Beware of this company. This is one of the worst companies we have done business with, so awful it's moving me to leave a review to hopefully protect others. They are dishonest, unprofessional, and actually made my LTL shipping more complicated if you can imagine that. We used them for a couple months because of their really cheap LTL rates. We asked all the right questions, wanted to make sure it wasn't too good to be true and we were assured that we would qualify for these great low rates regardless of our shipping volume, etc. NO. They lure you in with low rates and then raise them. They wanted to triple our rates after 2 months of doing business. Additionally due to a "billing error" they debited our bank account $1000 when it was supposed to be $50 for our monthly account fee. Not worth it. Please save yourself the hassle and look somewhere else for an honest, upfront company that will help you out. I will say there was one employee here that was always very helpful to me, Anderson was his name. When you are trying to run a business these hassles are not worth it. This company uses nothing more than a classic bait and switch tactic. Advertise excellent rates and then 3 months later triple those rates and tell you that you have 24 hours to agree to the new rates or you will no longer be able to process any shipments. Never at any point in time was it mentioned that rates would be reviewed every 90 days, but that's what they are now telling me. It is vaguely mentioned in the terms and conditions that "changes could be made from time to time". The agreement that I signed also makes no mention of quarterly reviews. Not to mention that on my agreements, there is no date listed for the service agreement expiration date. They called and emailed me multiple times a day to sell me on their company's services. I was VERY upfront about what I was looking for, the issues we were having with our freight broker at that time, the concerns that I had in moving forward with Inxeption and rates that I was willing to pay. They waited until I had already verbally committed before informing me of the monthly subscription fee. Honestly, I have believed since day one that that fee is a complete rip-off for customers that are only utilizing Inxeption for shipping purposes. I do not, have not, and will not be using any of Inxeption's e-commerce services. So I'm essentially paying a $50.00 subscription to use their horrible app (that they make you use) and to get their "discounted" shipping rates, that are no longer discounted. It was then explained that the monthly fee would auto renew and be billed on the first of each month until it was cancelled in writing and it is non-refundable. That would have been a GREAT time to also mention that the agreements that I was about to sign for my shipping rates were only guaranteed for 90 days, and then would be reviewed and adjusted accordingly. Instead, they withheld that information, giving the idea that I was locking in these rates indefinitely. Now 3 times in the last month I have not been able to schedule shipments for multiple days. They have required me to sign a new shipping agreement to continue to schedule shipments. They have taken away flat rate pallet shipping rates. I now have to use an entirely different shipping portal that essentially just looks up rates from various carriers. And I am still required to pay the $50 per month subscription fee. Invoices are supposed to come weekly and be deducted from our bank weekly. But they come randomly and are deducted randomly. I have been double billed for shipments. I received an invoice for $12,000 when it was supposed to be $986. They withdrew $1000 from our bank account instead of $50 and then it took 10+ days to get a refund. Customer service is pathetic and getting answers from anyone is next to impossible. STAY AWAY!
Inxeption=best company ever. Let me explain....I did my homework on them and found out they used to be an e-commerce company and some of the bad reviews here are old and outdated. They switched their business model to offering flat rate shipping. I assumed at first it was too good be true. Flat rate shipping to the lower 48 states - I sat through their presentation. The calculation for our company came out to almost $200k in savings per 12 months. Clearly there was a catch, right? Nope.
Guaranteed any negative review here is before they got their act together and ironed out the kinks in their new business model. We have been shipping saving a fortune. I am the COO at Shark Wheel - we were on Shark Tank, the Discovery Channel, etc. We ship our 25lbs. electric skateboards anywhere in the US (48 states) at the same price as a 10 lbs shipment locally with ANY other service.
Sure, be skeptical...I would be. But, they deserve a shout out for turning their model around and offering the only truly flat rate service. Shipping is now easy, fast, cheap, etc and for the first time ever shipping is a profit center for us.
I am reading reviews of this company which we have been using for a few months now. It seems there is a pattern (get charged $1000 "by accident", rates being raised after a couple of months, not being able to get anyone on the phone). I thought the overcharge was just a mistake on their part, but after reading these, I am seeing that this is a practice of theirs. I was told I could no longer ship anything because I hadn't agreed to their new rates which we have never received any notice about. We haven't had any issues with their e-commerce portal at this point...just their LTL service. The rates seemed ridiculously low, but I guess it was either a bait and switch or they don't have a clue what they are doing. Either way, not good.
These guys are brokers, disguised as a "software company". Rest assure, they only service this company offers is to screw up your business. They canceled 30 shipments, lost 4 pallets, and cost our business thousands in lost revenue. They sell you on per pallet fixed rate shipping and bill you the difference after delivery. False Advertising.
Great platform! Cuts through all the mess of dealing with shippers - who are all awful. Very nice support for my business - i can get in touch with the support desk at all hours.
Inxeption Services has been the greatest so far for us! Not only their rates are second to none, but their costumer service is unparalleled in every way. They are super helpful and attentive to our needs and we are looking into moving most of our volume to Inxeption.
