Attended a wedding reception here. The site was great for a reception, appetizers in the open area was a great start. The sit down meal was high quality and well done. A great taste with perfect cook.

This is the second wedding I've been to at the Marriott North in Indy. It was awesome, and the staff is helpful/super nice! Elegant ballrooms and great view from the back looking over the lake. Absolutely recommended!

This was a great experience. My wife and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary in Indianapolis and booked a king size room. When we got to the hotel they asked us what we were in town for and we told them it was our anniversary and they moved us to the top floor to a room that overlooked the lake and a pleasant view of downtown Indy. They comped us the higher-speed internet and gave us a coupon for a free appetizer to a local restaurant. I will definitely be staying here again.

This place was perfect in every way. Although I only stayed 1 night it was a great night. Comfortable and clean room, amazing views and great local access to a mall and restaurants. Even with Covid-19, this is an excellent place to stay. Clean and comfortable!

Arrived, took an hour for them to get our room cleaned. WiFi costs $10 and doesn't cover the entirety of the hotel. The staff seemed to purposely make our stay as difficult as possible. Not pleased with the service of the hotel and will not be staying here again.

I have stayed at this property many times and in the past they have been excellent. I now have an issue with a canceled reservation and have been transferred from one person to another, including at the property and call centers. Two of the people I have talked to have been downright unpleasant, which is very surprising for Marriott employees. I have left my number with the contact center who said the property manager or accountant would call- no return call. Very disappointing and frustrating.

Hotel was nice and new, but the lack of included breakfast is a downside. Luckily, the near by cafe patachou has awesome breakfast!

Heating and cooling system could use cleaning, the air was too dry and full of allergens, which was also a negative.

Great hotel in a great location of Indy. Rooms were modern and nice. Staff was friendly and service oriented. For the price it would have been nice to have a complimentary breakfast thus the 4 stars.

Everything you would expect from a Marriott. The staff was exceptional and the rooms comfortable. I would probably try out some of the other properties in the area if ever in area; but not because I didn't find this a fine hotel.

NO HOT WATER. Yes, I checked in. I went into shower. There was NO HOT WATER in the shower!!!!! I have never encountered this ever in all my years of traveling. I still cannot believe it. The engineer sent by the front desk clearly did not know anything. He turned the water on for 5 minutes, and confirmed that there was not hot water. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL if you expect to take showers.

I stay here 4 days for a business trip. Throughout the entire 4 days, there was no room-keeping at all (partially because I worked at night, but they know that).

The coffee mate in the room was expired (I am so glad that I found it out before drinking). Oh, and the lock on the bathroom door is broken and cannot be locked.

The third day they said they need to switch me to another room around 6 in the morning because of some power-related issue, but they do not have any available room to put me in. So I end up waiting 40 minutes for them to clean-up a room.

Then the last day I was locked outside the room (because the lock was broken?!!) and almost missed my flight.

Not recommended.

The facilities are top notch (reception halls, pool, gym and restaurant.)

The room left a little to be desired. It just seemed unfinished. No pictures/paintings on walls, no light in front hallway, no towel racks in bathroom.

The rainfall shower was amazing, the bed was comfortable, and the rooms didn't have overly thin walls.

Hotel staff are helpful and polite.

Great location, clean facilities. The staff was super professional and helpful. A great place for a work function. Can't speak to the quality of the rooms, but the rest of the building seemed well kept.

The internet TV was extremely slow to the point the TV froze and would not allow me to use the remote to exit where it froze. The doorknob malfunctioned. I had to wait for the maintenance department to get the door to open about an hour. Because of the time it took, I had planned to order room service, but they didn't have it fixed in time to do so. Instead I had to leave the hotel to find my dinner. And when I returned I was assured the doorknob was fixed and take my card, and to my dismay it was still broke, so I had to incur another hour for the maintenance crew apologizing and trying to get the doorknob to open. When I left for dinner I was told they had spare doorknobs, and they should have replaced the malfunctioning one. The last interaction I had was the manager asking me if I was planning on leaving my room again and when I said no, he said they would just fix it after I checked out since it was a late hour.. The hair dryer broke the next morning. I felt like I should have been compensated for the inconvenience. I have stayed at Marriotts on business trips all over the country. I had come to expect a high standard of service and had never had so many problems in a room. This is by far sub par to the Marriott hotel standard and will never recommend it to others.

The one star is for the front desk staff. Very friendly greeting, sympathic with my frustration. I appreciated when I thanked them I didn't get told "no problem". Instead, "my pleasure".

This is the go-to hotel for business meetings in Indy. The beds are incredibly comfortable, 8 pillows, clean and fresh sheets and duvet. It's the bed of dreams! Last time I was there, in June 2013, the friendly and helpful concierge, whom I tipped generously, set me up with a free movie and, after asking what time I wanted to watch the movie, sent up a beautiful tray with Cokes on ice (in a NICE ice bucket,) fresh popcorn and an assortment of candy! Talk about a shock. It was fantastic. I love the lake view and always dine at the nearby Cheesecake Factory, which also does great take-out.

Clean upscale hotel that is going down fast. It's getting kinda dingy looking (inside and out). Ceiling cracks with evidence of water leaks from the above floor. The walls need a fresh coat of paint. Bathroom tiles are cracking and loose. This whole place needs an "overhaul".
I have to pay for Wi-Fi? Seriously? I get it free at Tim Horton's with a cup of coffee, but you want to charge me $12.95? The middle finger salvo is high in the air!!
There is some good news! The beds are very comfortable and the staff is excellent! Regardless of the ceiling stains, the room was spotless.
It's famous for weddings!
It wouldn't take much to make this a solid "5 Star" hotel, but until the executives at Marriott fix it up, I would bargain for a $100.00 per night price point and demand free Wi-Fi!!
