, really tall western red cedars, and the fun of a ferry ride from island to island.
This is one of the most beautiful places in the world. I've been coming here for 40 years.
Great place to visit, will be returning, time and time again
One of the best places we have visited in the Pacific Northwest. The truly EverGreen example of the state of Washington.
There's alot to learn here! If you take the time, read the plaques, there's a semester of history here.
Fun Stuff!
Been here many times. It's best to go in your own boat, but the ferry's also work. Each island has it's own unique appeal.
This is a nice place to visit and see the views on Lopez Island. It's dog friendly too.
Very nice trip! Not alot of beach access. Plan ahead and show up early. Places fill up quick!
Love this place, 5 hours isn't long enough. I'm going back mid July for a week!
San Juan Island is a total jewel! Go see the foxs and the rabbits! Some of the best rock hounding ever!! Accommodations are hard to find at best. Make it a day trip and walk on the ferry to save cash!!
Went for a day trip to Friday harbor. What a great time and would recommend to any couple. Be sure to take a vehicle.
This park has an interesting history. Settled by Civil War vet and family. There's still the original water tower standing even though it doesn't hold water any more.
We actually were here to whale watch and saw several orcas! It sure is beautiful and look forward to returning.
Here for an overnight trip on the Gato Verde (Green Cat) at Cypress Island. Beautiful.
I've been there three times it is so beautiful I would go again and never leave of I had the chance
Great picture opportunities, amazing food and the locals are very friendly
Awsome place. Must see. If you get a chance check out Cypress island and Sucia Island.
If you haven t been to the San Juan Islands you are missing out! The beauty is impossible to describe. There are so many options to stay and play. Be sure to do some research and then get up there next summer!!

The passage from Anacortes to Sidney BC is beautiful.
Ferry Ride. Always a good time! Get the clam chowder and some wine
Very peaceful, quaint town. Great to visit for trinket shopping.
After growing up and living there for more than 35 years its still one of most stunning places on earth. It should be on the list of must see's along with Yellowstone and Yosemite NP's
Beautiful area and a reminder of what this area was like before we took it over. I'm glad there are areas that are not for sale here.
Great scenery, wild animals, herds of orcas. Breathtaking
A cool, quaint place with many amicable people. I might revisit some day.
It's just beautiful. The water meets rocky shores, which rise steeply to grassy bluffs. Any direction you look, you encounter glorious vistas or idyllic seaside farms. It's virtually impossible to be unhappy or irritable here.
I stayed 4 days at Our Lady of the Rock Monastery on Shaw Island. It was a wonderful experience and I would go again. It was beautiful and peaceful and meditative.
