Ingles Markets, Inc. Review

I usually don't rate a business low but this one I had to rate kind of low because every time I go to the deli and that's my only reason for going to this particular ingles. So I can get chicken but it's always been sitting for a long time or they don't have what I want and the customer care or service sucks

Attitude towards customers are well. Haven't experienced any rudeness towards me but workers attitude towards doing their job is horrible. In the deli it takes a half an hour to make two 12 inch sandwiches. I know it isn't supposed to take that long to service a customer. Food in their hot bar looks unappealing and dry. Just a bad experience every time I go here. Take an extra 15 minutes and go to the Ingles further down New Leicester Hwy.

Love Ingles! Check out their fresh bagels in the morning. Always a clean and friendly experience.

Great Susi but get there early they sell out quickly

Service is good, if slow. It's clean, it's just way overpriced.

Getting out on to lecester highway is a pain. Good old location.

They dont have the same selection as other ingles.. The salad bar is tiny, theres no hot bar and the staff is lacking the resources needed to provide decent customer service..

This Ingles has a lot of room compared to some. It is significantly cleaner than most I ve seen. A lot of teenagers and older people work here. The teenagers sometimes talk amongst themselves instead of with you. All the older people who work there are superiorly nice. Overall one of my favorite Ingles.

Staff wearing masks!!! Yay and they sanitize checkouts. They have 1 way directional markers in aisles. Love it

Long hours, wide selection, updated interior. Nice grocery store overall.

Clean store but incredibly hard to get in and out of parking lot. Medium sized salad bar with minimal selection. Deli cashier not visible.

This is the worst Ingles I've shopped, in my opinion. Several incompetent and sometimes ignorant employees. Also, some employees smoke right at the entrance to the store. Unacceptable. Come on Ingles, have some standards! I don't encounter this in my experiences at any other Ingles store.

Store was well stocked but overpriced! Walmart regular priced items beat Ingles sale prices.

It is smaller than some of the other Ingles. Easy to find things. You don't feel like you have to walk miles to get through the store.

This store has been there forever! And it's small. But ALWAYS clean which has to be a job as small as it is. I don't care for Ingles at all- I think they had a "captive audience" and if you don't want "Laura Lynn" items in a standard size of a lot things, you won't get it. They have built one on every corner. Way too much trouble to go anywhere else, and too expensive. But this little store is as good as Ingles can get....

You really need to check expirations dates on most everything.They can be restocking cases and there will be items out of codes so that is my only problem.
I have called it to the attention of the person restocking.
I check codes on any store where I shop.

Phillip, please oil the sliding doors closet to pharmacy. It is soooooo ear screeching. Been like that for months now. Ridiculous man!!!!!!!!

Only go more or less for salad bar even though they advertise low prices their prices are extremely high

I & mom only all times before ago. So nice place & good price. I hated many traffic over to bus stop. To hard over road.

Ingles has great freshly made subs and other foods to take on your Parkway trip or hike. We love a simple picnic at the top of the Parkway and they are close to entry points.

Not the cheapest grocery store in town, but the selection is to have standing and the staff is generally very helpful.

They have everything, and their hot bar and salad bar is fantastic.

The only problem is the deli has no customer skills, and the baggers put to many things in one bag, I they talk to each other instead caring for the customer

This ingles has the most unprofessional, ghetto employees I ve ever seen in my life. Do not shop here! There is another ingles like 5 mins down the road on your right on Smokey Park hwy that s 10x better than this place.

The store was clean and well organized. It made it really easy to find what I needed. The cashier and the bagger were really friendly and made me smile.

I think this is the original Ingles? Has character! Carefully entering and exiting either from New Leicester or Patton.

Obviously the bad reviews come from people who have no idea howbad other supermarkets are. Ingles has its own pizza place, a fresh sushi bar with custom made orders, A humongous cold/hot bar. Hot bar has Asian, and Western types of food. So your typical Chinese food fare along with friend chicken, corn, carrots, squash, mashed potatoes, lo mien, sweet potatoes, yellow rice, all types of bean salads, etc. All kinds of ready made salads i.e; chicken/turkey/pasta/seafood/organic etc.

I was SERIOUSLY overwhelmed by this place when I walked in!!!! Being used to your typical supermarkets in bigger cities which really only offer Wal-mart markets, Kroger, Publix, Albertson's, this place is heaven for food seriously lol. All of the areas for pizza, sushi, fried foods, deli, bakery, its like a ton of mini restaurants with seriously friendly people!!!

They have seating as well inside for you to eat, plenty of room!!! Best selection I've seen anywhere, TONS of options for organic body care, skin care, food, hair care.
