Irving Pediatrics Review

I wish I would have known about them sooner. Dr. Haq was so kind and knowledgeable. I have taken my son to his pediatrician twice and to urgent care because of a cough and congestion that has been on and off for 2 1/2 weeks that keeps being dismissedas allergies. I was advised to continue to give him allergy medicine and cough medicine when needed. He takes allergy medicine everyday and cough medicine almost everyday but the cough has gotten worse. last night he cough so bad that he threw up. I wasn't able to get an appointment with his pediatrician because they close early today. I was able to get an appointment this morning. No one has texted him for anything until Dr. Haq, my son tested positive for RSV and who knows how long he's had it. I'm very thankful that Dr. Haq was able to get to the root cause. He sent the prescriptions and my pharmacy had them ready in 1 hr. He is already feeling better with the congestion medicine. The best thing is they're extending their hrs again next month until 7 for weekdays and they're open Saturdays. They do virtual appointments and have an online portal. I'm at ease knowing that my son is in great hands now.

Unfortunately, this will be the first and last appointment with the clinic. I find it very disturbing that in a pandemic clinical staff employees weren't properly masked. Their masks were below their noses and I even saw one as I waked in, her mask was completely off chatting away to another employee. Kudos to two of them who wore their mask the correct way. Secondly, I didn't witness any hand sanitizing upon entering and leaving the exam room where my child was placed in. No handwasing noted prior to assessment nor upon conclusion of exam. I was informed flu shots were available only to be told ten minutes later, no flu shots available for private insurance. Lots of red flags on infection control.

This place was all my children knew from the moment they left the hospital. This is the kind of place that you settle for when you don't know better. After finally switching pediatricians I realized we were settling for below minimum in here. Don't be impressed by the lobby. The service is not worth it.

Great front desk staff and a wonderful medical team. Kids are well attended to and were made feel at ease with no stress.

My childrens' pediatricians at Irving Pediatrics are very accommodating and treat our kiddos with special care. They take extra time to find out about their life outside of the office. I would highly recommend them to others.

The best pediatrician I ever been to. I highly recommend this place for your little ones.

I called to see if they could send out breathing medication to the pharmacy. Someone said since they didn t write it than he will have to be seen before he get breathing medication. I was told the ER he went to was only a one time and the PCP doctor can write it ... I said his life depends on this medication to help him breathe she continued to say he ll probably need an appointment with us to be seen. I m going to find a doctor/ clinic who s concerned about there patients and not money, the money will come when your heart is in the right place and so will the patience come. I m looking for another doctor!!!!!

This was not our first visit nor will be our last. They have always accommodated our emergency and treat them as non emergency always finds an appointment when need be. The staff are very friendly and adhere to the covid restrictions all the staff had their masks on and there were plenty of hand sanitizer all over the counter .
The doctor took his time to understand the kids situation and even took his time to determine what medication she was given the last time we visited a different pediatrician.
I will recommend them to any person who is looking for a family based pedestrian
