Classic business hotel situated up the hill in Lisbon. Stay on the club floor to get access to the club lounge which has an extensive breakfast menu including dishes cooked to order. Only shame is the lounge is on the ground floor with no windows. The main bar has a happy hour each evening with 25% off the regular prices. All the staff are very welcoming.
Great location, excellent service and very clean inside. Renovations are not finished so wait times for elevator are long.
A really comfortable city hotel with good restaurant.
We stayed on the 15th floor in a renovated room. Wifi signal was non existent and the front desk didn't seem to understand the problem. Was woken up by housekeeping speak loudly and banging doors and carts in the hallway.
Excellent service.
Great facilities
Very clean
Sublime view
Beautiful modern hotel and very well managed. I appreciated the courtesy and helpfulness of the staff. Spacious and clean rooms. Good location for visiting the city, not very central but very well connected by public transport. In any case, taxis are cheap
5 stars

Beautiful environment. High prices, but you get the quality that you pay for.
Needs a lot to be good.
I believe that there is a lot to improve starting from the rooms till services.
Located close to the Marques de Pombal Curcle in Lisbon, a 5 star hotel, centrally location.
I like that hotel .... food is very good .the staff is a great
A five Star Hotel should a Pool and a spa Areal! ! Nice rooms but nothing special
Nice hotel with good service. Quite in azulejo style :) Nice bar with good drinks
Home very attentive and rooms very spacious and sober. Rich and varied breakfast. Good geographical situation for the visit and the shopping
We had to wiat 2 hours for a car to take us to the other hotel.
Worst experience ever at the Intercontinental Hotel in Lisbon. Five clothing items were stolen out of the hotel closet on the day I checked out. The Royal Ambassador concierge confirmed after many checks that the clothing had not been misplaced with housekeeping or the dry cleaner, but had in fact "disappeared". He told me to purchase new clothing items and I would be reimbursed. When I returned and submitted receipts, the hotel manager, Artur Fernandes was incredibly offensive and rude, insinuating that he did not believe us. I went back and forth with the hotel for 4 months. I was told to provide my checking account and routing number via email in order to be reimbursed, which I let them know I was not comfortable with. After doing so I rerceived a late email reply saying I would NOT be compensated after providing all of the receipts and sensitive banking information. It has been the most violating experience with customer service I have been through and I would advise you do not stay at this establishment. To have a staff member steal from my room, be accused of lying, and then told I had to provide my personal financial account information only to not receive reimbursement is totally unacceptable. We are ROYAL AMBASSADOR guests and that customer service department would not even help beyond providing an email. DO NOT stay at this unprofessional hotel.
I love this downtown Lisbon site and a hotel with a super quality
A hotel to remember for the kindness of its staff, for its perfectly equipped spacious rooms with comfortable beds. Excellent buffet breakfast and the treatment we received exceptional. All perfect.
5* for this hotel! Great location and the staff are genuine, attentive and helpful, from the front entrance bellman to front desk check-in. Standard rooms are spacious, well equipped and cleanliness is topnotch. Guests get free access to the pool in the health club just opposite the hotel, in the park area. Breakfast buffet one of the best in my opinion. The quality of the food and fruits are incredible. Highly recommend!
Nice hotel, good staffs.
The place is nearby city center, quiete so if you are traveller for business, its a very good choice. But it seem not safe in the night for walk out because there are not many people in the night here. Good place to park your car. They have small ground before the hotel to park car.
The room is clean but a little small.
Common good choice for the business trip!
very good hotel in lisbon, clean, chic centrally. Prices were ok for 5 stars, 150 euros the night. Top hotel
Here I have no real words !!! The amazing view from the very nice rooms, the excellent service above all, the amazing food in the restaurant and the so smiling and willing staff that made our stay unforgettable !!
Great hotel and service as always . Sadly my room on 8th floor had no nice views so no pics to share
This place is home for us each time we come to do business. Thanks Intercontinental.

Checked in after an unusually long delay. Entered my room to find the bed made but an ironing board and iron in the middle of the room. Then found a letter open on the desk addressed to another guest. I tried calling the front desk several times but all of the calls went unanswered. I went to the front desk and told them it appeared they had given me an occupied room and asked why they had not answered the phone. They told me they were busy. I told them that calls to the front desk should ring through to the manager or to some other person if they did not answer the phone. No response. I got another room. When I got in the room I turned the A/C on and started getting ready to nap. The room didn't get any cooler. I put my hand over the vent and found warm air coming out of it. I shut it off, opened the window and took a nap in the well lit room. When I got up I went to the front desk and told them the A/C didn't work. A maintenance man came up, dropped a panel from the ceiling, and turned the unit from heat to A/C. The hotel failed to provide a quality experience on several levels. Giving a guest a room key to an occupied room presents a huge security and privacy issue. Not answering the front desk phone is a disservice to the guests and implies a lack of care. Needing a maintenance man to select between heating and cooling tells me that the antiquated system needs to be updated if guests are to have a comfortable experience. Huge failure on all fronts.
Amazing rooms. Good location. Only problem is walking back it is uphill but no complaints.
It is nice, but it was very loud in the midnight when I stayed at New Year's Eve.
I don't know why hotels abroad are superior to those in Italy
Room service is fantastic specially for frequent business traveler like me. Enjoyed my stay and will visit again and again.
This hotel has been many things in the past including a Meridien and a Jumeirah and now an intercontinental. I found it to be quite soulless. I went to the bar once and it was completely empty. And this was on a Friday night. I also found it to be very dark and ggloony. The rooms have been done up recently and they are quite good. They no longer have bath tubs and replaced them with a large walk-in shower which quite frankly I prefer. The breakfast offering was just ok.
Best beds in Lisbon. Staff are great. Can be expensive depending on the day but one of the best hotels in Lisbon despite the slight out of the way location from the tourist sights but Uber is cheap. There's a small gym and a bar and restaurant. It's frequented by important guests and politicians. The general manager is very helpful. Kitchen can be hit or miss on room service.
Rooms are decent and the breakfast is standard yet the hotel staff are neither friendly or nice nor do they properly help with arranging restaurants and attractions (claimed to book a place but when we arrived we were told it's not reserved).
Always friendly, always elegant, excellent service with a smile
An excellent hotel in Lisbon. Very comfortable and a very well decorated environment. TV with several sports channels.
Very good wifi. Very attentive and friendly staff.
Hotel staff not friendly given the price you pay. Not the best value for money in the surroundings.
Not complying with schedules
Bad food
Bad service
one of the best in town!
the AKLA restaurant is a must
Everything you can expect from the InterContinental. From the service and the rooms, to the luxuries, and even the minibar selection. Only fault would be the breakfast, which seemed quite ordinary, nothing special, but what you would expect from any standard hotel. In terms of location, it is a little walk from the main sites, so factor at least 30 mins walking to the main square or 40 mins to the water and Timeout market.
Would definitely stay here again, the bed was super comfy and the shower just shine and relaxing. Perfect place for a weekend get away.
Excellent business hotel with great location. If you want to be close to the ocean I would suggest nearest city of Estoril.
Clean rooms, nice view. Near the centre. You can enjoy a drink at the lounge cafe. Staff is very helpful and kind.
Very Good, Akla RESTAURANT excellent, beautiful decor, fantastic service
Lovely hotel. But hotel staff is a little arrogant for my liking. You really get a sense that they are doing you a huge favour by assisting you or answering any questions
Very good and very well located - next to Eduardo VII park
Wonderful time in the hotel and the service was superb
Service attitude is good. The fruit plate is relatively simple. Platinum card rose to the first level
Good location, rooms and service. Highly recommend.
A very nice hotel with very friendly and helpful staff! They have someone play the piano every evening which was quite nice. The International Club access can make your stay even more special with a separate less crowded space available for breakfast as well as during the evening happy hours.
In congress mode with about 300 people, lunch and healthy time got very tight.
Very nice hotel and service. Room fully equipped. Super attentive staff. Parking is expensive as heck. So just for the night would be better to park outside since after a certain hour you dont pay. Super close to everything (restaurants, metro, stores) & it's in the middle of the city, awasome to walk at night.
Good very good value for money differs from pricey services to luxury breakfast staff of an exemplary proficiency thanks
Rating is for a five star hotel. Nothing wrong with the hotel but there are areas that need to be improved. Getting a hold of someone on the phone was a challenge. They forgot to bring something we asked for, the rooms are dated and there are stains on the carpet (they've started renovations so this will improve but I'm basing this on the majoriry of floors as of May 18), and other similar small issues that shouldn't be present at a "five star" hotel.
Luxury Hotel
Good taste and sobriety with a beautiful entrance.
Very comfortable 5 stars hotel close to the Lisbon center. Nice place for business conference and events
