InterContinental Regency Bahrain Review

Ok, this was my first time visiting the country and this hotel. Let's start with the people.. Definitely, u reach out to Asst. Director of Sales Chrisa and say hello..She is very personable, professional and knowledgeable. She sat with the team during dinner and provided area insight along with other great tips. Wow, look at the birthday cake she arranged for my teammate birthday night during our stay. This was a first...Great Job Chrisa!!
To the club lounge team. Mohamed Shiena, Jion Siyam, Jessa and others did an outstanding job caring for our team and other members needs during the meals. Attentive, professional, intuitive, courtesy are a few words to describe them.

The room attendants and frontdesk staff definitely deserves a well done job also.

The building is in excellent shape with model features and strong WIFI. Thanks maintenance team.

Thanks security team for making us feel safe with your visibility and present.

Thanks to the chefs, cooks that provided the personal touch with the meals and special treats..

Lastly, evidently the management team is awesome based on the comments I provided about their teams. Great job management!!

I will definitely seek out your hotel when in the area again.

PS. Ask about "Downtown and the Element" if u want to hear live music and dancing in the hotel..)

The location of the hotel is close to Manama Souk, the hotel facilities are excellent, The rooms are very old and in need of renovation, the bathroom is small, There is a counter for members of the Intercontinental Ambassador but there is no employee, I had a problem with the bill at checkout as the entry officer did not register a reward night, Because of this, proceedings were delayed checkout.

The experience on the whole is excellent.

was there back in December for business ( i selected the hotel as I had previous great experiences when I visit Bahrain). Staff is the differentiator for this hotel and its dining facilities. the hotel dining restaurant as always, was full of great breakfast varieties and the chefs were delivering on our special needs. The restaurant Manager, I think her name was Rica, was extra-super caring for her clients and i think she is the value-add for this facility. Meeting rooms for business or workshops were quite new and contemporary. Location is wonderful as it is walking distance from old manama markets and close-by to major malls.

Great location and very friendly and helpful staff. Please try the SPA and ask for EVA. Excellent massage therapist

Awesome place for a great Ifthar experience .... Regency Ramadan Tent is the best place to meet up with friends and family during Ghabga under the palm trees, overlooking the pool...superb..

Lovely hotel. Attentive staff, but not obtrusive.
As an Ambassador, was given an upgrade to a suite on the 12th floor which has been recently refreshed. Room was great with everything you'd expect and more. Will definitely return.

my father md salim he is prasing the 5 star hotel its fantastic it has so many rooms and every thing we need so delight but for me it is nit a 5 star hotel but this 5 star hotel can defeat any country or a hotel but this 5 star hotel will be the winner and will win a tropy from saham md salin

I've stayed at numerous Intercontinental Hotels, and I have to say that this is one of the best out there! The concierge are fantastic, made me feel like I mattered and that I was given everything I needed to make my stay enjoyable. The restaurants onsite are a little pricey but the quality and the staff are extraordinary. If I'm ever going to be in Bahrain soon, this would be my hotel of choice, hands down.

Ramadan Food Tent had good menu and food was tasty. A bit costly but options they provide is worth it. Cold drinks and water will cost you 3-4 times more than their actual price.

The hotel is looking for excellence but staying there is better and does not mean it's bad on the contrary

Best mix drink is Malibu Sunset and the best shot Blue Sky from Hassan Hamdy (ma best homie)

Room and service is excellent. Breakfast was also outstanding. They were kind enough to let me do an early check in. The pool is not that big but is still awesome, i haven't tried it though because its cold outside at the moment.

The hotel is clean but the furniture is quite old
Breakfast is excellent and varied

My wife and I stayed for 2 nights. The reception staff are very good and although we arrived late at night, we had fast check-in and were in our room fast.
The hotel is very modern, clean, and comfortable. We slept very well on comfortable bed.
Rooms are clean and tidy.
We enjoyed time by the pool for drinks and enjoyed eating at the restaurant. The Downtown nightclub was good.
My only let down was staff at the downtown nightclub, when they took too long to return my credit card. I had to go and get it, as we had waited several minutes after I had entered pin number. There is no need to walk away when they have a potable credit card machine.
Well done to most staff and top compliments to the housekeeping staff.

The hotel is good, and its services are very fantastic and free, but its faultless with no suites, just rooms

The service was great. the rooms were spacious and well maintained. the breakfast buffet is excellent with a variety of international dishes. the parking lot is small and limited but they do have valet parking.

Great hotel conveniently located close to the souk. spacious and clean. Two pools, one on the roof, and access to a gym. Very good restaurant (especially Legendz Steackhouse - yum).
Staff very nice, friendly and helpful.
In short, I had a great stay in this hotel :-)

I ve been an IHG member for more than 8 years and have never had a bad experience. The Intercontinental Receptionists and Hotel staff are always welcoming. Will return, see you guys soon.
