Fantastic location . really enjoyed being in the middle of it all and having a grocery store right below us. We were able to walk to all the key local sites and had a fantastic time while there for a May 25, 2019 wedding.
We rented Flat 3, 1 Cranston street through inner city lets. It looked like a nice flat from the photos, but in reality it was very disappointing. The location is good and you can walk to everything, but the downside is the constant noise through the single glazed windows. The main problems we encountered were with the very elderly, uncomfortable beds with dirty mattress protectors and even dirtier mattresses. The kitchen was also very badly equipped, blunt bent knives, chipped crockery, no baking trays or oven gloves. The bathrooms were just elderly, but functioned ok. I contacted the flat manager after the first sleepless night and he did come to the flat. He agreed about the state of the beds and mattress protectors and said he wasn t aware of the problems. He manages the flat and so surely should be! We paid a lot of money to rent this place!! He returned two days later with MDF board to put under four of the beds. This only resolved the problem of the noise created by the broken base, but the mattresses were so old it didn t help with that. When we arrived there wasn t even any hand wash at the sink and not even one dishwasher tablet to start you off! I have never stayed in any accommodation which provided so little.
My advice would be to avoid renting from this company as they are clearly not managing the properties properly.
