Service was great, staff were a joy to deal with, unfortunately hotel is a little outdated or that s what it feels like, some utilities were not working In the room.

Modern lobby with dark colours, the ambiance mode is making you feels depressed, WiFI is not provided to visitors such other 5 stars hotels. (Editing for their reply all other hotels are not having password for theirs WiFi as welcome gesture to thier visitores at lobby so why should i ask for it every time i do visit your hotel?!)

This third time to stay in Intercontinental Bahrain. It's good as expected. But rooms are getting little bit old somehow. Service is excellent as Intercontinental standards. Sure people were welcoming at the reception.

The rooms were amazing! The bed was perfect and the shower! my goodness the shower was the best part. After a 30 hour flight this was the closest thing to heaven I can imagine. The complimentary breakfast/tea time/happy hour more than make this place worth it. The staff is the friendliest I have ever met. I would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Bahrain.

In middle of downtown Bahrain. Very friendly staff and great service. However rooms need to be more lively and bright. Windows are very small so rooms look a little cramped for long term stay. But hotel offers good deals so worth trying

One of the oldest yet renewed and renovated hotels in Bahrain. Luxurious and spacious rooms with tasty breakfast and restaurants. The hotel is situated very close to the traditional Manama souq (market), which is a touristic attraction. The rooftop pool is good to cool down in the blazing summer heat.

Located at Manama center. Good place for stay a while in Bahrain.

If you like the smell of musty rooms that people smoked in for years before they went smoke free. This place is for you. They do their best to cover it up with overpowering scents which really just add to the stench. I had to switch rooms as in my first one everything felt damp to the touch. This place obviously hasn't been updated since the 70s. The only good thing about this hotel was the food they offered.

I have "gold elite" status and they still breakfast is not included?? And no lounge access??? As a matter of fact, as far as I can tell there is NO benefit from this status. Interconn IHG has the WORST "loyalty" program. Avoid.

Fast responding clean, friendly staff , for business they are fast to provide you invoices etc . Good food , for IHG members is good to go. They keep the points , sales team is good . Ramadan Buffay is good

Good, but not great. Stayed here several times. The refurbushed rooms are very nice, but most of the rooms are tired and worn. Bed is clean and very comfortable and service is very good.

This 5 star hotel is sophisticated and has many enjoyable facilities

Thank you for your rapid response to the photo. Unfortunately I just wish you responded to requests from ambassador club members and the lack of the guaranteed room upgrade for our stays. I am here with a large group and we are still waiting for a response to our missing points and room upgrades. It has been 11 or so days and no action so far.

It is not for lack of trying as we have attempted on numerous occasions to resolve this.

Great hotel. Good rooms and facilities. Will be back

Great atmospher, great service and super welcoming staff, rooms are great, clean and tidy, a wide choice of restaurants is available from continental and international, you should try the steak house and the down town restaurant, and the pizza in the Italian restaurant on mezzanine floor is great, all amenities are available either for a business or leisure stay.

Close to Bab Al Bahrain .. Old Market.

Of the finest hotels in Bahrain, the location is very close to the gold market, downtown Manama and the Diplomatic Quarter. The furniture is some kind of old but my experience is excellent

The restaurant is small , but the food was very good
