Rooms, service, breakfast buffet, and convenient location all excellent. Highly recommend.

There is a convenient location in the city for movement, free WiFi, but the response will be worse when it is crowded. In the hotel, LINE, Gmail was usable, but some sites are blocked. Other measures such as VPN are required.
Also, the display location on the map is different. On the other side of the street, a little more east. Let's be careful!

The hotel is incredible. In the center of the town in very good spot. Huge rooms with nice views, especially on the upper floors after the 30th :) in the hotel have numerous halls and meeting and business venues. In the restaurant you can enjoy fine Chinese traditional dishes and recipes from all over the country. In the morning a rich breakfast is served. Every leva here will be given here without a feeling or feeling that you have passed :)

I was satisfied with the intercon at an inexpensive price, but it was comparable to Conrad who went the next day. Room but not large hotel is just a year, I did not when the check-in to arrive late in the night the plane employees no apparent kindness was Bo would stay overnight showed blood on the bath tub (maybe an insect dead seemed?) Did not have complaints separately . The next time I go to Dalian, I don't want to stay.

Clean and spacious room. Was there 1 week for business. Bed is really comfortable. Unfortunately lighting in the room was a bit too dark and aircond is hard to control.
The room service was lovely, they left noted in my room after cleaning.
One night we was looking for food nearby so we approached the concierge counter, the guy even lead us to the store which is 10min walk away from the hotel (so sweet!).

Mixed review. The hotel is old and needs a renovation badly. The main gathering rooms were cold and not friendly to guests, maybe because my stay was within days of the lunar New Year Spring Festival celebration. But, I was VERY happy with one guest service rep Amy Zhao who went out of her way to make sure we were accommodated very well, almost enough to return there next time.

People do not speak English in the restaurant...how is this possible !?

The rooms are big and clean wich are value for money. However, the mainteniance is unsatisfactory.

Some rooms have a mildew-like smell, and room delivery is perfunctory. Others are not bad, such as large room area, good view, low price in the off season.

Although this is Intercontinental and rated as 4 star but the maintenance is terrible Room smells, bathroom dirty......
Even the service is good but not enough to cover a bit.
Swiss hotel or Kempinsky are much better in city.

Room has a sense of quality and is calm.
I could not confirm where the mattress was made, but it is comfortable with moderate hardness.
However, it was disappointing that there was no washlet because it was not a Japanese hotel.
NHK was described in the information guide, but now NHK is not shown.

You can experience a five star hotel at an inexpensive price. Located in the center of Dalian, it is very convenient for sightseeing.
Room condition is also good.
However, pool and sauna are better than expected.
There is no sky lounge bar.
Instead, the club lounge is on the 46th floor ... coffee. You can drink tea etc.
There is a restaurant on the sixth floor. Breakfast is good.
There are many kinds of breads, and many kinds of food are prepared. Fruits are fresh and delicious (watermelon pineapple, etc.)
Many Wi-Fi sites are slow and blocked.
Before you travel to China, please install VPN Master.
There is a small food night market around.

The beer beer craft beer on the basement floor is delicious. Note that the map location is wrong.

Serving wine and cake for the anniversary celebration, the entrance floor is a red rose petal shaped like a heart.
It was very touching and memorable.

nice hotel, amenities are perfect , various choices of breakfast..recomended to stay but stay away from the spa and massage service at floor # 7.

In December this year, it was my second stay at intercontinental Dalian hotel. As a five star hotel it's really very good hotel to stay for business people. The rooms are quite spacious. If you are an IHG club member you will certainly see a very good treatment coming on your way.
The rooms are clean and cozy. The hotel is located very close to the Bay. The restaurant is at the 6th floor and serves a good breakfast and dinner. Very popular amongst foreigners.
The taxi service outside is good and none had to wait for more than few minutes.
