Went for lunch. Semi-rustic bistro kind of place with tasteful rabbit deco art throughout. Quick and friendly service. The dining area and unisex restrooms are clean. The menu is nicely balanced with something for everyone. Cost is slightly above average for Olympia and too high for what is received. Draft beers in 12, 16, & 22 size ...12 is $7 = steep. Service fee / gratuity of 18% is included in all checks.

Only been here once, and in all honesty, I was hungover because it was the day after a wedding, so I can't remember every detail. Their Bloody Mary's are beautiful and delicious, though, and the food was incredible. Definitely worth visiting again.

Decent place to eat but I got "guilted" for saying no to having a side dish with my burger during lunch. Wife and I split a side dish, the polenta fries, to go with our meals (a burger for me, entree for wife). The polenta fries were really good. The burger was decent. The atmosphere was nice. I just could do without the side of guilt.

Worst restaurant experience I ever had. We had 6 people. Planning on going in as two separate groups at two separate tables due to the last regulations. A couple was in line before us and overheard the waitress telling us we are "not welcome as a group if 6 and you cannot split into two groups". The couple before us even thought it was ridiculous. Anything we tried to ask the waitress gave short rude answers and didnt even let us speak. I will never go there again.

Good enough food. Very good service. Main courses are about $5 over priced, some are about $10 over priced. The burgers are good, but it's a burger and not worth $20. The fish and chips are an overly breaded and panko style- there are much better options around for fish and chips and typically for a better price. The Cordon Who was great; I'd price it at about a $17 dish vs $23 on the menu. I didn't care for the cauliflower starter. The ginger soda and root beer are good to ok, but I would suggest sampling them before ordering. The lemonade was just ok, wasn't very flavorful.

Unfortunately im changing my mostly good review to a bad one. The woman who gives the orders to go was extremely rude again. My husbands phone died on the way to pick up the food and she ignored him when he knocked several times. She walked by several times then finally scolded him. Everytime he goes she is rude to him. Not worth the bad service

Service and food were average quality. Not bad, not exceptional. Portion sizes were unsatisfyingly small. Prices were absolutely ridiculous. All in all, the value of the meal was worth about half what I paid for it.

We made reservations here for a family celebration and were delighted. We had cocktails and the crab dip to start. Then enjoyed wine and a variety of main course meals. Our friendly waiter boxed up our desserts to go, as we were too full to eat another bite!

The best root beer in Olympia. If you go here get the root beer. The staff are polite and the place can get packed on weekends but weekdays it can feel like you almost have the place to yourself. Expect to pay about 30 to 40 dollars per person including drinks and appetizers. I recommend the chicken cordon who for a first time visit.

This place was damn good. Got the lamb burger which was basically a refined, soft medium rare gyro w/ goat cheese. Made the Greek in me happy. Best cooked lamb I ve had recently. It made my day! Try the fries with Gorgonzola and prosciutto. Everything is incredible.

Great customer service. Great options for those of us with food sensitivities. So accommodating when we bring our little guy along. Yummy cocktails. Always bring my out of town friends here.

Quality neighborhood establishment with intimate setting and unique menu. Always had friendly staff, and I may only visit a couple times a year, but that's because I have picky eaters in the family.
I've had great success ordering their pasta. I tried the veggie burger... it was good, but crumbly. Best to just serve with a steak knife and serve open faced.
The downside to the location is it can be difficult to enter off Harrison, going westbound. Best to enter off Division, by the vet's office.

Always great service and the food is some of the best in Olympia - or elsewhere. We come with our elementary-aged daughter and appreciate the relaxed atmosphere, without having to compromise on the food quality. Great cocktail menu, carefully curated wine list, excellent beer selection.

Our waitress was very postive and kind. She had knowledge on the drinks/food. She made us feel at home and had really good recommendations. Not to mention they make the best whiskey sours I have had. We ordered the curry fish and chips and iron burger, yum! I really enjoyed our waitresses postive happy vibe. We will be returning:)

Bottom line first: local joint with good food and friendly staff that is at times overshadowed by a dull environment. 1/2 (but I'll round up)

Food was good, but not great. The atmosphere was kind of dull, but we were there late on a Friday. Dark bar with some TVs and no music.

The lamb kofta kabobs were good and the tsatziki was definitely homemade and definitely good. The fish and chips are home made with a beer batter and panko encrusted. Good crust and well cooked. I was surprised in a good way by the curry. Great flavor. Got it with the chicken, which was not cooked into the dish. Was just placed on top of the curry as an afterthought.

We really liked our bartender, Dominica. Great service and good company. She suggested some great drinks for us. Would go back to try more of their large gin collection.

I have always been a huge fan of Iron Rabbit, and while it s a little pricey for me it s always perfect for a special celebration or just a good treat yourself evening. I recently ordered curbside...it was terrible. There was no notification telling us the food was ready, so finally after an hour we just picked up the food because we figured it had to be ready. It of course was cold then. I had a wrap that was so boring I had to spice it up at home, the cauliflower wings were terrible because I could tell they were fried directly after fish and tasted overwhelmingly fishy. For the price, this meal was maybe the worse I ve ever had.

Points for atmosphere, good music , lots of drink selection, family friendly and hormone free grass fed beef. With tip, I spent $40 for a house burger, upgrade from fries to a small side salad, kids burger and kids apple juice. It was good food, but burgers from Carl Jr's is just or good or better and less than half the price.

Update. We just ate at Carl Jr's. It WAS a better burger and 1/3 of the price with the coupon. The Iron Rabbit wins on atmosphere and hormone free beef. But Carl Jr's wins on taste and price.

Fantastic food and wine but we always seem to be rushed out - we get the bill before we are even finished, never asked if we would like anything else. Typically never order dessert or cocktails because we feel like they want us to leave!

My husband and I have been coming here for about 8 years now. We've celebrated with friends & family for birthdays. This is also perfect for anniversary dinners or an elegant date night. Having lived outside of Portland and experienced all of the trendy & first class places there, I have to say, The Iron Rabbit is our favorite place in the Olympia area. It combines fine dining with a small & cozy atmosphere. We have never had bad service or bad food. Ever. We look forward to being surprised by what new things they'll have to offer the next time we go.

Pretty good. It is dingy and hole in the wall, but the prices aren't. The food is darn good, but not anything i would rave for weeks about or make a special trip for. It is probably the best of its type in Olympia, but I would rather go downtown and have some ethnic food, or down the street to the burrito cart, or to Ramblin Jacks, or the brewery.

Overall, good, but not great.

What an awesome place to come spend a few hours. The food is incredible, unique and well thought out. The service was beyond the food. I highly recommended you come here and enjoy a meal. They truly care that you are satisfied is every aspect. Their bat stocks locally made spirits and I can really stand behind that as Washington has some phenomenal distillers. This place is a must in the Oly area and as far as Oly's food scene is considered most likely the best. Their reviews speak for themselves. Don't miss out.

We stopped here last night on a whim. Food was fantastic! Nice suprise for us. Had a delicious wagu steak perfectly cooked, and rancher burger. The BlackBerry bbq sauce is amazing! Prepared, and presented perfectly!
I've been in the food industry for most my working career as a cook, and chef. So I have high expectations.
I gave a 4 star as we felt a bit neglected by our server. We spent 85 on 2 meals, and 3 alcoholic drinks. We will be back to try more. Hopefully service will be on point next time.

We ate in the bar, the service was good, they were attentive but not annoying. The Chicken Cordon Who, served with asparagus and mashed potatoes was very good. Presented beautifully, and perfectly prepared. My husband had the fish and chips, and they were light and crisp.
