My biggest and only complaint here is the cost of repair. It's ridiculously expensive!! They had perform a re-ring procedure for cyl 1 - 3 on my Honda Odyssey, with less than 100K on it. I took my vehicle to Honda dealer thinking that it would be covered under a warranty I purchased. Unfortunately, the work for my vehicle was not covered under warranty after they have taken my car apart so I was charged almost 5K for repair out of my own pocket. I didn't easily have 5k at that time and I asked if Honda can help me out or lower some of the cost repair because this work came unexpectedly. I expressed to them that I took good care of the vehicle and have not missed any maintenance on it (records show), and this is clearly a manufacture fault with the engine. I felt like little effort was put in trying to help my situation. The service representative asked if I was the original owner of the vehicle and if I had serviced my car there before and I think because it was my first time there, I feel he didn't really put in much effort in helping me, but instead offered to do more maintenance on my vehicle such as timing belt change that would cost 2.5k on top of my repair cost since they have already have my engine torn down. I needed my VAN b/c of my kids, so I coughed up the 5k and moved on. Overall, the experience just feels like they just want to charge you so much for repair. I mean nickel and dime you for service they have to perform on their own product that breaks down less than 100k.
My new 2021 Honda Ridgeline was making a funny sound so I brought it in for service. I couldn't have been more pleased. They listened to me, asked questions, and engaged me for help identifying the issue. It took a few hours but they found the issue and resolved it under the new car warranty (no cost). While I waited, I worked from the dealership, which is easy to do because there is plenty of space to sit and plug in. They also gave me a nice loaner car to get some lunch.
Back in September my lease for my jeep was ending and I needed to find something new, so I decided why not Honda? My first visit didn t go as planned, I was not able to get approved for the vehicle I was interested in and rather than help me explore my options, one of the financial advisors basically told me it was a no and goodbye. Had it not been for my service advisor Jacob Baker, I would not have gotten a car. From the time I met him, until the time of signature we communicated via email and text, looking at a couple of different options until we found what worked best for me. Jacob was so patient, gave a good explanation of each & very friendly. Thank you so much for helping me find my new car!!

Found the van I was looking for, in my price range, and they took great care of me!! I highly recommend this dealership! From Dave the sales guy and his team, to Jim the Used Car Manager, to Jason the Service Advisor and his team! Without going into specific details... My sliding door was not shutting properly and because of a miscommunication (probably my fault) they still took care of it no cost to me after my 30day warranty! The amazing part was they gave me a free loaner (CRV) because they thought they may have to send it to a Chrysler Dealership. They ended up sending it to a Chrysler dealership who fixed the issue and no charge to me! I was nervous I would have to pay for something after the 30day warranty and the hassle this Honda dealership went through to fix my Chrysler. They were all so great! Wonderful customer service start to finish!! Thank you for a great first time experience with your team! My goal is to make known how great customer should be!
Buying a car is often a pain in the neck experience but that was not the case with Inver Grove Honda. Zack could not have been more helpful and lower pressure. He had all of the information I needed and made my decision easy. It helped that they have a great selection and had exactly the certified used Honda that I was hoping to find. I would recommend IG Honda and Zack to anyone buying a new or certified used car.
