One of the first 5* hotel in Abu Dhabi,good restaurants, best servise and nice staff.

Stayed for 3 nights with my wife and 18 month old to break up our long haul trip. Very nice and clean hotel that's child friendly with kid pools and play areas. Staff are very friendly and helpful. There's not much around the outside of the hotel within walking distance, but there's plenty of food options available inside the hotel. Highly suggest getting the premium all inclusive food and drinks package if you intend on remaining at the hotel. Great size gym that's well equipped. We had a suite room which included a mini kitchen with fridge and microwave which was perfect with a kid. A suggestion would be to equip the kitchen with items like cutlery, plates, cleaning items to do dishes. Overall an excellent hotel to stay as a break before returning home after a couple weeks of travelling.

Staff:
The staff were extremely friendly, and the level of service offered was one of the best. On check-in, advice on the key sites and ways to travel was provided by the hotel porter.

Room:
The room was very clean and a comfortable size with a beautiful view of the city. The bathroom was well equipped with toiletries and topped up daily.

Pool/gym:
I wouldn't usually mention these in a review but the views from both the pool and gym really stood out. It even encouraged me to go to the gym during the holiday which is a bonus!

Location:
Very nice location which is walking distance to many landmarks if you wish to go for an evening/late afternoon walk.

Other:
Weather was sunny and sit by the pool temperature except for 2 days where it was windy/raining. Need to pay for tennis equipment.

InterCon is one of Abu Dhabi's oldest icons, this hotel provided the best attractions back in the day as it still does, it kept its authenticity with high quality products and high standard services and that is what makes it unique, it is definitely one of the places that you have to visit if you have time or planning a getaway or even wanna have a romantic quality time with your partner, as they also have one of the best international loyalty programs, even if you didn't want to stay the night there they do have one of the best restaurants and bars there with a marina view, so enjoy

The staff is very accommodating and very discreet.

Was only there for a dinner. Incredibly cozy right down to a small harbor. The dinner was super delicious and a bit pricey. But can be highly recommended

Ate at the Brazilian steakhouse. It was great. Go early and get it half off.

Never inappropriate for families, an unbearably conservative place

Nice hotel with very friendly staff. Greetings anytime and always helpful. Pools and beach are very good. The food in the main restaurant is also very good and offers a lot of choice, but unfortunately it repeats too fast. We were there during Ramadan, there were no restrictions, I would say. A star deduction because of the quick repetition of the courts (although that hardly matters in the large selection, but you could do it differently), because of the location, which is good, but within walking distance is really nothing good to reach (taxis but are cheap) and because of my assessment, that with children quickly gets a problem, the kitchen offers hardly any dishes for children in the main restaurant (at least not obviously at the buffet).
And personally, the music in the restaurant and at the pool annoyed me already after two days. 90% of the time there is repetitive synth duds, with striking elements that repeat themselves for several minutes.

Cheap hotels around the world provide free internet. This not-so-cheap hotel tries to charge you tons of money for BAD internet. Had to go down into the lobby to get a steady signal and the staff was not helpful on that point.

Best dining options in Abudhabi. Chamas is the best one though.

Abu Dhabi with the family and this in the Intercontinental with a wonderful sandy beach and the marina on the doorstep. The pools heated to 30 degrees and the clean sea at least 24 degrees. Whirlpool with 38 degrees and natural shade under mighty palm trees. In addition, a rich selection of delicious dishes and drinks.
Perfect service by extremely friendly and helpful staff.

Darius/ all the guys from reception and concierge ... Very helpful man in the concierge he do the all transportation for our group from Abu Dhabi police .... Abdulla from AD police ....

Very famous and old landmark hotel in Abu Dhabi, building new building nearby I suppose, good place, good views,,, Emirates palace, Qasr al watan, corniche etc are on walking distance from here.

Ace. Brilliant staff, so friendly, helpful and unassumng. Choice of restaurants is excellent.

Great Sunday brunch with free flow Champaign and fantastic seafood choice

Free internet speed is so slow. The room and the toilet look so bad and used alot. Marbel became yellow and the bathtub is scrached and has some cracks. The AC is also another issue in this hotel. Its warm even if you put it on 18 deg with hi fan speed

One of my favorite and most loved hotels in the heart of the city. Wonderful views of the city and ocean. The hotel is beautiful. The marble in the lobby is so perfect. The rooms are spacious and well adorned.

It has been 7 weeks since my stay at Intercontinental Abu Dhabi and I still have not received my security deposit back from the room. I keep being told that my request has been forwarded to finance. Hopefully this review will prompt them to send the refund, as phone calls and emails are ineffective.

It was ok.. Was here for an orientation.. Food was ok.. And i was disappointed by the cleanliness.. And the toilets werea bit dirty.. Maybe i just walked in at the wrong time..

I never slept their, but I love to spend some time around their yacht docks

This is one if the most iconic and long time hotels in the Abu Dhabi. It has been part of UAE's history and success. Even the special events of my family and friends have been done here. Salute! It has so much ample parking spaces and the staff are generous to assist everybody! Well done!

It must be said that even if it is not the most modern hotels in the area it is still very good and especially the value for money is really excellent!
The rooms are large, the staff is very nice and the service is quality.
Housekeeping very well done, smiling welcome, everything is perfect at this level.
