Location, views, staff and food are so good. We arrived so exhausted from a long day of work and the staff really took care of us and let us check out at a later time. The design of the hotel is so nice and it made me wish I could have stayed longer to enjoy the hotel more.

My family and I stayed here as part of a birthday holiday weekend celebration. Given the Houston Rodeo is going on we were surprised to be able to reserve a room using IHG rewards points so we were looking forward to our stay here. It started out good enough. The head of their valet parking let use know what levels in the parking garage, while not the best for large trucks we found s good parking spot and the garage elevator delivered us right to the very nice lobby. The staff was very friendly greeting us, getting us checked in and directing us to our room. The elevators to the rooms are nice and clean. We were also pleased to find the room was very clean, nicely set up, and appeared comfortable at the time. The beds were nice, but not at the level you would expect for a 4-5 star hotel. We didn't eat at the restaurant, but we did hear a couple of complaints about it that are in line with other reviews on here. As for the room, a major issue we noticed was a lack of usable power outlets and only four (4) USB "plugs" for charging cellphones, tablets, etc. Only two (2) of the working power outlets were close enough to the beds for me to use with my CPAP machine which was inconvenient. Another issue was the room temperature. During the night it was either too warm or too cold. It was not an equipment problem as much as it seems it is the placement of the thermostat in the room. Our check-out was also good and the staff very friendly. Overall we can't give this location more than 3 stars and would definitely not stay here if we were not using reward points given the regular room rates and parking garage layout.

Lovely experience as a hotel guest and an event attendee. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, both down in the lobby, at the entrance, the cleaners, as well as all the staff members who were present and tending to the 3 day event.

The hotel is spacious, well laid out and well lit, with a lovely ambience throughout.

Our room was on the 21st floor, large, comfortable, clean, with a beautiful view. The bathroom was great, with good heating and excellent water pressure. And in-room amenities met all our needs perfectly for our stay.

There is a grocery store about 15 minute's walk away, and a starbucks within about 5-10 walking distance, as well as a number of different dining options (Halal Guys, Salata, Pizza, Poke, etc). The area surrounding the hotel is very clean and although there are certain areas where road work is taking place, the area feels pretty safe to walk around.

Further down, also in walking distance is a park with an outdoor theater, and a few more attractions.

Overall, a very impressive and lovely experience.

I stayed for eight days due to sick relative. Other places - Wyndham, Hyatt - had doubled prices (Rodeo) but IH didn t (thank you). It is new and breaking itself in. Staff is GREAT - bartender, wait staff, desk staff, housekeepers. Kitchen is below par - limited menu, cold entrees, inferior breakfast buffet, steak done wrong, room service late, I asked for a dill pickle with my burger, sorry we don t have any. And it is all about money - no microwave in room so as to keep you from bringing in your own food, automatic 20% tips for room service, delivery fee for room service (!), no outside food delivery to room, liquor prices above normal range, no housekeeping in the evening (they skipped my room one day). You expect that the top of the line offering of a hotel chain would try to deliver thoughtful realistic service - pardon me for expecting that. The Wyndham and basic Hyatt right nearby do a much better job.

We attended a gala dinner, February 21, 2019; the place is new, well set. Excellent service, and first class foods. Special mention to the desserts, the tower of 3 chocolates and the cheesecake with red fruits. Coffee needs attention, the one we were served did not reach the minimum standards.

Such a nice place felt welcomed. Staff very attentive, Herschel was especially helpful. Food was great, hall was set up nicely and if there was any issue staff was around to assist, did not need to go searching for help. Hopefully All Vegas Experience will do another event there soon.

It has been a while since I have been in a sub- 4 star hotel that has a bathrobe in the wardrobe. To be fair, the bathrobes in 4 star hotels are heavier and thicker, but it is the thought that counts. The side facing Main street is noisy. From my 10th floor room I could hear the traffic, street construction, and emergency vehicles. Be prepared to pay $20-$30 per night for parking. Complimentary breakfast has not been invented yet in this hotel. Overall, good location and clean roomy rooms.

Proximity to our Dr. Appts. They show in amenities that they have shuttle service. Don t believe them as they have one courtesy car for the entire hotel!!

Went for an event this past week, and Matt Issa was a banquet manager and he was lovely to work with. Never had such great service. He was so responsive and helpful. You won't be disappointed if you have an event here. It was also super clean/beautiful!!!

A beautiful Hotel with friendly staff that make you feel like you are wanted here. Definitely a perfect choice if you want the clean stay in a beautiful and friendly environment. They name their suites, which shows deeper into how much they value the facility.

Lovely hotel. Our family stayed two nights during our Chanukkah vacation week. Everything in the room was nice, worked well, and felt comfortable. The staff were friendly & helpful.

I was pleasantly surprised to see in the lobby a menorah with candles for each night of Chanukkah, along with a couple of dreidels, on the concierge's desk. It was a kind gesture that didn't detract from their other holiday decor, but also helped our family (and others) feel welcome.

Sheetrock on hallway floor sat there all weekend even though employees walked right over all day long. Exit signs falling out of ceiling. If you're a smoker, Go somewhere else. They tell you can smoke in the parking garage. Nice huh?

Self parking was $23. Valet is $34. The lobby was pretty nice and the receptionists were sharply dressed. The bed was comfy and the bathroom was really nice. We had a room on the 14th floor, overlooking the 9th floor pool and several houses in the distance. The pool looked kind of small, but I never tried it. Overall, it was an enjoyable stay if a little overpriced. The location is great though.

Can t say enough great things about this hotel. Rooms and beds are super comfortable. Very quiet. Nice workout room and lap pool with relaxing pool area. Food is outstanding. Carl, the Restaurant Manager, is wonderful and will make sure you get whatever you need! Don t miss his 7 spice flatbread. It s incredible! Hazar at the bar is a delightful host and has great restaurant recommendations. They have a car that will take you back and forth to MD Anderson and all the hospitals at the Medical Center. Robert, the driver, was so pleasant, accommodating and helpful. Everyone made a not so fun trip comfortable and as enjoyable as it could be. Tip: You don t need a car. Parking at the hotel is expensive and their car will take you anywhere within a 2 mile radius of the hotel. That s all you need. Great restaurants, pharmacy, shopping etc all within 2 miles.

I am enjoying my stay here! People here are just super nice and friendly, including those at the restaurant! They put customers first and try to satisfy all your requests. They make you feel welcomed. Sometimes their service is beyond expectation! They make mistakes sometimes but they will make up for it. There were a few times the breakfast fruit was molded. But they replaced it after I told them. Sometimes it may take several times before they get my requests right. The housekeepers can be careless sometimes.

Lovely hotel right in the hospital district. I am blocks from my nursing workshop. Love that the elevator from the parking garage takes you to the hotel lobby. Very friendly reception staff. Rooms were large, beds super comfortable. Had room service for supper and the meal was delicious
