WORST MOVE EVER!!! I did a military move with them a month ago. My move coordinator horroriable. He was never there when I need him and would never return my calls. The guys who moved my furniture was great. Even though I had two pieces of my furniture that was damage. It took me almost a week to get my furniture after the date that it was due to arrive at my new places. The worst thing is that once the move is over, a representative calls you and tell you to give them all 5s on the Post-Move survey. Them knowing that the survey might affect their business with the military, they offer you some cash incentive if you give them all 5s.

Stay away from this company! This has been the absolute worst moving company that I have ever worked with. They lied about the location of my goods. They damaged more items than all the other companies I have used in the past. They were not even close to their delivery date. Worst of all, they are refusing to reimburse me for all the damages and missing high value items. It has been a nightmare dealing with them and the amount of time that I have wasted on the phone and writing emails just to get an answer from them is absurd.

Save yourself the time, money and frustration. Use a different company.

Do not trust this company with your belongings or business. This company outsources their movers from other states. These outsourced movers/companies are not liable for anything lost, stolen, broken, etc. For example, the movers who came from Texas to Utah to move belongings to Nevada, broke, lost, potentially stole, and left behind bellongings (entire large items!!!!), forcing the owners to go back and retrieve the items after moving. Also, the outsourced movers will show up unequipped, understaffed, and with the wrong size truck and there is nothing you can do about it. Interstate is so clueless that they call up to a month after the original delivery date and notify you that your stuff has been delivered. Complete unsatisfactory with this company. Don't use them unless you are desperate!

I don't have my things. I was promised delivery TODAY! And that was only after a series of unfun screw-ups.

1. When I phoned in to get an estimate and make my pick-up reservation, Samantha was courteous and assured me that:
A. The estimate included all packing materials, the moving crew's fee, and all other fees.
B. That I would receive my household goods at the destination on the date I specified as long as we scheduled the pick-up 7-10 days in advance of my needed delivery date.
C. I must say I was really pleased with Samantha's attention to detail over the phone with me. I was also really happy with the price because it was about $600.00 less expensive than going with U-pack. And with U-pack I would have had to both load and unload the truck on my own.
D. Samantha also promised that I could simply pay-in-full up front and would then only need to pay any excess if my amount of things went over the estimate. BUT that the way their system worked I had to do it in two separate payments. First a deposit to lock in my reservation, and THEN she would send me a separate payment form so I could pay the balance. Samantha never kept her promise. And when I wrote her about it, she kept sending me only the original deposit form not the one with the remaining balance. I was too busy to keep tracking her down over the next two weeks so i let it slide.
E. Samantha promised also that I would not have to make any payments in cash or by money order.

Move our Household Goods, Driver was rude and arrogant, and after a 3000 mile move to CA, all of our HARDWOOD furniture, brand new washer and dryer, and many other items were either destroyed or severely damaged.

This is a terrible moving company. My husband works for the Governemnt and we have moved several times. We have always had a good experience until now. This moving company needs to spend more time training their employees. During the pack out the guys were playing their music loud on their phones. One guy was playing some pretty sensual music, haha. It must have distracted them from their job because someone put three glass lamp shades, a beautiful blown glass bowl I got for my wedding and a subwoofer all in one box together! None of the glass items in that box were packed properly and they were all broken. Our living room couch and chair were brand new and when it arrived the wooden legs had chunks missing from them because they weren't protected correctly. Our tv stand was also broken and now the drawers don't pop open like they should. When the movers arrived to our new house it took four men 4 hours to unload boxes that came from a 1 bedroom 800sqft apartment. That is probably because two of them stood in the house waiting while the one young guy went back and forth from the truck grabbing boxes. Then the two guys inside would take a box to a room. We live in a small ranch style home they didn't have to go far to deliver the box. The fourth guy stayed in the truck the whole time moving boxes to the front of the truck. There were two older men who were clearly struggling to carry boxes. They also had an extremely hard time getting the one large item we had (couch) in the house. I can't imagine what it would have been like if we had a ton of furniture. One of them had no teeth, he smelled and he kept talking about a medical procedure he recently had done (the entire move). When it was time to do the evaluation that same guy stood over my husbands shoulder while he filled it out. How can someone be honest about their experience while the mover reads their responses over their shoulder?? Anway, as you can see bad experience. Take some time, do a little research and find a company that puts more effort into training their movers.

Fast, efficient, friendly, on time, very helpful. Just perfect. I highly recommend this company and will use them again if I need to move.
It was a year between packing up and finally moving into a new home. The delivery guys were just as efficient and helpful as the packers. everything was in great shape.

If you place ANY value on your belongings...emotional or monetary...DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Interstate packed us up the last week in April in Northern Virginia and held our stuff in storage until our new house was ready in North Carolina; More
