One of the worst hotel experiences I ve ever had.

One of the worst hotel experiences I ve ever had.

1) The hotel is fully booked but is understaffed like it s still March 2020. No room service, spotty housekeeping, yet they still booked the whole hotel at full price.

2) The elevator situation absolutely ruins the experience. You have to take THREE elevators to reach your room, each of which has a line of 20-30 people at any given time. This means it ll take you 20-30 minutes to go up or down the elevators. This elevator setup is permanent!

3) Valet is an absolute joke (a $50 a night joke). It s extremely slow and thus always packed, it takes 10-15 minutes to drop off the car and even longer to pick up. You can t just leave your car, you have to wait for the uninterested valet hops to get to you before you can leave.

4) All employees had a I don t have time for you attitude, from the valet, to the front desk, to the restaurant employees. The restaurant employees were especially rude and were annoyed that your even DARE ask if they have available reservations. The employees made me feel like a trespassing criminal for daring to go up to the 73rd floor to order food. They had to get manager approval to allow me to even go up there!

If you re booking this thinking it ll be a luxurious, relaxing experience, you re wrong. I would have gotten better customer service and attention at a dingy motel.

Gorgeous hotel and conveniently located. Spire 73 on the roof is top notch. Only reasons why this is not five stars is that multiple floors and the lobby reeked of weed at times (even though this is a non-smoking hotel), the lobby wasn t super clean earlier in the morning (cups left everywhere, parts of the floor were sticky), and the folks in the valet concierge could learn some customer service training (though the actual valet drivers were amazing).

This hotel is by far one of the WORST hotels I have ever stayed at. If you stay at this hotel get ready to be inconvenienced. They do not care about their guest. Items were stolen out of my hotel room and nothing has been done about it. My highly expensive chanel perfume was taken and I have not received a reimbursement. A whole investigation was done and they are claiming to have found 0 evidence when I gave them proof, filed a claim, and spent hours on phone calls with them just for them to say I was lying! This hotel is horrible, don't even get me started on their insane elevator set up! It is a mess! Do NOT stay here, trust me. 0 out of 5 stars.

When in Los Angeles, I like to stay in good places. This is my favourite hotel, great location to Los Angeles downtown. Good shopping, lots to do in the area and close to everything. Uber is a nice way to get around downtown or even a nice walk around at anytime is nice.

The rooms are clean, all have great views and they treat you like a vip. I recommend to try their sky bar abd lounge bar, really great atmosphere and service. Please don t forget to try the pool abd hun as well.

Let me know what you think. I like to hear your thoughts.

Just stayed here over the weekend. I have stayed at the JW Marriott downtown recently as well and will stay there before staying here again.

Pros
-Front desk customer service was awesome.
-Hotel is located next to the Chic fil a, Target, H&M, Nordstrom Rack and some other shopping stores.
-The gym is phenomenal. One of the best hotel gyms I ve ever been too.

Cons
-Trying to find the entrance to valet was very confusing. Drove around the hotel twice.
- Have to go through 3 elevators just to get to your room from valet is ridiculous.
- Long wait to receive your car at valet.
- No water in the gym or the hotel lobby you have to wait until after your workout to have it delivered to your room.
- Bathroom was not clean.
- Long lines at the elevators.
-No refrigerator in the rooms.

Oh yea and if you are going to stay here your key card controls the power in the room and the A/C. We was not told that upon checking in. We figured that out after hours of being in our room hot that there is a slot by the door that you put your key card in when you are inside of the room.

Alex was one of the crews of this brilliant hotel. He helps me with my things to put it in my room. He never hesitates to help me when He saw me struggling. The dining area was spacious. The lounge bar serves good mixed drinks as well. The most important was I felt relaxed the whole week stayed at this hotel. Recommended!

Great place to watch the sunset, good food, huge drink menu, wonderful attention from all service people, they even give you blankets to stay warm, it gets windy at that height.
Will definitely come back. Reservations are a must.

Great place to stay! We got the suite with a corner windows. Such breathtaking views and from our suite we could see most of the city including the Hollywood sign!

They have valet parking and the hotel is very central. Unfortunately not all of the restaurants were open due to covid, however the rooftop bar is open. There is a cover fee and you are suggested to make reservations. Also a time limit of up to two hours are allowed once inside.

We loved the InterContinental hotel for the views and experience. We look forward to return for another trip.

Nice hotel and very affordable. I have stayed here around 4 times now. Staff is super friendly and helpful. The food was good too.
The downtown area is changing, but it's still not very safe at night.
