Our go-to spot for good and healthy food, and great gluten free options. Root beer is home made and amazing.

Outstanding service and amazing food! We will definitely be back again
The food was excellent and the staff was so nice. The power went out and they kept their composure, taking care of the food, kitchen, and us. Would give 5 stars but too pricey and not enough non-seafood choices on the menu.
Not a bad place at all, small but the food was stood and the drinks are good as well.
We heard others rave about this place. I found it a little expensive and disorganized. I would give it 3.5 stars if possible, so I'm being generous. The menu was limited but interesting. The food was good to very good. The service was enthusiastic but either overtaxed or inexperienced. The interior was messy (uncleared tables, stuff on floor). Nothing they couldn't resolve with a couple more servers.
Definitely give it a try. Known for their burgers; grain fed beef. Food was great. We are from OH and the price was worth what we paid. My meal was not as expected and they just "made to order" for me. We left our own to tip. (Saw the other reviews) they have changed their policy. Glad we stopped.
Great staff, amazing food and the drinks are truly spectacular. One of the best restaurants in Olympia.
I had the seafood linguine & my wife had the drunken sailor. Both excellent meals. Why the 3 stars? The deserts were horrible. I had the bread pudding. The back side had a burnt taste & the rest was too stiff & not "pudding " at all. My wife had the chocolate raspberry cheesecake. All raspberry, including seeds, with chocolate syrup spread around as garnish. She was so disappointed. We both had coffee & for $4.25 per, it was sad for coffee. We'd go back for the entrees only if we were really in the mood. Recommend skip their dessert & coffee. Expensive mistake.
Very tasty food. I don't think that they have a separate area for it, but they work very hard to be good at things like gluten free and they are even able to help with my weird peppers allergy if I call ahead of time.
The food was delicious and I loved their beer selection. I had seen more of a food selection on their online menu, so I was lead to believe that they had a few more vegetarian options. But overall, the service was nice and food was flavorful.
My first time at this conjoined building Restaurant, I was surprised at the prices For small portioned food, we did not expect a lot, we eat healthy, work hard for maintaining our bodies and all, but this was seriously small portioned dinner meal, also ordered gin and tonic; the tonic was 6$ the gin was 6 as well.. in most places tonic is 0.00$! So not only did we have to pay for the tonic water separate from the gin.....two charges! for a 13 dollar drink the portions; were small and it was overpriced!
Never eaten here, but be warned that they hold the title of Worst Bloody Mary I have ever tasted in my life.
Best steak in town. Great house beers. Great staff.
Mr. Skillings and crew have busted their backsides to make the Iron Rabbit a truly inspired dinning experience. The food is a treat, the service is graciously hospitable and they have outside seating. A must visit if you are on this end of town.
Small restaurant but he food is great and the servers are enthusiastic.
Table are too close together. If I'm going to pay $15 for 3 piece fish chips. There should actual be 3 pieces of fish. Not one and a couple of scraps. We ordered 3 dinners and all three the same way.
Totally blown away by the incredible food and excellent service here.
Why 4-stars? Because although food, bar drinks, and service are totally super and gourmet in quality and taste ...the comfort and spacing of the seating leaves much to be desired in a high quality restaurant. One feels packet-in, which is not pleasant when the practice requires by default an 18% tip regardless of service. Am willing to pay the auto tip...but make me comfortable in the process of enjoying a very expensive meal.
Fun recipes, great flavor, excellent service and willingness to customize orders for those with specialized diets. Will certainly return!
Very well prepared food in a casual atmosphere served with friendliness and efficiency. We tried two varieties of true cod fish and chips dinners. Both plates came with a lightly dressed, but tasty coleslaw, golden fried potatoes, and perfectly battered and fried fish. We will be back to try more adventurous selections on the menu. You can certainly get fish and chips for less than $19 per plate elsewhere, but not done with the same quality, style, and comfort. If you go for the fish and chips, I recommend the curried variety which comes with a more flavorful crust and a delicious, curried aioli in place of regular tarter sauce; however, if you want standard tarter sauce too, they are happy to oblige.
Wow! Best one word description. Bar or restaurant, Wide menu selection, great service. A must try if your anywhere near! I recommend and would return!
The service was fantastic. My wife and I went there for our first time and our server recommended the burgers. Such an awesome choice, I got the gyro style burger and my wife got the ranch burger with the chipotle berry sauce. Both were excellent and even though the price was a little high for a typical burger, the style and combination of flavors made it worth it. We will definitely be back!
There is a lot to like about Iron Rabbit. Good food and great drinks, to start, along with a friendly and efficient waitstaff. I wanted to love their lamb burger, but it's just good, not great. The Rancher Burger, on the other hand, is my favorite burger in town, without a doubt. Another favorite on the menu is the Poutine Who, which is a delightful take on a Canadian classic.
Friendly service. Crab bisque soup was great. Try the Curry Fish and Chips. Good beer selection. It's on the pricey side but the food is good
Food was over priced for the taste. Had the garlic fries. There were garlic cloves instead of minced. Made it hard to actually taste it with the fries unless you ate an entire clove.
I didn't think my food was spectacular. It was pretty good. I had the fish and chips.
Best restaurant in the area. Only place I ve found that serves free range meats.
My husband and I both had the iron burger with fries. It was absolutely delicious. The sauce on the burger was tangy and unique the fries were crispy and some of the crispiest ones tasted almost like potato chips. Would highly recommend!
Great food. Staff was wonderful. Probably the best customer service I've had in a long time.
Spent over $60 for my husband and I to eat burgers and have a drink. Food was good but not good enough for that price. I can go to Applebee s and we can have burgers for half that price and have them taste the same. $18 a burger ? Like are you kidding me !?
Loved it. Great food, good dark beer selection and our server was amazing. Definitely going back for more.
O place all such a beautiful play such a beautiful people the ship utiful floors such a beautiful furniture such a beautiful windows such a beautiful doors such a beautiful French fries such a beautiful Sue such a beautiful glasses such a beautiful
The breakfast sandwich I had was sooo good. I don't remember what it was called, but it had prosciutto and a poached egg on it with chipotle sour cream and a side of garlicy homefries. The service was good too, sitting in the bar made it nice a quiet and the server didn't hover. They were great.
The food here is amazing! I am always happy when we eat at the Iron Rabbit. They have a variety of dishes all made with care. Good spot for a birthday dinner, date night, or anything really.
Took my girlfriend there for Valentine's day last night. First time going there so I had no idea what to expect. The service was amazing! Our server was quick and attentive and rescued us from our fallen drinks. The food was just divine! We plan on coming back for sure!
This place was recommended to me by a friend who adored the food. And I have to say it was excellent. I got the burger with goat cheese and it was so incredible. I took half home and my son said it was the best burger he ever had! I will definitely go back. The roasted garlic is delish. I love that they are local and their food is modern and unique. I hear the homemade ginger ale is incredible!
Food was great, beer was tasty. I've always gotten good food at the Iron Rabbit.
Never disappoints! One of my favorite places in Olympia.
Overpriced mediocre (at best) food. Not to mention over-priced
Iron Rabbit has the feel of a great Bay Area or Gaslight District restaurant, with a bit of a price tag to match. I'm happy to pay for a 17$ burger when it looks and tastes amazing. They have a house-made root beer that is not bad, but their lemonade is better imho. I do like their seasonal menu changes, but their traditional menu items seem to keep my attention when I visit. I go to IR about 6 times a year since 2015 and have never been disappointed. Oddly, IR used to have a mandatory 18% gratuity, and that has gone away in the last year or so. I didn't mind it, since they have never given me a reason to want to tip less than 20%. Overall, great service and delicious food.
Limited selection of meals with very good quality food, lots of sauces, specialty cocktails and tasty desserts. Tips are included in the meal price. Pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff. High-end prices.
Burgers were great! Good selection of interesting items and tasty ingredients. Staff was very friendly too!
Easy access/parking. Nice atmosphere, good food and service. Just a bit "pricey".
The food and service were great. Nice atmosphere. The food was however overpriced. The 18% gratuity regardless of party size is just too much. Then on top of that be expected to tip your wait staff. It was good for a one time visit.
Food is good but very pricey, Good beer selection also.
We decided to try this restaurant because the menu offered local beers and Washington wines, and many of their entrees would be offered vegetarian or vegan. We were not dissapointed. The food was fresh and all ingredients prepared well. Our server was polite and friendly, although only his third night. We were seated on the 'family' side of the restaurant. The seating is a little tight in the booths, so pick a table if you like some elbow room.
Came here for the first time tonight and loved it! Started with the Old Roosevelt and Rabbit reviver, which were both delicious. The Drunken Sailor was devine. Our waitress was knowledgeable and friendly. This is a great spot for special occasions!
This place is great and their beer, well let me just say, YOU NEED TO TRY IT!
The customer Service was great. I felt like the staff (three different contacts) were genuine and professional. My beer was a great tasting dark ale, and I loved it. And the garlic Fries are a must. You can tell everyone who works there are invested in making a great dining experience.
Great food, great service. Drinks are great too, had the Olympia Manhattan and I highly recommend it. The polenta fries are a must too - I know it sounds weird, but they really pull it off, good stuff.
Me and my friend were driving back from Portland to Seattle and found this gem of a restaurant on the way. We went 30 mins before closing time and we never felt rushed. Had the home made root beer which was probably the only item which ended being disappointing. But the lamb burger was pretty darn good and the best was the desert. We had a fruit custard which is probably one of the best custard I've ever had in my life. Nothing to complain about the service , over all had a good time.
Yum yum. My wife had the lamb burger, I had the grilled cheese. It's obvious that the folks that work here care a lot about their food and their service. We will absolutely be coming back!!!
One of the best meals I have had recently. Nice job.
Best Angus beef burgers around, I was drooling hands down best burger I've ever had.
Food is delicious! The service is very slow in the bar
Service was amazing, food mediocre and spendy for portion size.
Great restaurant with friendly staff and delicious, affordable menu.
The cauliflower appetizer was great. I enjoyed the beet-based meatless burger. The person in my party thought the lamb burger was excellent.
The polenta fries were unique, and very good. I highly recommend them.
Very nice service and staff. Food was pretty good, I had the Sicilian burger and my hubby had the fish and chips. I hated the seating, the tables were pushed up close to your chest in the booths, and the tables are too high for the seating.
Loved my first visit here! Can't wait to go back for brunch some day!
Superb food, great presentation, positive vibe, efficient staff. A great experience all around. Some of their dishes are quite rich. Cost is pricey.
Service is good, Menu reading unusual, but food ordered was really good.
Excellent Food, Great Service, Wonderful Atmosphere!
Great food, service, and atmosphere. It's a very "Olympia" place, with a cozy interior and accommodation for all types of diets (from meat-lovers to vegans). On top of that, the servers are incredibly friendly.
Nice rustic atmosphere. Just stopped in the bar for some drinks and they were good! A little bit on the expensive side though.
Really good food, very much a fusion restaurant! Try it out. :D
My favorite restaurant in our area. Servers are the best. Food is always fantastic.
Had the Sesame Crusted Seared Ahi, seasoned and cooked brilliantly.
Great food, beer and atmosphere. Sustainable food practices.
