Competent and friendly staff. Spa and rooms with everything you need. International breakfast Location close to business sector and attractions. Highly recommended!
First a good coffee. Perfectly served. Friendly staff. Equipment comfortable.
Great establighment in fantastic location. Friendly and helpful checkin staff. 15euro for a sauna is a bit steep though
We stayed at Hotel Helene. The service was sporadic, but the drinks very good and tasty.
Hotel has the expected amenities, but the room layout is poorly designed (e.g., confusing lightswitches), and the lobby and meeting areas (and, if I turn on the HVAC in my room, there as well) trigger bad pollen allergies for me and a number of other attendees at the meeting I'm at. (No problems with allergies outdoors, since it's January, and I don't get pollen allergies all that often.)
Was already a new experience, otherwise do not get off in this class. The crowd was very mixed (weekend), the service courteous businesslike. Room very well equipped with comfortable beds and of course air conditioning. The breakfast in a very large area with plenty of supply and staff was of course not familiar, which you did not expect at a conference hotel. Nevertheless a pleasant experience.
Lovely hotel and fantastic staff. The location is great with everything in walking / cycle distance
The hotel is very nice and the staff was very friendly as well
Smelly rooms poor management and awful service all round. Slow, unresponsive and rude staff, long queues check in and out. Baggage handling lacks any semblance of organisation. Breakfast was a poor experience with 'forgotten' orders and multiple complaints. Avoid - this is not even a one star experience. For the price any Berlin hotel is better.
Consistently messed up access to rooms, not the best service.
My absolute favorite hotel in Berlin and worldwide.
Very nice lobby. The Intercontinental has a huge ballroom with the largest dance floor in Berlin
Hotel for businessmen / would not use it privately / very large man has to walk a lot
Good business hotel with generous rooms. Not a fan of the room design though as there are windows from the main bed/living room to the bathroom.
Warm staff with the famous Berliner Schnauze. Room after renovation much more pleasant and beautiful. The coffee maker is difficult to use. Otherwise very great club lounge.
Just 5 star service and a wonderful place to stay so near to Zoo and shopping
Very good hotel which I have used sometimes when I am here in Berlin. The rooms are super and the service is top notch.
The hotel has a very nice setup and very well organised. Attending the osisoft user conference and the hotel has several meeting rooms and a huge difference set of conference facilities.
Super HOTEL - many great guests sometimes to be found :)
Staying in the Intercontinental Berlin, we are enjoying our stay immensely. From accommodation to food to the very helpful and friendly staff we could not have asked for more.
Unfortunately we did not realise we should have booked the Michelin restaurant disappointed it was fully booked and not open Sunday or Monday evening. So do book do not leave it to the last minute.
However, we will most certainly return to this hotel.
Firstly, the service we received from Josefine was impeccable. Josefine was extremely friendly, very helpful and informative and even gave us free buffet breakfast as a gift as it was our honeymoon! Then our room was wonderful. So clean, comfortable and spacious. Will definitely recommend InterContinental for anyone travelling to Berlin.
Very modern styling in the rooms. Everything was exceptionally clean. Included a fantastic breakfast!
Very high comfort and standing. Quiet and close to the center. Very professional staff. Excellent experience.
Large business hotel
with a large swimming pool, that is very nice for the children of course.
Full breakfast, they even have Asian steamed buns, rice soup for Chinese guests, something different every day.
Spacious rooms, like all other intercontinental hotels, with good beds and a luxurious bathroom. If the budget allows it, book a suite, one for the children and one for yourself, then you have a living room next to your bedroom, which is more pleasant for a long stay. Good tip: put valuables and cash in the safe, do not leave it lying around in the room.
What also surprises me is that on our floor, some older couples, German guests, are very friendly to us and the children. Which makes our stay even more pleasant of course.
Nice location, a little wear-and-tear on the facility. Helpful staff.
Very nice hotel, with slightly annoying staff/regulations.
Great hotel with a fantastic breakfast buffet and a large spa area. The fitness area is also larger than you can see at first glance. The staff is always courteous and helpful. There are also enough employees at breakfast. The exception are the bellboys, who stood unhelpful next to the entrance, so that the large lobby was mostly unoccupied - I would have expected a greeting and goodbye.
All in all a large, beautiful hotel with great and sufficient staff. :)
Thanks for the stay.
Slick rooms. Bar and restaurant are expensive. You can ask for toothpaste at reception.
Great hotel with nice marlene bar and yummy restaurant, exhibition area and spa
Beautiful, delicious, good service, morning buffet with ALT
Very friendly and very comfortable the hotel, although I do not know if it is well located for tourism
It is a very normal hotel, and it is not fancier in Winter, there are better hotels in Berlin, and the price is overrated
One of the biggest hotels in Berlin is the Intercontinental located just of the zoo and aquarium and a 10 minute walk from the Kurfurstendam and shopping at KaDeWe and centre of town. The hotel is about a 20 minute taxi ride from the airport TXL and it is typically around 20, and most cabs accept credit cards but check before you leave. The hotel has several buildings and most rooms are renovated. The club lounge is located on the 8th floor with great views over the town and surrounding area. The lounge serves breakfast, afternoon tea and evening canapes and drinks. There is an extensive cheese and bread table as well and an excellent selection of cold and warm canapes that changes every day. The drink and spirits offering is very good with a focus on local premium brands. There is also an all day offering with tea, coffee, beer and soft drinks as well as fruit and nibbles. The hotel has a large Spa with a good size pool and an extensive list of treatments. There is also a big gym with lots of equipment. The rooms are big and well designed and the club rooms have big bathrooms with both a bath and rain shower head as well as a good size wardrobe. If you haven't booked a club room they offer club access at 88 per room. Overall a good luxury hotel with good service and a nice lounge with a good offering.
Very good place. Beautiful hotel nearby to lot of places. Food is fantastic. Lot of doors easily to get lost on conventional center. As multiple events happening
Great hotel. Good price/value and very decent breakfast. Amenities are very good.
Great location, close to the park and public transport. Beautiful neighborhoods nearby. The services of the hotel are excellent.
Fantastic Hotel in the center of the Zoo area, unforgettable breakfast
Hi There, I believe you have a missed one digit in your telephone number on your website and on google search, when we crosschecked with other numbers of Berlin, it is showing 10 digit numbers. Please update so somebody else will not face the same problem as I did. Cheers, Manju
Short trip to Berlin. Nice hotel, friendly welcome, international audience. Shopping street within walking distance, animal park nearby. Rooms were clean, beds comfortable and room layout good. Problem was the parking garage for large cars (van, bus) vehicles with a long wheelbase, recommendation would be to inquire at the front desk for parking Bay. Pool area nice and clean, also jacuzzi. Loungers available to relax. Excellent breakfast, nothing was missing. Price-performance ratio was for Berlin on the weekend completely appropriate, especially since the hotel offers a lot of service.
Rooms are ok, the best are very confortable but the wifi it is very bad when the hotel is fully booked.
Excellent hotel with spa and good restaurant, in an easily accessible location right next to the Berlin Zoo
Room is in good shape and the hotel is clean and up to date. Bed is comfortable and quiet. Pleased with how close the hotel is to U-Bahn, Bus and major stations. Shopping nearby is great and there are plenty of food options within a 10-30 min walk.
A major U-Bahn Station is just a 10 minute walk away but the 200 Bus stops right outside the hotel which is very convenient since it goes to lots of useful areas and other major stations.
Convenient location, perfect service, very polite and ready to help personal!!!
