One of the finest hotels I've ever stayed in. Magnificent building, great location and extremely comfortable beds. The staff are extremely pleasant and helpful, courteous and professional at every level. The Sunday Brunch is a must: such a wonderful experience in a beautiful restaurant.

Great central location, beautiful common areas. Received a complimentary upgrade to a superior room with an "Eiffel tower view" which is only obtainable when standing out on the balcony theoretically. Sadly this was obscured by the construction in the adjacent building. Service was great at the front desk. There is no swimming pool contrary to what it may say on certain review sites.

Friendly setting, pleasant room and not too small. At the price paid (330 / night), it is correct for Paris. But I would not pay the 1050 of the official rate for this room.
Food at the bar is excellent, but a bit pricey.

Very well located.

I tasted, in the glasshouse, a Manhattan and a tart with strawberries and mousse of strawberry and coconut: Delicious!
On the other hand some armchairs have a grated fabric ... Too bad

Stayed here Aug 15-19 2017. Very close to everything. As an ambassador member my room was upgraded to a small junior suite with an opera view. This hotel is historic and close to everything. Staff was friendly to me but I did see others complain about rooms and costs. I will agree the rooms are a bit dated but hey it's Paris. If you want a quiet room get a room on floor 3 or higher because the subway runs under the hotel and your room will rattle from 6am until well after midnight each day. Also as an ambassador member you have to book a club lounge room or greater if you don't your wasting your time trying to get complimentary club access you will be denied. Instead they will offer it to you for 130 euros per night. All in all my family and I had a pleasant stay!! My husband and I did come to the conclusion that if you travel with kids this hotel isn't the place unless you want to pay top dollar for the over priced prestige suite but if he and I are just traveling together we would stay at the LE Grand again!!!

It can be said that it is a representative five-star hotel in Paris. There are many Parisian ladies in the atrium who come here for afternoon tea. Because it is a historic building, the room is elegant but not big. The room with a higher height will have a spacious room. The bathroom, but including the copper towel rail, is also an old-fashioned Parisian. Getting up early and pushing the door out is the row of statues that the average person sees and the square in front of the Opera House. It is a rare feeling of living in the Modern Hotel in Paris, which makes people feel worthwhile. Another great place to deserve is its breakfast, all of which are top-quality fruits and vegetables, delicious European dessert cakes, and super delicious, succulent, fat-scented, topped smoked salmon, dried meat, and high-grade lettuce. The salad and the dazzling sauce are probably one of the most memorable breakfasts in the Parisian restaurant. From the breakfast room to the road is the famous Peace Coffee Shop and Opera House. This location is too convenient for shopping. In the past few years, some Taiwanese high groups will also come here to live.

Old school decor, personality, ambience. Elegant, quiet, with staff who are there when you need them, but not in your face when you don't. Rooms can be small, but you can't beat the location, which is perfect for central Paris (ask for a room in the Opera wing facing Garnier's opera building). Food and drink in the club lounge on the fifth floor are amazing all through the day. Would definitely stay again.

Difficult to compare w/o comparisons. Rooms are dated, but it s a historical hotel, shouldn t they be? Expensive? - It's Paris! One problem it did smell old, that s not good I guess. Everything else was very positive.
