An absolutely fun place for a weekend getaway. 5 stars all the way. A splendid beach and temperature controlled pool to beat this heat. The service was amazing, the staff is very helpful, the rooms are absolutely cozy and the views are great. This has been my 5th or 6th time here in Abu Dhabi Intercontinental and I must say it is one of the best hotels across UAE. Thank you

This hotel is nice. Quite old and needs refurbishing here and there, maybe updated TVs etc. but overall it was a pleasant stay. The staff was very professional and accommodating.

This hotel does really need to catch with the competition in Abu Dhabi, needs to be renovated in urgent basis.

The food in selection restaurant are few and does not even match the "good standard".

The hotel is everything! Staff and service are amazing. The spa is expensive but it s very good and relaxing. Selections restaurant has the best buffet breakfast I ve been to in the world, I mean there is so much to pick from. The pool side is great and there is a hotel beach about 2 mins walk from the hotel. The hotel grounds have restaurants and bars and a little marina as well.

We only went through the lobby for lunch to eat in the restaurant circo it was unfortunately ramadan and we could eat there but only very good lunch the ambience of the restaurant was a bit too colorful for us 53 and 50 years old

First time I went to the Intercontinental I just went for a pool day and was not that impressed. It seemed like another Abu Dhabi pool bar. However, having now been for a brunch and stayed over, the depth and breadth of services slowly become apparent. From the fine dining in Chamas to a bar in the Belgian cafe (which serves decent beer), and the beach to in house gym facilities, the Intercontinental is an impressive resort. The staff are as good as you might expect from a 5* - polite, skilled and willing to go the extra mile. And with some of the deals, it offers amazing value for money to stay in a downtown Abu Dhabi location. Would recommend. (Oh... And I didn't mention the marina and other restaurants... It goes on and on).

Professional staffs, convenient rooms, good foods & facilities but, no room charge system for breakfast

In a word, amazing. Fantastic area with its own pools, beach, loads of beautiful bars and restaurants and all the facilities you'd expect in a top of the range hotel. All the staff were friendly, polite and professional.

I read many reviews about the internet and the bathrooms, but my experience was great. The Internet was fast the stuff was welcoming but not much selection of food from the selection restaurant.

Very nice 5* hotel in Abu Dhabi. The rooms are a good size with everything most people need. ie fridge, safe, kettle, hairdryer, robes and slippers. The staff are lovely. Very friendly and helpful.
